LIKE IS THIS WHAT THEY THINK PLOT IS?!?! Before stealing the writer/director gig you’d assume they did so because they had such confidence in their concept. I don’t think they could write a thesis for idol if they tried. I honestly question if they’ve ever watched a series or movie before. Like she said- “weird fever dream” vibes
The interaction between Destiny and Chloe was my favorite part of the episode. While watching that scene I actually forgot I was watching the idol. Then I quickly became disturbed again.
I hate that DaVine Joy Randolph keeps getting cast in shows that get cancelled. She was good in high fidelity but we knew nothing about her. She didn’t even get her own episode. CANCELLED. Now this show. 🙄
If this were any other show, the premise of Jocelyn secretly being the puppet master this whole time, like Xander seems to imply, would be such a brilliant plot! But I just can’t get over the fact that this was promoted as a story about a woman being taken advantage of in the music industry. And what message does it send if it turns out that that woman has actually been the one manipulating everything from the start? Especially with Sam Levinson and Abel “too much female perspective” Tesfaye as the writers?
That is my whole thing. I absolutely LOVE the movie Gone Girl. I thought it was so good & the idea was great, so you'd think Id be excited at the idea/hint of Jocelyn being the manipulative mastermind at the end. But I'm not. I think it all boils down to "great idea, but are Abel & Sam the ones who can properly execute this idea & are they the right ones to bring such a message to us?" Answer: No. Misogynistic men bringing us a premise of the "sad wittle girl" being the real evil is not revolutionary. Its not surprising, its not groundbreaking, it's the bullshit misogynistic idea that all women are these evil bitch harpies.
Look, I love me a good plot twist, I do. But it needs to make sense. Why would Jo manipulate Tedros from the beginning? What would she have had to gain from him? He's been nothing but a lousy sex-crazed rat-tailed and definitely-not-gay club owner. He had no power in the real world, just amongst the cult. If they really wanted to make us believe she was ready to do anything to get inspiration, they should have shown us a desperate artist at the beginning of the show. Instead, they went for the whole "mental illness is sexy" thing, probably forgetting that the broken artist is a trope for a reason. She went through hell and back between her mother, her grief, her mental health... chances are she must be flowing with stories to tell. Maybe she's repressed her problems because she already had an established career in the spotlight and had to forget her humanity to become a performing machine? There are so many interesting options this would open, opportunities to reveal the industrial side of labels (especially having Jennie from BP in your cast), yet the writers on The Idol decide they weren't paid enough for this shit, probably. That, or Abel thought characterisation was too much of a "female perspective" lol
Im thinking he probably wrote a scene of an entire concert arena taking turns to have sex with joselyn on stage the way he was acting like he wanted to exploit her sexuality to everyone and the weird fetish he had of doing things to her in public. But that might be too tame for him idk.
the original plan for The Idol series under Amy Seimer was to be 6 episodes but then Sam Levinson took over the show. Sam's original plan from the very beginning under his direction is to just have 5 episodes hence why he reshot many scenes
@@kiddlorenz7582yeah but then what was the point of waiting until 2nd to last episode to reveal its been 5 episodes all along? You have all these people watching the show & finally getting into it with ep4 only to be told theres one episode left? Its a mess
Surprised it was even made to begin with. It was bound to be a disaster ever since Sam and the Weekend took over the original female director's vision because 'it had too much of the female perspective'
Turning Jocelyn into the manipulator would make no sense because i feel like they are saying “ women don’t actually get manipulated they pretend” and so far they don’t have a good look regarding how they view traumas and women. I bet they are gonna victimize Tedros and act like he thought he was the one in charge when it was actually Jocelyn she was the mastermind. They also had a whole jennie from black pink and missed their chance so bad 😭
It's the same thing Sam Levinson did with Maddy's character in Euphoria when she was groomed at 14 by an older man. He had a character turn around and say, "Actually she was in control the whole time!" It's so gross
This is why I ignored all the rave about the release and kind of forgot about it. I’m so glad I didn’t watch it because it is traumatizing.. the only good thing to come out of this is Lily Depp and her acting skills. She deserves better!
Yes! I want the back story on how her and Chaim met Jocelyn and would commit acts of murder together. It could be the Better Call Saul to Breaking Bad.
I'm so confused how they made the cult leader human while they have a 17 year old member and trying to frame the main character as this complex evil villain wtf 😂😂 this was such a mess hbo has no excuse for letting this crap in a bag passed there desk
@@nont18411 when I think of Nate, I think of any good villain (not to say that he is a good villain, because in all honesty, his character development was really shotty ) they have a really nasty origin story and that story contributes to why they are such an evil person and it gives you a small amounts of sympathy. And the small amount of sympathy it’s not big enough or sad enough to excuse the fact that they’re a bad person it just adds to their character and makes them feel real for some reason they tried to paint the weekend as this complex character near the end in this one episode, the fact there was no build up to this character in the possibility of them having a complex backstory at any point in the last five episodes (or the five episodes I’ve watched through people) I haven’t felt any sympathy for this man. Which is the key to this character development trick, every time I hear anything about him or any snippets from the show I’m just disgusted and appalled and kind of annoyed. It’s unreal that he’s that bad of an actor, that the character itself is one dimensional and I don’t even know how you do that. I just found this really frustrating because if there was another actor in his position, then I think the character would’ve developed a lot more the storyline would still be crap but Id feel some thing for this character, but the fact is that he’s giving me nothing. The entire time I’ve just watch the weekend in a bad wig give me the weekend delivering stale lines and it’s gross.
It bothers me that they wanna erase Jocelyn as a victim and make her some manipulative villain. It’s just a bit concerning coming from men who’ve repeatedly objectified women and their suffering to write the plot line “oh actually she’s not a victim!! She’s the one in control and she’s lying to you all :)”
And to no one’s surprise, Sam Levinson managed to sneak a naked, underaged character into this show that’s supposed to be about adults. Edit to add: Nikki perfectly articulated what I’m talking about from 7:12 to 8:03
@@universal1771I think they mean though the actor was an adult she played a minor in the show. It was revealed in episode 4 or 5 I think? The blonde girl that’s always naked in tedros’ gang says she’s 17
I feel like sam levinson and the weeknd just put all the stuff and fetishes they wanted then tried to create a story around it, very wattpad story vibe wrote by a teen going through puberty 💀
So, they wanna portray Jocelyn as the "bad girl" who just plays victim to get what she wants? But how do the hairbrush scenes fit into that? And if all that "inspiration" she gained from Tedros was all worth it, then where's the good music or smart image change? I think the other cult members and their experiences could actually serve as an artistic inspiration & I guess they have to get rid of Tedros somehow - but how are they gonna make the whole story work within the last episode? So far I think the main weakness of this show is just this whole Tedros guy - badly written and badly acted...
Ain't no way they made the same character they had dancing around naked in a pool 17 yrs old 😭 it's bad enough she acts 12 but making her a whole minor on top of it is crazy. Sam Levinson core!
Jealous Guy is originally written and sung by John Lennon of the Beatles. The Weekend copied it word for word and beat for beat. He wrote it for Yoko Ono after he had humiliated her due to his jealousy during a photo shoot they did together. He felt like the male photographer was encroaching on Yoko & so to assert his dominance he put his hand down Yoko’s bra and held her breast during a photo. He felt like actual scum afterwards when he saw the emotional effect it had on his beloved wife. Fun fact.
So, it's LA and they can't find two women who actually speak Spanish? Nobody realized that "complexa" is not a Spanish word? (Not that it's the show's worst sin, but it irks mw how careless they are with these things)
I just wanted to say Sam is actually around 5’11. Idk why they said in that one article that he’s 5’3 😭😭but if that was true he would’ve been a baby next to all women but he’s taller than Zendaya who is a very tall woman.
I know it’s misogynistic that jocelyn is being portrayed as the bad guy now but im kind of glad that she’s somewhat in control and i laughed so hard when she brought her ex over and ruined tedros self esteem.
All things aside, I think the scene with Destiny telling Jos that Tedros is abusive and her making excuses for him is really powerful. It's word for word all of the things an enamoured partner would say about their significant other when confronted with such information, from the "crazy ex" to the "self-defense" and "kinda choked by accident". And she made it so convincing too. Lily Rose is an amazing actress.
I thought it was all incredible and think ppl are only outraged bc msm is telling them to be. The weekend straight up exposed how Hollywood makes a star. They traumatize them to profit off them. He said to Izaak while tasing him "you're a star not a human"
You mean to tell me there was NO WAY Johnny Depp’s daughter couldn’t find a way to drop this project? Idk I feel like she’s been getting a pass as an actress just doing her job, buuutt she had more ability than anyone there to walk away from it at any point. Lily Rose-Depps commentary also seems to indicate that they really want to spread the message across that abuse is apparently inspirational for art which is fucked up on SO many levels. I thought before that they were just using the line to give Tedros a reason to abuse her (not that he needed one) but with the plot twist they really seem to believe it?? I just....i cannot. This Show belongs into the trash and taken off of every platform.
Tedros' reaction to Jocelyn and Rob makes PERFECT sense. he's deeply threatened by ANYONE who could hold any sway over Jocelyn. it's a threat to his power and his sense of self. that's textbook narcissism. he's not emotion because he has deep feelings; he's emotional because his ego is fragile and needs constant validation
While I do partially agree with this, because of Tedros’ past ( he literally t*rtured his ex & was pimping other women ) it doesn’t make sense with his character, he is VERY violent and with the cult dynamic there is no way this would’ve slided. It doesn’t make sense with HIM specifically
No we all get that. What Nikki is saying, and I agree with her, is: WHY is Tedros acting so damn WEAK in the face of Joss being behind that locked bedroom door with her ex? With his history of violence and unhinged-ed-ness, you'd think Tedros would have gone full Shining with an axe on that door. "Heeeeeeere's TEDROS!" Instead, he's sitting crisscross applesauce in the hallway, whimpering and pouting under the towering purple majesty of a Prince painting, which shames him from above. This...this is not how we have been made to see Tedros. This is the character zagging suddenly when he should have zigged.
@@violetgc6049because he can’t cross that line with her. He knows that the moment he takes his rage out on her the way he has with others, he will be gone. This is his only chance to be in the industry and get famous. He wants to be someone iconic like Prince but has no talent so Jocelyn is the closest he can get to achieving that. He’s upset because he can’t do anything
What didn't make sense was how he was showing it. The acting didn't portray someone threatened and lost but someone sad and dejected, even almost heartbroken. Such a strange change to his character
@@nikkicarreon ah. yeah, that makes sense to me. that didn't fully click at first, probably bc i haven't watched any of the episodes. i just enjoy these reviews. :) i still think it's within character for him to respond the such fragility, but it would have to be followed up by some form of retaliatory action.
The show sucks tbh, it def had potential but from what I'm seeing it flopped hard. The idea behind it was good in a sense, def could've been executed better.
I feel like its the same for Deftones and Nine Inch Nails. Yes, the songs are sexual and passionate and dramatic, at the same time, it's emotional, powerful, and most importantly, not actual sex noises??
Not to mention the actual deeper meanings in deftones and NiN songs that are about more than just sex and love, with lust being the forefront for the song while the actual meaning is something deeper, like loss, addiction, etc.
If you look at Sam’s other works ( assassination nation, euphoria, and this)there’s a very common theme of sexualising minors in such unnecessary ways it’s genuinely weird
Tendros looking at Prince could be foreshadowing a moment. Prince passed away from a fentanyl overdose, and in previous episodes, xander said all the coke in LA has fentanyl. Tendros might die....
My guess: Someone's gonna poison him and make it look like an accident / drug overdose. If they really wanna turn Jocelyn into the "master manipulator" / "true villain" then she's either gonna do it or make someone else do it while pretending to be the victim of another tragedy in her life ... If they really do it kinda like that then it would just be another "woman sexy, woman evil" kind of toxic male fantasy 🙄
As much as I agree with everything we're saying about Sam and this production, the way people are surprised tells me they never watched Assassination Nation. I figured once Euphoria was everywhere, at least some people would check Sam's receipts?? AN is takes place in a high school setting as well. Chloe could literally be the fifth girlie of the crew. We let it get out of hand bc we respect the actors Sam casts, but his writing is dog shit. Style over substance, but the style is modern Terry Richardson.
Dude yesss I watched that movie forever ago and I was so surprised they let who ever wrote that movie direct and write a show that was starring zendaya?! Cause that movie was so trash
Assassination Nation is the reason why I have absolutely no interest in watching euphoria, I couldn’t get through the first ten minutes of that movie 😭
The fact that Selena Gomez team has came out & said that the weekend used intimate conversations she shared with him on this show was enough for me. And he sounds like a illegitimate child of Michael Jackson & Prince but CRYING🤣 I can NO LONGER take his cringe lyrics like “I’m Sorry God I Made You Cry” The creator of euphoria has & forever will be a weirdo in my book & im so glad I avoided euphoria like it was Covid 😩💀
Selena Gomez’s team?? Are you sure it’s not her toxic fanbase spreading that rumour? 🤨 also, I didn’t know Selena was the ONLY person allowed to have mental health issues and wear a hospital bracelet. This is such a far reach.
Never in a million years would I have thought Deftones were a musical influence on The Weeknd for this show. With the sex moans being so in your face it's more like, Rob/White Zombie.
@@xafilmbyx lol fair. I enjoy em both, tbf. Just thought it was a weird remark from Abel because I can't think of a single Deftones track that includes moaning. But the long intro to "More Human Than Human," (idk what version it might be because the YT vid doesn't include it, but a local rock station plays it pretty often) well.. both are awesome bands regardless!
Yesss! I mean, she was supposed to look overwhelmed in the scene with the record label - but: Where is the chemistry that indicates that she was/is Tedros' lover?
This show is SO painful to watch. And the sad thing is, they could have made a really good story out of this idea but no... just WAY too much of Tedros, who is literally the most unappealing character I think I've ever seen on a TV show, lol. They could have made a really engaging and interesting drama about abuse and exploitation from her mother and her team. But know, that wasn't putting enough attention on Abel. SO pathetic.
The most impressive thing is you managed to make it this far into the series. I couldn’t make it through the first episode. My brain was being tortured so I had to stop.
I'm sorry if someone already pointed this out but John Lennon originally wrote and recorded "Jealous Guy". After I learned how abusive he was I only heard the wife beater speaking, and this has not been a love ballad since. Thanks for the reviews!
it strikes me so hard when people call half of joss’s songs bad because it’s not actually her singing but it’s Ramsey which is one of my favorite artists and her music is usually that “sulky” & it’s amazing! btw she’s seen at 15:13 for example, the one with the black hair & big lips
@@nikkicarreon absolutely understandable, they forced my girl to do a lot of extra shit 😂 for example joss’s “world class sinner” remix was entirely Ramsey singing it, just nobody realizes it’s not LRD. she’s also on the “i don’t wanna decide things for myself” track
I just hate how much potential was wasted in this show, I wish they never changed the director because some of the scenes in the show were actually pretty good like the scene were Jocelyn is breaking down doing the music video, Lily did a great job there. Now if there was MORE of that, It could’ve been something *sigh 😔
idk how to explain it but the idol is basically like that one episode of bojack horseman where they completely rewrote a perfectly good show and made it into the bojack horseman show
I've seen people who worked on the show saying there was always supposed to be 5 episodes, they probably announced an imaginary 6th one just to cancel it for clout and shock factor

I’ve been waiting for this one, turn it up ! In all seriousness, I’ve been thirsting for content from you :) I think you’re literally so AMAZING, thank u for everything nikki
This. And I do like Prince's music but like Drake he met under-age girls offered them stardom and waited till they were of age before he made a move. He started talking to his first wife at 15 and was made her guardian at 18 years old. There's so much more women and stories...to much to list.
5:10 bro. BRUH. the fact her song literally goes "I don't wanna decide things on my own"☠☠ yo, I can smell Abel's female fantasy all over this line. bro literally have her sing his whole ass fetish of a woman. a little too on the nose dude
I just can’t get over how bad the show is in proportion to the vehement defense of some folks 😂 like it’s very clearly trash calling from inside the house as you say, defending the show in any way is kinda embarrassing.
Every single line of dialogue I’ve heard from this show sounds like either the writers have no idea how actual people talk, or none of these actors know how to deliver lines naturally 😭😭
I gave up watching after episode 3 but I appreciate your sacrifice for us. I'm so pissed that every time Abel's songs come on I cringe and hear 'I ain't gay' 😄
@@toriyt2714 he can’t hurt Jocelyn to the extent he has others because he knows he would lose any access he has to her. If he losses her, his chance at fame and the music industry would be gone. People who try to control others often act that way because they grew up in an environment where they had no control. So that feeling of being powerless is probably triggering. 24:31 There’s also a sexy Sidney Sweeny scene in euphoria where she’s lying on a bear rug naked in front of a fireplace… also that character is supposed to be 17 🫤
I feel like the director curiously gets a kick out of presenting female victims of abuse as the actually controlling abusive ones abusing men for their own goods. Bizarre because he did the same for Euphoria about a teen having sex with adults and portraying it as if she was the abuser ??? Fishy I think that this guy wants so bad to show how victim of abuse, particularly very young or underage women (while being actually abusive or not towards another person) are always controlling manipulative people and it always negate their traumas I guess. Seems like self report to me.
The series being cut short by ending at episode 5 is not entirely true. It's true that HBO initially ordered 6 episodes when Amy Seimetz was directing the show, however, when Sam Levinson took over it was changed to five episodes.
There are a lot things about this series that was cringe. But the cherry 🍒 on the top is having The Weekend music play all throughout the episodes. Tell me your one of the producers, without telling me your one of the producers. It was annoying AF!
Well… technically he’s been telling us he glorified drugs, mental health, and unhealthy relationships in his music for years… how did we not pick it up? 😢 seeing it on screen from his perspective was so revealing in the worst way possible.

Apparently, with the original director... the one who was too woman to talk about women's lives... had planned 6 episodes, but when Levinson and Abel took over they changed it to 5... WHY did that happen? dunno lol Okay, but this whole "twist" of 'please have sympathy for the abuser and the women are calculated and conniving' is tired. Makes me feel like abusive people are behind the actual camera too. I dunno, maybe I'm just too womany to know for real *eye roll*

@ragdaalhamwisome things are so bad, they end up good just for the love of cringe, lmao, this is one of those things.
omg literally
Bruh this is the part that drives me insane. The movie is directionless. How high were they when they made this?
The interaction between Destiny and Chloe was my favorite part of the episode. While watching that scene I actually forgot I was watching the idol. Then I quickly became disturbed again.

Destiny is what keeps me wanting to watch the show atp
Destiny is SO funny
@@nikkicarreonDestiny is my fav. Its always the black women who know what they're talking about when they're in a mess of a show
I hate that DaVine Joy Randolph keeps getting cast in shows that get cancelled.
Absolutely agreed.. idea: good. Execution: BAD. And the deleted exploit scenes that are public info say it all about Sam and Abel’s intentions
@@nikkicarreonwait are these different than the egg one and another one mentioned in the Rolling Stone article?
This whole "it was her all along I'm being used" reads too much like narcs twisting the narrative 😐.
they tried to make these characters so complex but it all just fell flat 😭
really tried to be on the same level as succession
I’m actually terrified at what the 6th episode could possibly be
Im thinking he probably wrote a scene of an entire concert arena taking turns to have sex with joselyn on stage the way he was acting like he wanted to exploit her sexuality to everyone and the weird fetish he had of doing things to her in public.
Its a mess
@@SocialExperiment232 I’m not surprised tbh. Ofc Sam Levinson would come up with that idea
@@getschwifty5271 that i don't know BUT the show was actually listed as a five-episode series when it went to Cannes this year
Surprised it was even made to begin with. It was bound to be a disaster ever since Sam and the Weekend took over the original female director's vision because 'it had too much of the female perspective'
The weekend showing his true color before took over the female director who her original plot as better
@@grumpysphinx4911 Sam himself is a predator expressing himself through this shit he puts out. People NEED to stop watching his crap.
Real. Except jennie can’t act for shit 😭
Exactly. It's like Levinson has heard about Lolita and watched the movie instead of reading the book.
Bonus points if they make he say that he was actually in love with her and feel betrayed.
as a traumatised community, we collectively dissociated while watching the idol
STOP LOLO 😭😭😭
YES LMAO almost reinstated my trauma 🤣🤣🤣
this was a fever dream we all have at the same time, and no one will say the opposite
This is why I ignored all the rave about the release and kind of forgot about it. I’m so glad I didn’t watch it because it is traumatizing.. the only good thing to come out of this is Lily Depp and her acting skills. She deserves better!
Can we make a petition for a spin off with Destiny? She's holding this show on her back, please HBO give this queen her moment
Yes! I want the back story on how her and Chaim met Jocelyn and would commit acts of murder together. It could be the Better Call Saul to Breaking Bad.
But it should be directed by the other director
But she's just little less cringe than other characters. Not interesting, she is not that charismatic or memorable.
Da’Vine Randolph is just great in everything I’ve seen her in: Only Murders in the Building, People of Earth, and this trash bag of a show.
just kill all of the show and make another better show with zero affiliation to this lol
Destiny and Chaim have the best chemistry in the entire show
Deadass, I would watch a show with those two as the lead characters.
Maybe about the days when they did kill someone 😅👀
yesss bc they reference it a couple episodes back too when chaim asks destiny to hand him a gun (the first time Leia mentions Tedros)
And now Da’Vine Joy Randolph has an Oscar!
I'm so confused how they made the cult leader human while they have a 17 year old member and trying to frame the main character as this complex evil villain wtf 😂😂 this was such a mess hbo has no excuse for letting this crap in a bag passed there desk
Sam Levinson will never let evil men be villains. Just look at his huge effort to humanize Nate Jacobs.
Also they showed 17 y.o Chloe naked. Disgusting. Idk why this men so addicted to child porn
I thought Dyanne was the villain.
That's what i was saying, Soo diddy like.
It bothers me that they wanna erase Jocelyn as a victim and make her some manipulative villain. It’s just a bit concerning coming from men who’ve repeatedly objectified women and their suffering to write the plot line “oh actually she’s not a victim!! She’s the one in control and she’s lying to you all :)”
i cant believe she literally says "i dont wanna decide things for myself" in a song like just straight to the point
the show really hit you over the head with its themes. no subtlety and clumsy execution

Also the cringe The Weeknd songs on the soundtrack are so literal, a sad few weeks for art ngl
This lyrics reminds me of Aaliyah's song "Age Ain't Nothing But A Number" written by R. Kelly
Sing don’t tell
And to no one’s surprise, Sam Levinson managed to sneak a naked, underaged character into this show that’s supposed to be about adults.
Edit to add: Nikki perfectly articulated what I’m talking about from 7:12 to 8:03
Are you serious how? Don't they verify age before they do any nude scene. Where were the parents.
@@universal1771the character is underage, I don't think the actress is

Nah wattpad is an improvement over this
So, they wanna portray Jocelyn as the "bad girl" who just plays victim to get what she wants?

Fun fact.
Thank you! I didn't feel comfortable letting people think The Weeknd wrote that iconic song, but I was also too lazy to write what you just wrote.
Dude its called a cover....
I mean he credits John Lennon for the song which he can do
I’m glad he had a measure of self awareness, because sexually assaulting your wife in public out of-well, out of literally anything IS fucking scummy.
Hey queen! That's actually called a cover!
So, it's LA and they can't find two women who actually speak Spanish? Nobody realized that "complexa" is not a Spanish word? (Not that it's the show's worst sin, but it irks mw how careless they are with these things)

their plan to kill tedrose would've had me watching this show honestly
if sam was smart enough to have written that, i might respect him. (no i wouldn't)

But they flushed it down the toilet, because now Jocelyn is a mastermind manipulator. So she knew about things he done and she knew it was true
“And his legs look really tiny” why was that so hilarious I literally cackled

@@toriyt2714 he can’t hurt Jocelyn to the extent he has others because he knows he would lose any access he has to her. If he losses her, his chance at fame and the music industry would be gone. So yeah he probably is mad but hes crying and emotional because he hates that he can’t do anything about. People who try to control others often act that way because they grew up in an environment where they had no control. So that feeling of being powerless is probably triggering. But it’s like his character is a pos so it’s good that he’s upset because he deserves to he
24:31 There’s also a sexy Sidney Sweeny scene in euphoria where she’s lying on a bear rug naked in front of a fireplace… also that character is supposed to be 17 🫤
There is a lot of inappropriate “underage” scenes in euphoria I was disgusted after just the first episode
That's it!!!!
Fun fact the weekend's jealous guy is a cover of john lennon's song same title.
Fun fact John Lennon beat his wife
Can’t even listen to theweekend w/o getting the ick anymore dude this show ruined the songs for me
same
Same :(
Well… technically he’s been telling us he glorified drugs, mental health, and unhealthy relationships in his music for years… how did we not pick it up? 😢 seeing it on screen from his perspective was so revealing in the worst way possible.
Yall are so weird bc this is the shit he been singing about since the very beginning. Hes always been the sad fuckboy who loves coke...were yall all really fooled because he's got a crooning/soft voice? 😂
If that is true, he really is a good actor then
Jealous Guy is a cover. It's originally by John Lennon
Originally covered by Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music
@@angeltangle Oh yeah I forgot about that
"At least someone is finally coming to Brazil" OMG I LAUGHED SO HARD
I'm brazilian and that made me truly laugh.
Anyways, how HBO let this happen? It's so terrible
I love your content. You never fail to make me laugh and your account is so comforting.
Apparently, with the original director... the one who was too woman to talk about women's lives... had planned 6 episodes, but when Levinson and Abel took over they changed it to 5... WHY did that happen? dunno lol
Okay, but this whole "twist" of 'please have sympathy for the abuser and the women are calculated and conniving' is tired. Makes me feel like abusive people are behind the actual camera too. I dunno, maybe I'm just too womany to know for real *eye roll*
idk how to feel about them going after the only openly gay character like that...
