A couple ideas for you. 1 in the space under the solar calector you can add a heat colecting storage box. This could axstend he drying time over night. 2 YOU can use dowals with the end cut with notches for close drying. We
1) Heat box at bottom of solar collector: The people at permies.com have added rocks to the bottom. They have also added mud masses and rocket burn chambers. All of this adds weight to the unit, but holds heat longer. 2) Use the dehydrator as a clothing dryer... that's a thought!
The flow of the air is the most important action. As long as air moves, it takes moisture with it when exiting. Sorry, I don't have temperature and moisture measurements to share. #Dehydrator
my fruit trees are still very young and small. It will probably takes some more years before they'll give fruits. So I do not yet need a solar dehydrator. But maybe in the future I will ...

Do you find that temps are lower at the bottom and higher at the top or does the air flow balance it out?

What did you use to drill the holes in the glass?
Re-used shower glass that already had the holes.
So what paint DID you use? I couldn't understand. everything. Is the recipe available somwhere?

Interesting vid, hard to hear though.
I have many videos to browse. Plenty to help the people who are reverse engineering what I show them.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 wonderful

Why not just burn the sun collectors? Is that unsufficient blackness?
ATC class had tried that on a previous project and thought of it to be lacking. Paint recipe is free on permies dot com.
Thanks for the answer!
@@R0jiv4 That was a great question. I wonder if it'll work, but with a bit more time???
@@flowerchild777 I don’t think so, I believe the surface will generate less heat.
would have been real nice to rotate that phone 90 degrees......
permaethos.com has the high quality video.
I made you a model:) ua-cam.com/video/C6zBWrfq1gM/v-deo.html
No it wouldn't. The unit is tall and there's no reason to capture things to the left and right.
