Do you even know what it means if you're being scouted like that?. It means you have the visual and it serves as a big green light pass.😅
It also means and the reason why even when you don't have enough talent or wasn't passable they will still recruit you as a trainee because they like your visuals.
It also explains why bangchan needs to do literally everything during audition but felix do the bare minimum.
Nope this is not me downgrading anyone, it's just me stating the obvious nature of kpop being visual centric and how when fans fussed up about someone visuals etc.... Etc... You guys need to remember the essence of kpop lies quite heavily on its visual presented.
Just to name a few, BTS Jin, Astro cha eun woo all was street casted - they are among the weakest in both vocal and dances during trainee and even still to this day (albeit them getting better as the nature of the job) but yeah just. Me spitting facts.
@@yummymellon4058 yes i know. I was just joking.. but just because you have visuals and u did the bare minimum as a trainee doesn't mean you can continue doing the bare minimum. If anything, because of the really good level of their mates they would feel an extra pressure to keep up with them. BangChan might have done more in the audition, but they all had to do a lot after they were accepted. Proof of that is Felix getting eliminated from the show at one point.

My daughter said the Melbourne concert was better then she ever could have dreamed...She traveled from Perth to see them. I hope they have a fantastic time in their hometown. The boys are lovely and I am proud to be a much older Stay. Such a great interview. Keep shining boys 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Because Aussies are friendly and down to earth .
It feels like they're getting to sit down and have a proper aussie chat. She feels like your mom's best friend that you haven't seen for ages but she wants to hear everything you want to tell, with an honest curiosity (as well as professionalism). It's got to feel like they've been welcomed home through this. Just lovely.
There has to be something precious about getting to soak in your childhood context of your home country and the people like that.

Chan is always so chill in these typ of interviews. He's funny, adorable and his voice is really calming. The interviewer did a great job bc who knew felix was scouted on facebook out of all places😂Chan was right about the stranger danger but it all worked out in the end
This is only their 2nd Australian interview since debut and they have been very big since 2020 when God's Menu went viral....I hope to see more Aussie media recognizing Chan and Felix because they are BIGGGGG globally....so hopefully more local coverage on them in the future

@@ykook7000 kinda true...but jyp will send them where they are most in demand(Japan, USA,etc)...its costly to travel, yet alone set up for promo, tours, events...so Australian entertainment media needs to create a demand especially with Chan and Felix's(and SKZs) popularity...
Its not big over here in the Mainstream media, but I know a lot the younger generation listen to it. so I imagine we will see more recognition from the Media over the coming years.
Bang Chan can be the most humble Leader of a Kpop group in the world. He founded Stray Kids himself, handpicked the members, he writrs, composes, arranges and produces most of their songs. The talent he has is insane, yet he gets shy while being complimented. Surely Bang Chan is the BEST out there.

Glad to see Australian TV recognised them as Aussie. Given 20 years ago they wouldn’t even get a cut on Australian TV be it calling them Aussie. I can tell you these boys have more fans than Guys Sebastian.

I watched this interview with my 70 year old mum and even she loved it. It was more like 3 friends hanging out than an interview. Sad Im not able to see Stray Kids this tour but so happy to see them back home (Australia).

I think it's because on UA-cam if u have swearing or graphic content up til a certain time in your video (I think it'd 1min) they restrict your videos so you need an adult account to watch. Maybe because they have a younger stays

Can I just say, amazing work done by the interviewer, she treated them as actual people and music artists with respect. She didn't try to diminish or laugh at their achievements which I've seen many interviewers do to Stray Kids and other K-Pop groups/artists in the past. Amazing interview, love these two

I really enjoyed watching this interview of Bang Chan and Felix. It's clear that a lot of great research went into preparing for it, and the duo seemed so happy and laid back throughout. I had a good laugh when Felix mentioned being scouted on Facebook as a teenager- it's like he didn't have any survival instincts back then! Them reminiscing about old Australian ads, especially "O'Brien" was a nostalgic touch. Fantastic interview overall!

For such a short interview, that was a really great one! Learned a lot more about their thoughts on being away from home. Also, they looked genuinely comfortable with her more than many other interviewers (probably bc she is an Aussie☺️). American interviewers always come off as trying to be too cool and it's obvious most of them are clueless to what Kpop even is, let alone knowing Stray Kids and their impact (Yes, I am a huge Stay!💞😂). So kudos to the interviewer for such a warm and comfortable interview with Chan & Felix!! (Was really nice to watch without feeling the cringe and embarrassment of American interviewers ~and yes I'm an American but always embarrassed by how uneducated these US interviewers are on the world of Kpop).

What I love about SKZ is how incredibly original they are. Diverse. Exciting. Magical. Entertaining. Each member is talented and authentic. Fingers crossed they come to Toronto next year. There are tons of Stays here. Gigantic fanbase......of all ages!! 😘😘
