It was not actually a nerf, I'm pretty sure the hp of post moon lord bosses were decreased just as much,
I'm pretty sure this is because there was a huge spike in damage/Health of weapons/bosses when you reached post-ML
I think rust and dust endgame weapons could almost instantly kill bosses like Moon/plaugebringer goliath, but after 1.5 their damage was nerfed, But since the hp of *endgame* bosses was decreased too, they still kill the *endgame* bosses just as fast as before.
If I'm wrong please correct me.
@@bamaxdaws6459 Yeah.. Some weapons are worst than before, and the carry weapons are still extreme powerful compared to other weapons
People said it is a nerf not just for the weapon nerf, it also was for the accesories nerf or just killing some accesories, in some way it was a nerf to the survivability of the player
Summoner is still a hell to play
I think percentage wise, all weapons actually had their damage increased when you compare it to the health decrease given to the bosses. It’s just that bosses are quicker and smarter now that technically makes them stronger as well.
In my opinion, a great way to rebalance the game. It was done because those huge numbers were apparently affecting framerate
I am glad that the celestus is useful in boss rush now that triactis' hammer is only melee

I love how the Soma Prime basically keeps it's Warframe stats and it's usual build of slash/bleed procs. True to form.
I think its pretty cool they have a warframe reference as it was one of my favorite games like a year ago, just taking a break rn
is there any other mods with better guns than the sova prime? because i have a gun, forgot what its called, that does 149 dmg and with all my accessories and armor, the dps is at 20k a second, btw im on calamity death mode, even with this, golem is still hard to defeat, yall have any recommendations? im a gun class user btw and i have hallow armor with the range helmet
Has anyone noticed the Dragon Rage in 1.5? It's such an underrated weapon. It deserves to be on this list ngl. That's because it deals a base >20000 DPS, and with a good loadout I found it can do over 100k DPS, which is massive in 1.5.

I think even though Dragon Rage deals good damage, Elemental Excalibur will be more powerful and versatile than it, and yes, rainbow party cannon go brrr
Murasama + Soul of Eternity go brrr (i got 140k dmg and 170k true dmg in murasama's stats with some stuff from calamity itself and fargo's souls lol)
And like 600k dps too lol
People have no idea that Exo Box mount + Dragon's Rage can delete the Adult Eidolon Wyrm's HP faster than a player spamming click on the Muramasa lmao
its harder to use because its true melee so its dps will be better obviously
In my opinion, Universal Splitter should be included in the summoner best weapons. It can deal huge amount of dps very quickly with a downside of cooldown. It can be a very overpowered as a side summoner weapon.
Yup, I agree that Universal Splitter is a very powerful Summoner weapon, just not too practical in most case scenario, thanks for the suggestion!
@@GitGudWO a more op combo for summoner endgame is to have a seplucher summon spam the rest of your minion slots with midnight sun ufos and then have angelic alliance and use the ability it can do upwards of 2.5m dps i know this works because i did it in my most recent play through lol

@@thatjannabitch9372 pretty much yeah the angelic alliance uses your sepulchers highest dmg as a base damage for each of your angels and if you spam midnight ufos you get a ton of angels allowing you to do a ton of dps
Another downside is its rareness, i mean, 3 draedon's remote? Damn..
I think some exhumed weapons should get an honorable mention, their dps is outclassed by some other weapons, but their unique nature and incredible designs make up for the fact!
That being said I think you nailed the list based on practicality over raw dps
Exhumed weapons tend to be not practical due to their nature to damage the player, that being said, that's true that they're unique and awesome!

Fun fact: enchanting Elemental Excalibur with Tainted will work as expected, except the double damage on right clicking still applies. This makes it the best melee weapon in terms of DPS, far exceeding all other endgame melee weapons.

I'm really surprised, at least for Rogue, that there was no mention of the Flamsteed Ring. With the Eclipse Mirror, the Flamsteed Ring allows Rogue to do the highest possible DPS in the Calamity mod, as the Flamsteed Ring's Mech can't consume Rogue Stealth, but still benefits from it.
Didn't they change it so that it doesn't work anymore?

Flamsteed ring ain’t even rouge damage, it’s technically summon damage but it scales of your weapon making it friendly to all classes
If counting exhumed weapons, metastatis is nuts. Its downside is completely negated as summoner because your other summon will tear the hearts apart.
Honestly I would've personally included would be the Profaned Soul Crystal, even though its technically not a weapon on its own. I've found the active attacks you gain the ability to use from it to be amazing for any situation while giving a great dps to back it up. But its fair enough that it wasn't included since it really isn't a "weapon"

While I agree that the fab staff is one of the best I would say the rainbow party cannon is also one of the best and better than eternity, while the lack of movement and start up are notable debuffs, the sheer amount of damage in a single oblatory shot is insane
Also another good endgame ranged weapon is the halibut cannon + god slayer slugs. It’s pretty useful pre bossrush
You should include has honorable mention that item that Buff Summoners A LOT is a Angelic something, ia reaaaaly fantastic

Yes, even after the nerf to the SD, i still consistently deal like 480k-800k dmg on a single stealth strike. The stealth strike now is so powerful that i can literally one shot like 2/3 of the bosses in the game on Death mode. Very balance, that's why i love rogue, and why i love the SD personally.
It be nice if they add special mechanic in each class like rogue stealth strike, ranged as bullseye which deals 2x damage, melee berserk (reduce damage taken and increase damage), etc.
For melee there's also Triactis' True Paladinian Hammer of Might which deals 2k base damage like elemental excalibur but it's easier to craft has decent range is VERY fast and has a damn big explosion it depends on your taste really but this is also an extremely good end-game weapon for melee
What is allowing the soma prome to spawn bullets behind the character?
What accessory you used so you spawned additional bullets when firing ? ( in ranged section of the video )
It's probably because I'm using God Slayer Slug bullets and Elemental Quiver accessory
it is god slayer slug bullets. look them up on the calamity wiki

Fun fact both murasama and the calamity health bars are based on a game called Metal Gear Rising Revengance.

So much so that I like to have all the weapons, even though I'm not playing with that class.

Even with the scarlet devil nerf for some reason my stealth strikes did nearly a hundred thousand damage somehow, definetely balanced
For meelee there's also Earth. Which will not only destroy bosses but also crash hour PC when fighting worm bosses.
I feel like Dance of Light is a very close second, it's super fast and fires at basically a straight line and deals decent damage per hit too, it has insanely high dps and should be used is you're very good at aiming
It's actually the best mage weapon idk if it got buffed since you commented but it's op now I can do 100k dps on a single target...
I havent tried this but with the temporal umbrella you could theoretically kill sepulcher

I found it funny that the soma prime has the shred debuff, because of the widespread slash meta in high end
As a huge Warframe fan, I can appreciate that the Soma Prime's stats are actually accurate to what they are in Warframe. (Excluding the fact that it fires faster than the speed of light)
Elemental Excalibur is from the avalon mod one of the first content heavy terraria mods

Ok but has anyone tried the elemental Excalibur with the tainted enchantment? It basically grants enough life steal to tank almost everything in boss rush.
For mage i found that the rainbow party cannon SHREDS EVERYTHING, SCal evaporates under the RPC

4:39 What about nano black reaper weapon? Before 1.5 update it was godly. Now it only deals about 20,000 dps when i use it and is useless in boss rush.
I was thinking the universe splitter is the best summoner but then I remembered on it's own the cooldown doesn't help

I remember when contagon had 4000 Based dmg. And during my playthrough with my friend wearng endgame armour and accesories. It had over 16K dmg.

I find it hilarious that some warframe players still worship the Soma Prime enough to want to add it to Terraria as an End-game weapon when in Warframe it deals peashooter damage to enemies and needs to bleed them to death wile there are other Full-Auto weapons that deal over 25x its damage per shot.

You have to ask people around if they still have v1.4.5 update of Calamity mod, few people in Calamity mod Discord server might still have it

You forgot that soma is a ror reference somewhere(in the debuff or supercrit description)(says something like “someone got 10 tri tip daggers)
the wand is crazy op for mage it can 1 shot yharon if you get it to stand in the tornado and get calamity to 30% hp if you are using the right armor and accessories

Melee: Earth, just works in Slow enemies and the dps is soo high (psd: Earth dps is several nerfed in 1.5, 12~17M in 1.4 ~~~ 2~3M in 1.5)
That's true, Earth has insanely high DPS, too bad it's true melee, that's why I picked Elemental Excalibur for versatility

im personally id say the endo hydra staff is better then endogenesis because it has 225 base damage and only cost 1 minion slot to summon not to mention you can summon an infinite amount of endo hydras while the endogenesis can only summon 1 minion at a time
