i mean, hes about as casual as you can get, just pecking at the game here and there every few weeks, i cant get why or how people can get at him for how he plays, it makes no sense to me.
@@Laoruperteen18 some people expect everyone to play like a pro or something, believe me, I only use healers out of principal and that gets people angry (yes, my Barbara is my main dps)
100% agree. This game is too easy to be bothered with trying to min max every little thing. As someone that knows the ins and outs of this game and follows the theory crafting community it can definitely get a bit toxic from that side of the community. The only content in this game that even remotely requires a meta is the spiral abyss and even that can be completed by any character/team if you just put enough power into them.
yea just play as u wish. Ppl criticizes my char built all the time and I just ignore it. I benched my Bennett bc personally he is one of the worst support in the game, I have used other supports which got me thru abyss like super fast even without bennett and ppl hate me for it.. I do speedrun a new region or event due to my busy work schedule and may be absent in playing for a few days/weeks. I play other games too like Zelda, Valorant, MLBB, etc so important thing is to enjoy the game.
truuuu it's an ongoing game and it's easy to run out of content if you plow through it carelessly. taking your time is one of the most effective ways to continue enjoying a game like genshin.
Playing casually is fine, it's designed that way. As others have said, you do unfortunately miss out on events, some of which have really cool gameplay AND story content, but if you're okay with that trade off, that's all that matters. The only thing that I'd say (and I know others have said it) is that without a decent grasp of how to keep your characters, their talents, and their weapons leveled, the game will start to become increasingly difficult to the point of being obnoxious, and it won't be all that fun anymore. If you ever find yourself at that point, know that folks here would be glad to try and help you.

I play VERY casually. I've had the game since launch date, and apparently I'm very, very good at surviving and playing the long game when fighting enemies, because, according to my friends, I'm surviving off of "table scraps". I'm horrible with artifacts and building characters, and how I go out with them weekly to farm for good stuff, etc etc. I got stuck behind the very first Shogun fight for months because I couldn't beat her with my elements locked and just kept losing.
,,, I highly recommend to anyone that they take the time to properly understand how artifacts work and what works for whatever character, because I was very unaware for the longest time and just did my own thing and that majorly screwed me over lol
@@hopscotch1049 Honestly, not every character has to be built super well, and the main stats will probably get you by. I'd been using a Fischl on my team for months using two, three, and four star artifacts. Even halfway decent knowledge goes a long way.
The very last trailer you watched with all the harbingers won’t be much sense in terms of context until you complete the main inazuma quest, so once you’ve finished the main inazuma quest I would suggest re-watching it to get its full effect as you’ll understand more of the details. But it’s so nice to see you post Genshin content again. Hope you’re enjoying the game and take it at your own pace.

Just a heads up on the summertime odyssey event:
It is the big limited time event for the 2.8 version, dropping tonight. To access it, you need to complete both Mona's character quest and the main story quest "Autumn Winds, Scarlett Leaves". You are VERY close to that, so if you want to go to the beach with them, you'll need to do a bit more playing, two more main story quests. You also need to be Adventure Rank 32, which I beleive you are. Tbh, about 5 hours of doing quests and you should be able to access it.
Didnt they add a skip option that lets you play the event while not forcing you to complete quests
@@joshbrosh6626 not exactly, but the AR requirement for Mona's quest is going to be temporarily lowered and it has a "quick find" that set's it as active if you haven't caught up yet.
You don't need to do any of the side events they are just filler.
If you are a casual player you can skip them, and only do the archon quests
There are many games that exist outside of genshin

Wow- so refreshing to hear someone give some praise for the work mihoyo do.. for like 6 months all I hear is ppl complaining that there isn’t happening enough in the game… it’s almost shocking hearing someone not sh!t on them except for when big updates come around

@@line7596 I always wonder what other games they play to expect this huge amount of content. I know a lot of players want to get rid of resin or want some endless kind of spiral abyss but I doubt stuff like that will keep players entertaint for long.

Nobody expected Hoyoverse to drop a trailer revealing every single Fatui harbinger, but here it is. I like all of them, looking forward to seeing which ones are playable like Childe.
Honestly I don't see why it's a big deal to people how fast or slow you play the game. I'm kind of envious that you still haven't even reached Inazuma. There's so much content left for you that you never have to be worried about running out unless you ever decide to really double down on the game. It has to be nice knowing you can come back to this game whenever and just have a ton of content waiting.
Also that Harbinger trailer at the end is easily the most hyped I've ever been for this game aside from the 2.0 announcement trailer. I can't believe that they just gave us the other seven (8 since we never saw Dottore outside the manga and he looks WAY different) Harbingers just like that. Such an absolute treat.
The only real downside is missing out on events and all the fun mini games they release; Like I dont think Dees been able to do any of the instrument Events & I dont think he was far enough in the story to do the recent Xiao Event that added ALOT to Xiao & Zhonglis stories plus the story of Liyue as a whole

Diluc’s new outfit is the first 5 star outfit in the game, so he has a new idle animation and new effects in his gameplay which are really cool

@@hoverk3864 yep, every outfit that had released so far before diluc has been 4 star, Jean’s, Barbara’s, Keqing’s, Ningguang’s, and Fischl’s outfits are all 4 star outfits

From these last few, the harbingers one is definitely my favorite. Not only is it a huge reveal, it's also stylistically so different than anything before it and gives us an ever so tiny peek into the endgame.
The fatui trailer broke twitter soooooo fast. The amount of cosplays and fan arts already is ridiculous

I don't have the time to play each update that releases like I did at launch, but my excitement and love for this game has remained the same.
There is NOTHING legitimately forcing players to play this game all the time, and I love that.

Also as I side note Collei, the green haired girl, is in the official Genshin Manga. I'd definitely recommend reading it as it's an amazingly fun read that doesn't spoil anything to come as it's a prequal to the traveler's arrival. There sadly will likely not be a second Volume of the manga as it leaves off with the Traveler's arrival.
The last one made my entire week. It's just so impressive. We finally got all the designs of the Harbingers~! Its voice acting, music and overall vibe are really cinematic and epic.
It's actually a great way to play because genshin wasn't made to be played 10 hours a day, the right thing is for you to enjoy the game at your own pace and then the game will be even more fun

Anyway, you’re not wrong about Diluc’s skin giving DMC vibes. Mihoyo loves DMC (especially Vergil). I means.. how could they not ? after all, Honkai Impact was inspired by DMC and Bayonetta. hell, even many characters in both of their game have a lot of DMC character moveset.
As expected, the Fatui Harbinger's reveal became the cherry on top for this reaction video! We're approaching the turning point now, lads.
When Dee finally start the Sumeru archon quest, we finished the Fontaine journey and are waiting for Natlan release.
That last trailer made people go crazy because all of the Fatui Harbingers were revealed. It was a lore bomb that Mihoyo just dropped and it’s crazy.

Your approach to Genshin Impact right from that very first video, has been so wholesome. I don't know a better word for it. I very much enjoy your videos with it because you ARE so laid back and just have fun genuinely. Dendro element isn't new it has just been in the work in progress state for a long time and in 3.0 it'll finally get released.
The only character in the game that has teased us with a Dendro vision has been Baizhu.
I think it's great that you are watching the later cutscenes because most of them are no longer available to see in the game because they were only viewable and playable during a limited time event. So most people actually have to go back and watch the videos on youtube of the cutscenes to catch up on each characters story if they want to catch up on everything. The last teaser you watched at the end of the video is the most amazing teaser I have ever seen Genshin make and it made me so hyped for the end game of the storyline!! Thanks for all the amazing Genshin content!! I'm always looking forward to more Genshin videos and I'm so happy to see how much you are enjoying the content yourself.

If you want to see the story ingame, you have to keep up with the game, so you must reach certain requirements like Completeing the Inazuma Story abd you must atleast farm a little bit so that you can actually fight against Enemies (you dont have to optimize it to like 200% Crit Dmg or something)
Hello! I’ve seen a couple of your vids every now and then. It’s always refreshing to see the excitement coming from players who come back to the game every now and again. It’s a nice break from all the negativity surrounding the older players.
I respect your decision to stay casual in playing this game. Take it from a early player who’s been playing for almost the entirety of the time this game has been out. It’s very easy to burn out. However, I do like to point out that there are some event stories that are very relevant to the lore. I wish you’d be able to play or at least see them in cutscenes. Just something to keep in mind.
Either way, I hope you continue to enjoy this game the way you like!

Hey Deebee if you want some food for thought on Genshin Impact and really don't care about spoilers, i would recommend a reaction to "Game Theory: You're fighting the wrong person!" It might help get more hyped or look at the game in a different light.
I'd recommend reacting to the end part of the 2.8 Special Program (32 Minutes in) So good.
Hizou will be the 1st Male catalyst character, he has a Baton but he doesn't use it, unarmed martial arts is his style so all punches and kicks. I'd recommend doing Mona's story quest and Kazuha's archon quest done so u to can take part in the limited time summer fun events they look so good.

Of the new outfits, Fischl's is free if you participate in the Summer event and can be purchased later on if you missed it. Diluc's costs money.
you watched those cutscenes and, tbh, if you play regularly you will arrive at that moment in weeks, so you'll probably remember that so it will be a lot less exciting

Playing casually has always been what HYV wanted for Genshin. It's just that it blew up so much that it garnered so mcuh positive yet at same time negative publicity. So take your time and ignore haters. Play how you want to

since i dont have twitch, i hope your viewer would help you through the game. i myself dont have that powerful characters (too lazy to build them haha) but i still manage to get to what the game have to offer for now (still using mc as my main character for the sake of the stories btw 😂😂). you just need to level up the characters and their weapon to the needed levels to pass all of the stories tbh. and use the right weapon obviously. the most important thing is understand how the combat works (eg : you need pyro to break metachurls shield first to kill them easily). then you will have more fun experiencing the game. i really hope your viewers do help you out so that you can advance without much problems.

true only the limited events quests are easily missable if one hasn't played or don't want to play for more than a month/patch
I love your videos!! Btw in Genshin there is events have cutscenes, when the event end you can't see the cutscenes in game so you can watch them in UA-cam because you will not reach it in game .

I'm always happy to see genshin videos from you, but to be honest, i prefer gameplay videos instead of reaction videos since you won't be able to understand whats happening :(. Hopefully this will get you excited enough to make you continue the main story which is getting better and better

Playing casually is okay! I’m also really behind in the game but still love it nonetheless. Simply being that I don’t have enough time to play. Burnout is also easy to come if you grind your way through the game, so playing casually is good. The game was made to be somewhat like that anyways! Enjoy yourself at your own pace, that’s the most important.
