AD vote of confidence is the kiss of death. If he goes 5-7, he’s gone.

I literally used that same term. But we can only hope. But with no president there isn't anyone putting pressure on Stricklin. He is really the one that needs to be fired. His hires in all sports are terrible and full of scandals

Here's what's going to happen. FSU will lose to Charleston then next week beat UF. Several big donors will go apeshit.

@ This is the worst FSU team in 50 years. UF isn’t good but FSU is a whole new level of bad.

You guys should really start a live show so you are caught up on all the latest updates. The shows are great content, just very behind

Chalie Strong is a great example, unfortunately bringing Napier back is basically kicking the can down road.

Good Point by Will at the 19 minute mark. Barring a Natl Title appearance in 2025, there is no reason whatsoever to give Napier an extension regardless of the team's record.
Fla gave him a 7 year contract. 2025 is year 4, Even if they make the playoffs Fla needs to tell him "You've only had 1 winning season so far and you have 3 more seasons left on your contract. Play it out another year and well evaluate the possibility of an extension after the 2026 season".
What's he going to do? Quit after 2025 and not stay at UF making his already overpaid salary and not coach DJ Lagway for his JR year?
Also, in this scenario, there better be some plans in place for Lagways replacement, Right now only WGriffin is committed in the 26 class.

Will Miles, you're so right. I used to watch every Saturday looking for that one upset that would keep a team from winning a natty. Now I only watch teams I care about. I mean who cares if a team loses. Over time, everyone will realize this and just like college basketball, no one will watch the regular season. I mean during the COVID year in basketball, #1 vs #2 was cancelled. No one even knew. Because the game literally meant nothing. Both teams would make it into the playoffs. The SEC championship will mean nothing because both teams will make it into the playoffs. You'd be better off not risking your best players and definitely definitely definitely not showing your best plays because who cares if you win the championship, all you will be judged on will be who wins the playoffs. People just don't realize it yet. In several years from now people will slowly realize what you're talking about and no one will even care about the regular season. They will all wait till the playoffs and watch the teams then. You'll have a massive playoff audience but the regular season audience will be just diehards. And we will have lost the bowl system. Instead of having 13 weeks of must see TV, we'll have the playoffs. Everyone will understand why watch the regular season because if your team isn't good enough to make it into the playoffs they couldn't have won the playoffs anyway. And they'll start increasing the size of the playoffs. 16 teams will be next. And it will never stop. Just look at college basketball, they couldn't even stop at 64. How absurd is that?

Why is it that Florida is always creating Heisman candidates for opposition QBs?????😮
