Basically. All the things you do advance the overarching storyline, even if it doesn't seem like it. Considering the events of Fontaine, I expect Natlan to begin shaping the endgame for the Teyvat chapter of Genshin's story. I feel like the game to continue beyond Teyvat, considering the popularity of the game and the fact that they extended Genshin's lifecycle from 6 years to 10.
its also important to note that this is true only after your encounter with your twin and the mindset develops after Sumeru Arc and their surrounding world quests (some might say after Inazuma Arc, but imo Inazuma is just a limbo which is absolutely fine in idea, sadly just like the traveler being in a confused state, the writer got confused themselves and fumbled the execution of Inazuma Arc), but ofc for most they probably only get that after Fontaine Arc
@@SpenzOT Remember what Dainslef said in Teyvat chapter storyline trailer, Natlan segment, "Rules of the war are woven in the womb: The victors shall burn bright, while losers must turn to ash. When God of war shares this secret with traveller because she had her reasons". It could be about war with Fatui or with Celestial or even Khaenri'ah. If this is true then it could be the start of the Endgame

@@MegaDuke4life - it's good tho. Before going into Fontaine, it's good to have a _meh_ opinion of Fontaine's Archon and anything associated with her. For the uninitiated, the story will develop more naturally that way.
@mijmijrm I guess I ain't get the true experience because I was entertained by Furinas smug gremlin role and her development going forward. Definitely the best written character in the game. Navia might be second best for me
Definitely. Initially I had a similar reaction to Dee, but version 4.2 changed that completely!
@@mijmijrm Furina being cryptic and somewhat unlikeable was intentional. When she first appeared, you either absolutely loved her, or you absolutely hated her. I am glad they did this, because it makes for a really good story. Hoyo cooked harder than Walter White in Fontaine.
Some characters like Navia and Furina are just ones that you have to play the game to understand why they're so incredibly beloved.
31:11 that's why Lyney uses a bow and not a catalyst, if he used a catalyst he wouldn't do real "magic" he would be casting spells, that's why he uses a bow he uses props in all his attacks

Traveler did not forget the reason of his journey ( finding the sibling , they mention it many times on the way ) , its just that he has to understand the truth of this world before that and going around whole world and learning about all the still that happened or is happening is part of that
The reason they spelled cameras wrong is because in genshin they are called kameras

Chiori is such a hilarious character, that you'll only get her passive buff if your character is "stylish". Developers really had fun with her.

Weird how the 4.4 trailer was not included in this list. Maybe Mark accidently missed it? It's definitely worth the watch. But no need to release a whole new video just for it though. Maybe wait until the 4.6 trailer comes out and watch both of them plus the new teaser and demo? Those should release in about 2 weeks.
i weirdly love how he sais that his not impresed with Furina as it is basically the point og the character:she feels weird at the start,not god like or even annoying,more like just a celebrity.
And then you reach the end of the archon quest and realise that she is arguably the bast archon in the game...
We don't want to spoil you about Furina, but once you finished the quest, it will all make sense I promise. Furina is one of the most loved character by fans.
Don't worry, Furina is a very interesting character and completely worth the title of Archon xD
29:09 technically yes? But there's an obstacle that we are trying to piece together that is very much in our way. So we're trying to figure out what caused it to happen that is the current arc.
Think of it like we "found" our sibling but not the way we expected, so the search continues under different parameters.
Wriothesley is an English surname, so there are silent/ignored letters. He's a pretty good ice-bridge. Navia is basically the clean version of a Mafioso.

Furina is definitely a fan favorite, both in the in-game world and in the real one. She's probably the best character in Genshin, tbh. I haven't seen any other trend as much as she has.

There is no doubt that in every way, Furina is the Best written character in all of Fontaine and DEFINITELY a fan favorite.
Perhaps you might've played the Fontaine Archon Quest with your eyes closed. "Furina is whatever" yeah, let's see what would have happened to Fontaine if Furina is really just a "whatever" and didn't exist and insignificant... I doubt Fontaine would even survive after 500 years.
I'm not even a Neuvillette hater; I actually like him. And I'm not against you if you like him better since that's your preference. But truth to be told, Neuvillette can't do shit about the prophecy. He doesn't even know how to solve it. Granted, he was the one to do the last part of "forgiving" Fontainians of their sins, but he wouldn't be able to do that without Furina/Focalors. I doubt he would even care about Fontaine if not for Furina's guidance for him to interact with humans.

our main goal is changed at this point! in order to find the sibling we have to travel all 7 nations(only 2 left atp)
29:07 the main plot has always been to find the travellers sibling. from the very start, our journey was established that we would seek out each of the seven archons to see if they knew anything regarding the sibling, khaenriah or the unknown god that separated you. but as we seek out each archon, we find that each nation has their own individual problems that we have to resolve first, which is why it might seem like the plot has completely deviated from finding the sibling.
I know u thought furina just a archon that doing theater but if players asking you to play it you'll know why they made her demo
As for Kaveh, hands down top 3 favorite trailers! Hoyoverse knew what they were doing with that shot!

I think Hoyo kind of abandoned the idea of having tanks in genshin because there's rly not point in having a prolonged fight in the game. Most challenges like the spiral abyss requires players to defeat mobs quickly. Shields help with not having your combo be interrupted meanwhile healers are now meta cuz of the fluctuating health mechanic
Neuvillette is actually a dragon sovereign, aka a type of dragon that is stronger than most gods.

You've missed so much if you didn't witness Fotaine's archon quest by yourself in game... it was THAT GOOD
he is not all that interested in genshin , hes just milking , i watched him play back then , he got bored of the game and quit , maybe hes running low on cash and decided to jump back into genshin since genshin is getting more and more popular recently
You’ve got to get back into Genshin😍 Neuvillette is back on wishing next week! And also I need you to play so you’ll love Furina. I wasn’t phased by her either but the story is incredible and then I accidentally pulled for her and she’s an incredible unit. Her kit is both damage dealing and healing- but an overall amazing character. I can’t wait to see you react to it❤️
Freminet absolutely IS a beast. He's VERY tanky if you build him right. He's a physical damage DPS. And boy howdy does he deal some DAMAGE

lets be honest most of the time travelers busy picking and delivering flowers and rocks to others and then every now and then we actually get quest that touches upon whats happening with sibling or what happened in past, its like they forcefeeding us junk food with ocasional vegetable

Mihoyo COOKED so much with fontaine design i really hope they didn't do too much & left some for natlan & snezhnaya 😅hopefully their design will only get better
Oh, they will. For Natlan we have a heavy mix of spanish/mexican styles, plus tribal motives from Africa and both from north and south America (hard to guess from what we saw, but natlan sounds like a tribal wild land) and for Snezhnaya we have slavic theme, mostly Imperial Russia. They can go SO HARD with these 2 regions.
They so upped the trailers, story and game itself during Fontaine, the jump was huge IMHO! Although, for me, exploration of Sumeru region was still the most fun 😊
P.S.: Noooo, Neuvillette is in no way villainous actually, but he is absolutely OP both within the story and in-game. He can easily be a one-man team that obliterates everything (except for Hydro slimes LOL). Wriothesley is actually pretty funny, even more so than cool.
nah genshin doesn't have the record for having the most characters,,, there are so many more gacha games out there with hundreds of playable ones,,,, genshin does have some of the most fleshed out playable characters out there tho imo,, most of the characters they have actually take part in the story and events and not just 3* fodder characters you see in most gachas

I have been playing since launch and it is still the main focus but there's hidden lore as well plus the underwater gameplay is only in Fontaine and a special weapon that you get through the side quest as well you have been missing out if you need help I don't mind giving you a hand oh and fun fact did you ever noticed that the travelers ability is a smaller version of the gods I am glad you are getting back into the franchise

I mean, demo wise, best demo, or one of the best, but her as an hydro archon, yea, not that impressive at the start. But if youre really wondering why youre unimpressed, start playing hydro/fontaine archon quest, you'll see why

I would also recommend to react to the event cutscene "The Two Musketeers" as it's one of the best but at this point isn't avaliable in game anymore.
