as much as i love psyfe i don't get why they change the pronunciation on some of the already english lyrics from the original song. I get that it's a whole different take to accommodate for the english part but why is the mixing so different from the original? it feels like a whole different person mixed their voices . One more thing about the lyrics, whoever translated ren and jimmy's verse did a bad job. I live for the already english parts in the original like "Boom, loud speaker" or "Tell me baby, you'd be my ride or die?" and what was going on in jimmy's verse? half of it in the original was already in english, i find it hard to believe that they found it easier to start from scratch rather than translate the japenese to english and just grammatically correct it. TL;DR the mixing on their voices and their pronunciation is weird and they could've translated better, ren's and jimmy's parts were butchered.

actually, their senpai(senior since this group debuted a few years before psyfe) , the rampage from exile tribe, did the same with a few of their songs (that includes their debut song)
Lots of Jpop groups do this now. I prefer the original tho as the lyrics are changed in the English and make some parts sound too braggy and obnoxious whereas it was considerably more modest in the original
This is really not that new many Artists even back in the 90s/early 2000s has eng Version some even had Chinese Version usually the Version in different Languages dont really get promoted or have proper Fans though most Jpop Fans seem to prefer the original

They need new producers outside the country. I'm starting to wonder, why the promotions are mediocre. These guys are already in this industry for too long, but the company is not doing anything. They promote them but I feel that it's really lacking. I enjoyed their song but it really is different from the first one.
I do agree that a group can expand overseas without releasing songs in English. As an international fan, I can speak for other Intl fans as well when I say that we love and appreciate the Japanese language so don’t worry, Psyfe will continue to sing in JP. Also, they are not gonna release songs in English all the time like XG. This ver. is to show their appreciation for us Intl fans. They are marketed as a global group and was introduced as one on a JP show. They will do things that catered to their overseas audience. This is perfectly normal.

They are such incredible artists that no matter what language the songs are in, the music will always be incredible in any version 💚
英語版は実験的な要素もあると思うので個人的な意見です。私は海外アーティストを好きになるときはその国の文化や言語の雰囲気も含めて好きになるので、海外展開＝英語でなくていいと思っています。サイフィが海外公演でその国の言語であいさつをするのは敬意や愛なのと同じで聞く人もアーティストの言語に愛を持っていると思うので、日本語で歌うことも大切にしていってほしいです。

It's the autotune. They overdid it to mask the accent of the members, but doing so distorted their voices.
