I think the coolest thing about CA is that every album is based upon historical paranormal incidents, local legends, myths, etc. They actually took time to research their lyrical content.

No, you are right! "Where The Corpses Sink Forever" and "Dance and Laugh Amongst the Rotten" are their own stories. Except for some songs on the last record which are based on legends!

It's truly amazing just how heartbreaking the moment of 4:55 - 5:50 is....these children, even with their neglectful, abusive and seemingly disinterested-in-them mother, still, of course, feel SUCH pain and loss in that moment. The vocal performance in that section and the instrumentation and writing is a torturous, tender, devastated moment in the swirling maelstrom that is the rest of the picture and soundscape. Carach Angren has written something extraordinary here.
And there are kids that live like this.

When it gets this theatrical I can't help but chuckle, but I love the effort.
I just got into this band. It's really hard to conceptualize the song arrangement, lyrics, videos and mood that match the every music they make. Nothing but respect and I just hope they become commercially successful so they get the credit for being true "artists"

I've seen this guys more than 4 times already, my 5 time was in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's been amazing since I listen to them thanks to a Dutch friend I have. The most amazing thing of my recent concert was that the drummer was selling their merch and talking to the fans and so was Seregor and the keyboard guy, minus the new guitar dude from Cannibal Corpse. They're a humble amazing Dutch band.

It was an awesome show, I also saw before them Fleshgod Apocalypse back in feb 28 of this year, and them too, were very kind and paying attention to the fans after their set was done. If you were a friend of mine you can bet I would've get you back stage I know a few metal promoters.

Avalon Phoenix It sucks we are apart but the important thing is we are keeping the Metal alive in every part of the world. I'm half American and half Spaniard because of my mother. I love Fleshgod, fell in love with them when I listen to them for first time.

They listened to Cradle of Filth growing up, for breakfast lunch and dinner, it paid off too.
Think they may if snacked on C.O.F also lol,I'm huge C.O.F fan,and have to say C.A story telling and gothic symphonic orchestra is right up there

This is the first time I’ve heard of this group. I love the blast beats, vocals and the orchestral elements. It reminds me of a little bit of both Septic Flesh and Dimmu Borgir!!! This song absolutely gets five stars from me!!!

@@PlayNiceFolks i never understand the people who put down christianity but listen to metal and later gothic rock which was clearly inspired by Catholicism, especially with ours views of death and the afterlife.
I guess our religion is a mix of true Catholicism and the festivals of our European pagan ancestors. Our ancestors were stubborn and wanted to keep celebrating some of their religious holidays and eventually the Catholic church gave up trying to stop them and were like "Fine, as long as you dont worship or sacrifice to gods of other religions"

I'm relatively new to black metal and I hope that no one in here in this community minds my saying this is one of the most moving pieces of music I've heard in a long time. This is a great musical outfit. I've listened to all their albums since then and I can't imagine anyone who works harder than these guys. Amazing, amazing band.

If you started with this all other black metal bands are going to sound mediocre. Its basically like starting with the grade A weed that gets you stoned out of your mind first hit then smoking lesser qualities of weed.

Hello, everybody! My name is Mistress. I went to the Carach Angren show last night at Maverick Bar on Rideau Street in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. I would just like to say: A BIG thank-you to Carach Angren for coming to our country and city to play. I was there last night, on the side of the stage recording the full live show on My smartphone. I ALSO had photos taken with each and all of the band members. I got My poster from off of the wall autographed by everybody and I bought their tour t-shirt and CD. It was a DAMN good night and a good show. Thanks, guys, for EVERYTHING! UNFORTUNATELY, SOMETHING happened to My smartphone and I don't know what. I had went home and watched all the footage that I had taken and archived it all in My photos app. I just checked LITERALLY, like, EVERYWHERE, in My photos app, gallery app, and drive...GONE! ALL-GONE! I Am SO, SO...heart-broken. You see, I have chronic pain in My body and, to stay standing up for an hour and fifteen minutes to record a whole live show caused great pain and discomfort in My body the next day. And it was My first time recording stuff since I'm usually a photographer... I don't know what else to say except...I love you guys! You guys were great. If anybody is on this channel that was at the Maverick Bar last night, please comment below. Peace. And stay, forever and always, FUCKING metal! 🤘
