They got the cast involved at one of the conventions. The SPN cast are known for being extremely engaged with their fans and when they heard about this project (presumably through Osric, who played Kevin in the show but plays Sam in the parody) they were happy to go along. All they knew about it was that it was a parody and they needed to do a little dance in a side room for 30 seconds. They all agreed and that end part is the result. Rob Benedict (Chuck in the show) is also in this, but most people don't notice it's him playing Cain (the lady over there with the hella good hair lol).
Sam is played by Osric Chau aka Supernatural's Kevin. The guy playing Crowley was the guy with the Goldem named Aaron. Cain is Rob Benedict aka Supernatural's Chuck.
This never fails to put me in a good mood, been awhile since I watched it, but I watched it on repeat after the end of the show to keep my spirits up. I love watching fans react to this because I never see anything but pure joy in their faces and that also makes me smile. Especially when the cameos from the cast come in. Totally unexpected on first watch, this cast is so special for taking part in a little parody like this, and the second one.. well, it’s even better. Try not to collapse when you see it. 😄
Yessir! I have watched all seasons of Supernatural but the Hillywood Show makes me wanna re-watch the entire show, too. 💜 Those sisters are so talented.
