The time when I either dunk on people OR get dunked on, it’s absolutely unexplainable. My players are suddenly in the most open spots to take bangers and other times I can’t even get past my half. I can’t explain it.

Yesterday i was winning 8/0 against a very casual player. At 75 minuts of the game he left his controller and i manage to score only one goal because the AI defending was way waaay better then my opponent defense.

💯 brooo for real…it’s almost impossible to score if your opponents controller disconnects or they miss the start of the half or whatever. Should be a “free goal” essentially since they aren’t actively playing but somehow the AI is so overpowered it’s 5x harder to score than if they were actually playing 😂
I don't leave my controller but I found that during most games, I can defend better if I don't touch my back 4 players (RB, CB, CB, LB).

I have worked in QA for several game development companies before and the people most responsible for this bad gameplay are the PM's(Product Managers) and not the developers. The bugs are already reported by QA in Jira, the PM's gets to decide on the severity, priority or just waive off the bug completely, with their main focus on the cost of the fix, Promoting IAP's and adding new features into the game.

I actually have nothing against Auzio he just do packs and shareplays. But yes it would be stupid to assume he is not working with EA in some sort of way... Whether he bluntly says it or not he is indeed promoting store packs. His gameplay is very ratty too, like if i match up against him my controller is going out of the window. Even then after all this is said.. i still want to watch what other people are packing and do my sbc gamble, Auzio does a pretty good job. And his reactions are good too 😂

For me, rebounds and lost touches have been the biggest killer in eafc 24 for me.
They are the worst ever, it destroys the motivation, you defend like crazy and the balls just keep bouncing of to the opp, the game overall been so unrewarding.

@@JaLoudda yeah the manual defense is incredibly bad. Either completely missing tackles that should be easy or the ball just bouncing back and you having to tackle the opponent 5 times every possession to get the ball back.

I consider myself an average player skill wise and a casual player in general. This isn't my main game, I play it for the love of football. I'm currently division 6 as someone who only plays 5-7 games a week. Even when climbing from 10 to 6 thought I haven't been below 7 in a long time, there was meta teams with custom YT tactics and parking the bus. I personally think ranks below 5 are average players at best and then decreasing from there. Its wild that the meta is that deep in low ranks, which in term kills the game for ppl who aren't YT viewers. You know ppl with little time on their hands and they aren't spending money, so they are running 86 overall teams or 87 overalls at best and just getting hammered bc so many ppl in Division 9 has TOTY Icons, TOTY Mbappe, etc.
I am in Div 1 and can’t be bothered going to elite. The football being played is disgusting. I will never use 4321 like a loser, pay to win, I will play for the fun 433 for fun and play though the midfield. The gameplay is so bad now I moved on to other games.

don't even get me started on the AI congestion and press. I pass to my CMs or full backs and as soon as they take a touch (heavy touch ofc cuz bad gameplay) I am swarmed by 2 to 3 players who are already breathing down my neck before I can even dribble. no passing options except for the dumb meta plays

some games my team is amazing with good movement, and they feel responsive and some games they are clunky, not making runs, no man marking and missing easy chances. You literally flip a coin when you load in for a match to see if you're gonna get good gameplay or not, usually it's bad especially after the patch smh

The midfield is very congestive as soon as you get the ball whilst playing career mode 3 CPU players are literally on you.. and finding players in space is impossible!!
In past FIFAs I got to Elite, and rank 3 - rank 1 in Champs consistently with half fun / half meta teams (not full meta is what I mean) and I did really well. In this FIFA my team is well behind the curve because of a break I took and I get COOKED by people I feel like just aren't as good as me and it's so infuriating, but they have the most META teams. Are players in this FIFA really that important? I thought I was going nuts because against these good teams the entire midfield is completely locked up, and I thought my opponent just had some god tactics? Or am I wrong idfk

Question, besides content wise, in terms of gameplay what makes this Fifa better than Efootball? Efootball stinks of content, but the game is free and updates like this Blue Lock one is refreshing. This week they even added a big patch which improves the fluidity of the ball which lots of players have enjoyed

@@nikoneezy pes 2021 looked so good, then Efootball overall downgraded in graphics. Both games have skill moves with PES, some players can do some tricks while others cant which makes sense. Game feeling wise PES feels more like futbol, but the game lacks so much content compared to Fifa unfortunately
I like how EA won’t allow any devs to get in touch w the actual community. Their silly board where ppl can go too is ineffective! Why don’t they actually open that board up? Probably because at this point it’s gotten so bad…. It just seems like we’re forced to play trash because the alternative is…
I don't even have to check what platform the opponent is on 99% of the time, when I'm against someone on PC they're players react so much faster and the dribbling is so much tighter it's almost impossible to beat them if they're half decent and this is coming from someone who went 19-1 last weekend with cross platform on.

I uninstalled the game now, it’s not worth it anymore, the gameplay has been trash since launch and half way through the year they still haven’t made it any better, I don’t have any ‘meta’ players, never have, I like using players I WANT to use, not who I HAVE to use.
Picked up Football Manager 2024 on sale and was the best decision I’ve made.
So this is my problem. I lost 8 games in a row yesterday. Couldnt get near the goal and the other side walked through my defensive lines like a warm knife through butter. I manual defended.. so i will try to let AI do it from now on.
Most toxic thing in this game is players moving their GK….
The defending is atrocious though. The AI defense is just overpowered, but if you actually try to defend yourself, you'll get run through.
Imagine playing CS:GO and your Opponents dodge the bullet because of the AI and you have to buy another player with money who has a better AI "Meta", this is FIFA.

I mean I’m far from top level, Div 3 when I actually try. But I’m able to use “non meta” because I feast on headers and crossing and corners. But the game makes it impossible to just play any style you want. You can be a cutback guy, a wiggle forward and backwards guy, or a header guy. You can’t just freeball it, but you don’t have to use Messi etc if you’re willing to learn to head

FC 24 heavily promotes wing play then cut ins, most chances created from a striker in the real world that would go in do not go in, resulting in the spamming of skills that you see in the game to day

3:25 I just packed Birthday Butra and I was so hyped to use him but so far every time I dribble with him or try to meg a player he just makes a horrendous touch and I lose possession. I've tried this before and it's never been this bad.

Hey Nick I agree! I love eFootball precisely because of passing through the centre space. Actually having high dribbling stats and one touch pass, the way the players move forward is a total joy. Gameplay offensively is leagues above where Fifa is in enjoyment. They just need a lot more daily content!! (Please try 3.4 new patch soon)

The match fixing in efootball is so obvious and annoying especially when you attackers run into defenders instead of open space. Yeah I've noticed the change in ball control and the ball just wondering away from a player when trying to control a pass, why did they even touch the game i liked it a month and a half ago during toty, the composure change has ruined most players in the game ive noticed most players without 90+ composure there not turning correctly or shooting on target when theres more than one defender in ge box 😢
It feels like everyone is playing the same tactics overloading midfield choking your team to the point you can’t get out of your half without giving away a simple pass

Instead of doing players level 100 and over they will keep nerfing every mechanic slowing players down and over emphasising animations to make the power curve move to the top top top tier players.
I have a team rated 93. And now after the patch my players feel like 80 rated players. Super heavy. Silly mistakes. Slow turning, awful passing. Its so noticeable.
And they do it to force you to the store.
I literally just let Cannavaro and Bastoni 91 AI defend and they get so many interceptions. I hardly lose letting the AI do the work. The only time I concede is due to something really jammy like the ball bouncing off someone 18 times in a row. Power shot from 9 miles away or aerial power header slabheads.

Honestly a good player can work through all of the bullshit. Is it a good game overall? Absolutely not. It’s partially the people who have to abuse its flaws to get results. It’s up in the air, half is ea and half is the player base

Tell me how gameplay feels completely different depending on the game locked you’re on. UT, Career mode, and kick off gameplay feel gapped in difference. Like completely different. The most balanced gameplay you could have gotten was in the World Cup mode in fifa 23. But even then it’s no guarantee of consistency.

I enjoyed my time playing MSG V, Nioh, GOW and other games where improving is noticeable and you survivability greatly increases.
I cam back this year after getting the game for free and I was manually defending like I used to 6 years ago and I got absolutely shredded with my simple gold team.
I looked at some videos and I understood the game and starting to improve but it is truly frustrating to defend. Some players will just use left stick to dribble past your defence with defence is standing still.
You are at the mercy of your AI defending basically.. No skill needed. But you do need some creativity in attacking.
I waited for Black Friday deal to buy EAFC24 for $39 on PC…. Because I love the team I support and I want more interaction w them and just in general of the game we all love. But tbfh. How are we going to justify even a discounted price for a horribly run game….

The more I've heard about this version of the game, the more I was justified in returning it 2 hours after purchasing it. Worst sports game I've EVER played. These creators say they aren't the problem, yet promote pack openings and spending FP. The more people spend on FP, the less they care about gameplay, its as simple as that. There will never be another FIFA with great gameplay and it has already reached peak pay to win.
Inception is wrong about next gen stuff. I played some kick off games on 24 then played some kickoff on fifa 16, it feels the same. Everyone is wrong about fifa "used to be good"

Ive played EVERY FIFA since 95.Along with Winning Eleven series and PES.FIFA 23 was my last one.Perfect timing I would say.
A big part of the problem with this game is a part of the community who wanted as much realism as they can in a videogame. This is what's driven EA into the animation cuckooland, catering to all these realism-merchants.
This people will also whine if the game becomes too "arcadey", that's why the devs had to dumb down the passing system to oblivion, to the point where it doesn't make sense as it made these footballers seem to never got education to pass a football properly in their respective football academies.
What made it worse is the devs won't acknowledge their poor netcode and poor network infrastructure, with server overload keeps happening. It's actually alright if EA just made the game normally as it would be slowed down by their own servers but they keep slowing the game down instead. This really means no one in the devs whether it's software engineer or network engineer play their own game through their own internet at their home.
The worst of it all is all these have been going on for years, meaning either they're all incompetent or they just don't care. The only way they stop doing all these is by all of us not buying into their BS annually. Just stop buying the game !!!

I must say: I'm not wondering or raging anymore. The gameplay changes nearly every day, sometimes it changes even in the second half lol. I just log in, look whats up at 7pm, do some SBCs and try to get 7 Wins over the week - I don't play WL or Quali anymore, its just a time waste and since my team is finished (all better players cost around 1-3m), I cant made it better. The best time of UT is always the beginning until Januar imo, but then, its just a downfall.
I actually think that they just cannot fix the game, there might be a new dev team or something, people who know nothing about Frostbite or HyperMotionV

Playstyles would be good if there were only the regular ones without the + variation. Every player should be able to do basic stuff and maybe be a bit better if he has a playstyle in a certain area. Without a playstyle players are useless and with some playstyle + way too overpowered.
Last year with a 78 CB I could defend in FUT champions

Theyve just made all mechanics without Playstyles fundementally worse. So the game flow and patterns just break constantly. Delay + animations make it hell to plan anything.
A couple weeks ago I finally had a team that I was happy with because i had players I liked in every position. I felt really good and was able to pass the ball around the way I wanted to. This week I can feel how sluggishly everyone moves. I just completed TOTY Sawa because I needed a new CM and I'm japanese so I thought it would be cool to have an icon from my country. I used her loan last week and she felt like a cheat code. Yesterday I played and she felt so much worse. I've been annoyed by offensive AI this whole damn decade but I had to fucking drag every single player manually into position. I was not playing football, I was playing custom tactic simulator with the Soccer Manager 2008 DLC installed. I want to be excited for this game but it's such a hassle.
This company is Trash. People buying packs just makes them not giving a fuck. Thats why i only play 3 games a day , fut champs and thats it. I can feel when im going to win or lose. Its like i don't have full control of my team. Managed to pack 93 fut birthday Benzema from a 83x 10 and sometimes he just feels like a gold card. Scripted games ruin this game for too long. My advice to people is... Just play a few games. Don't grind this game at all and last but not least, don't give them FIFA points money. Peace 🙏
instead of a doing a reaction with his video ( which I fully enjoy btw) wouldn't it be better if you did a joint reaction video/steam to a patch, would be more fun

Its just crazy.The scripting is a disgrace.I was 8-0 in champs and then struggled to get 11 wins😂 Like rediculous.One game i hit the post 4 fkin times his keeper made 9 saves( my keeper 0) his 4 shots won the game 4-3 . Thats just one match.Absolute joke.
They've completely ruined this game. There is no free flow football anymore. The game is a bounce simulator.
