Mikey was written to be the "dark horse" of the team. You would expect Leo or Raph to be the better fighters but, no. It's Mikey. He mastered every weapon with ease before his brothers, opted for the nuns on a purely style basis. Splinter told him specifically he was the most naturally attuned fighter. Yojimbo mistook him for the reincarnation of a noble samurai. He is the Last Ronin. Now you know why Mikey is everyone's favorite turtle.
@@jon5one7 Oh, Hell! Sorry! I assumed pretty much everyone's read it by now. My bad. It doesn't detract much from the story. Brilliantly written & great artwork too. The twist is spoiled but the read is not. I can guarantee that much.

You know it's funny how the creator's refused to let them use Bebop and Rocksteady for the live action movie so the movie director created Toka and Rahzar and now the creator's use them in their comics and other media.
@@sharkbyte1565 To tell you the truth I'm not exactly sure what the true reason is. I have heard a few different reasons as to why. But the two more popular reasons are, it had to do with licensing issues, and the other one is the movie creator's didn't think Bebop and Rocksteady were evil looking enough and wanted to change them but the comic creator's refused to let the movie creator's change them.
I like how the 2012 show took time to establish all of the mutant villains as a character before mutating them. That's one of my favorite aspects of it.
Why so little focus on the character’s origin in TMNT2 Secret of the Ooze. He and Tokka are the only characters in the whole franchise to be introduced in the films and make their way to other media.
because there's not a lot to say about their original counterparts. toka and rehzar were babies, besides their aggressive tendencies or overall stupidity, there's not a lot to their character or personality. heck besides calling shredder mama, they don't really say much.
Eh, I would have to disagree. The 2003 series literally reduced Baxter Stockman to a brain in a painful way as well as having a cancelled episode where Hun was revealed to be half of conjoined twins. Then there's the Mirage and IDW comics which have get darker than that.
@@toolazyforaname Kinda came to a natural conclusion. The fourth season wrapped up the overarching story and Season 5 was just a few individual multi-part stories that happened after the Season 4 finale.

IDW has the most adorable version, even when he was ready to bite the turtles in two. And I think it's also the biggest incarnation of him in terms of size and power , seeing that he and Toka were still young and far from being fully grown and they were half the height of the apartments in the city. Rahzar used Toka as a projectile at one point, and Toka alone was literally speaking a tank . I suppose I also have a preference for this variant, seeing that IDW makes some of the most interesting variations of the classic characters. However, the version from 2012 is clearly in the top of favorites.
Very fortunate random Recommendation for me. I think when Dogpound became Razor Elsa found where ice stopped watching the CGI TMNT but I want to get back into it while it’s still on Netflix
The 3D animation but went on way too long, and you did it twice before getting to Rahzar for length. Also why do you never put movie adaptations of any of these characters on here?
I'm pretty sure it was when the mutagen was left with dirtbag and groundchuck since bebop and rocksteady's mutation happened in the technodrome it wasn't that hard to figure out
Why Rahzar is in more media than Tokka? His toy figure sold better. LOL I like the design of the Nickelodeon TMNT but it's Chris Brandon in that mess, I mean really it was a cool ninja henchmen, then change into a dog with spikes and a giant arm. I'm going to be bias, but I'd rather have 80s Rahzar than 2013's version, but rather have 2013 than all of the other iterations. But I do wish they would've made 2013 Rahzar in 2D, otherwise it would out beaten the 80's version. But for now: 80s > 2013 > All the others, including Chris Bradford & Dogpound. Just erase both of them and it wouldn't change the plot.
