- In today's video, I buy a MONSTER prehistoric fish for my backyard pond! I got a call from my friend Zak who said he has 2 rare fish for me to buy! I've always wanted these fish so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get them! But to prepare we had to feed all my rare fish and monster fish so that when I add these fish into the pond, they won't get eaten! We fed my vampire fish, goonch catfish, Matt matter turtle, abba abba knife fish, and my POND MONSTERS! We then headed to the fish store and checked out all the cool new stuff they had! They had tons of koi, iridescent sharks, catfish, rare turtles, and even an ALIEN FROG which we decided to buy! We then showed off our new prehistoric pets we were buying, which was 2 Russian sturgeon! We netted them out and also bought a rare firewood catfish and headed home to get these fish into their new homes! We ended up spending over a THOUSAND dollars on these fish, so we acclimated them and added them into the ponds in fish tanks! However, a few days later I discovered my monster redtail catfish trying to eat them! So I jumped into the pond and caught them out and put them into the front pond where they can get massive! Comment what fish, turtle, and even frog we should buy next!

@@psytoxingaming3090The net would obviously have to have holes it in it, they can big holes since the only thing that could eat them are raccoons, Hawks and other big predators.

You should buy one of the tanks Zak keeps his big fish in at the store. I like that they have a window on the side of the tank so you can get better shots of the fish.

You are going to need a super big-deep pond for those sturgeon! When they are grown, they need space. They are bottom feeders, but they get big. Love them!

Sturgeon never stop growing...only mature about 40 to 50yrs old to breed and are a protected species some part of the world ...can grow bigger than 10feet easy

If you are getting into crazy frogs you should take a look at Serpa design for their habitat design. Your new fish room should have room for a really nice setup for them!

You should put covers on your pond like at the fish store. You shouldn't have problems with snakes and other predators getting into your ponds. It's always fun to see the crazy fish at the stores.
Also would like to see snake head catching and feeding to your monster pond. I see that as making a difference. I know you can’t show much on here but catching to feed the gang is awesome. It’s content and free feed. Love this channel. Hope to see you and Rob link up again in the future.

Transporting may not be illegal but if you have a live snakehead in your trunk and a police pulls you over, you know how that would look to the police…

I think you should rebuild all of your ponds, make it like at that shop ponds, clear and beauty looking ponds😊
I would like to suggest a black bird netting for you to put over the top of your ponds. You can still feed your fish through it and lizards can get through it for the fish to eat them but it will keep snakes and other things like that out of the ponds.
You spend so much money and time on them and I know you love them so much you should protect them.
I'm always surprised you don't throw all the tilapia you catch into the predator pond. Natural food source.
Also, those Hi-fi sharks grow up to 2 ft or more. They dont stay tiny. They also prefer colder ponds, makes them perfect for koi ponds.
Also, 100% true on the Frog and how they have their babies. Kind of gross, kind of cool.

Up in canada here the sturgeon are a super protected species. My brother fishes for them (without barbs and releases of course). You literally have to get in the water to get a picture with the fish because they are around eight to ten feet long. its insane. They get crazy whiskers and barbles. amazing . i wish i could show you pics.
You want giant stergon, come to the PNW. Columbia River has monsters. I think it was a yr or two ago that 12+ footer was caught.
Probably should have added them to the big koi pond instead.

sorry im late, for your firewood catfish make sure that he has a hideing spot like a small cake , my firewood catfish love the cave i gave them and make sure you put nets on your ponds so sankes cant sneek in ,keep up the good work and i think the name that you gave the paddle fish would be nice for your new PREHISTORIC fish and to respect paddle fish

A giant white sturgeon was found along the Lake Washington shore near Kenmore (Seattle) this past week. It was just over 8 ft and weighed 300-400 lb and estimated to be around 70 years old 😐🤯

Lesson to know about sturgeons is that they're vegetarians and prefer warm water. That's is why you should put them with plankton fishes.
I’ve seen those frogs on a wildlife show a few years ago. The babies do hatch out of the skin. Very cool.
Okay so first off, I would LOVE to know how much talapia you go through per week! You always use them as fish trap bait, and apparently you feed the monsters with it too?! Hey Bobby, have you thought about making one of your aquariums salt water? If you turn one tank and one pond saltwater you should buy an Emperor Snapper! they are beautiful and also are a very aggressive predator! you could go to the beach and catch saltwater fish just like you do the freshies, just an idea. regardless i will always watch your videos!!!

I always thought their were other types of fish in the predatory pond, too and I thought them and the red tails pretty much got along. Maybe it's because the sturgeon are a slower breed? I hope they work out in the newer pond
Trust me I enjoy watching this channel. The fish you recover from the sewers is amazing and I enjoy your funny antics.
But your lack of knowledge of fish is severely sad, do your research before buying or placing salt water and brackish fish in fresh water, and draining ponds then filling them back up and immediately placing fish back in before water parameters are proper.
And your lack of knowing what a quarantine pond is really for and not using a quarantine system properly.
Yeah the fish you buy are purchased with your own money but the fish you are buying are wild caught which depletes them from nature.

You need to watch the sturgeon in hot weather, they come from very cold lakes and rivers in northeastern Europe and don’t thrive in too warm temperatures. They need very high oxygen levels in those conditions.
