On an episode of Kimmel in 2011 Mike Judge explained the origin of Boomhauer`s voice, Zach Galifianakis reacts and a clip is born.
I do not own the rights to this clip.

I don't think Mike Judge realised how funny this was until he had Zach Galifianakis wheezing with laughter
Of course he did - he created an entire character out of the guy!
as if that laughter wasn’t rehearsed. nothing feels genuine anymore
Mike Judge is a very reserved guy in interviews so that might just be why
That's not what he was talking about pam... job showing your stupidity
That hack (Zach) was attention seeking with that obnoxious fake laugh.
Mike judge is a genius. He lampooned my generation raw with beavis and butthead, king of the hill was amazing, idiocracy and office space are legendary.
I'm quite partial to Extract, myself.
Don't forget Silicon Valley! It's so on the nose, I'm rewatching it for like the third time.
And he hit small town Texas right on the head. It couldn't be more accurate. But what makes it so brilliant is that it's hilarious and satirical without being mean or snide. That's a rare kind of comedy and it's hard to pull off.
Can’t believe, he was former President Obama roommate tho😮
silicon valley was awesome too
Zach is laughing so hard even before the joke
Zach was high!
He is? What video did you watch?
@Seth Belfort Yeah. Just wondering how someone could say Zach was laughing "before" the "joke".
Yeah, it’s fucking annoying. He already got interviewed yet he laughs over mike judge the whole time he’s speaking. He should be able to be somewhat respectful to the other guests.
Kyle Russell you’re lonely
Mike's normal speaking voice smooth like butter, the easy slip into character, and Zach wheezing uncontrollably. And Jimmy just lets it roll out organically. Perfect.
other late night jimmy: talks over mike, repeats "porky's butthole" to try to get his own laugh out of it, tries to do his own boomhauer impression before mike is even finished doing boomhauer.
If you listen carefully, his smooth voice is a calmed down Butthead without the laughing...
Mike Judge is waaaay to under rated. He’s so talented.
Hell yeah, that "Tales From The Tour Bus" has become my favorite show of his. Even moreover than "KOTH". I wish they made more seasons.
Underrated? No, everyone knows Porky's Butthole.
All these people are white/racist
Bro this is big fax
@@xstatic-ow5mz elaborate?
Over a decade ago I had to train a guy in Arkansas on a new computer system. He sounded exactly like Boomhauer. Partway through one of his near unintelligible rants he very clearly said "man, I'm clickin' like a chicken". I still use that today when software freezes up.
My husband has to talk to truckers from all over the country. He said it's Arkansas too. Our adopted dog was transported here from an Arkansas shelter. She gets really worked up when my husband talks like Boomhauer.😂
That’s hilarious
I had tech support from a guy who sounds like that too. I couldn't understand a word
@@naturalnashuan I'm a trucker and sometimes when I go to Texas or the south, I can barely hear what people are saying on the CB radio sometimes because there's always large pockets of boomhauers on the radio in that part of the country.
Having I grew up in Central Arkansas, I can confirm that we do speak a fluent Boomhauer
I never gave King Of The Hill a chance until a year after it ended. It's now my favorite animated series of all time and I regret missing all 13 years of it. Thankfully they played it on Adult Swim. The biggest mystery is how would Dale have reacted if he found out about Nancy's affair and Joseph's real father. There are many theories, but no one really knows. A lot of people believe that Dale has always known and feigned ignorance, either because he doesn't want to be like Bill or because being a better and truer dad to Joseph is the ultimate revenge. The only thing that tells me that he really didn't know is that episode where he mistook John Redcorn for a burglar and knocked him out. Once he realized it was Redcorn, he legitimately felt terrible and did everything he could to make it up to him.
I didn't get into it when I was a kid growing up on the east coast, but when I turned 18 I decided to move to Oklahoma (which is similar enough to the Texas/New Mexico thing Mike Judge did with KOTH and BnB)
And the show really started to grow on me. It started to make sense. It's not really like HAHAHA type humor, but there's definitely some more subtle humor in there, some wholesome moments, and the characters feel like real people.
And I'm pretty sure Dale never consciously figured out the Redcorn Connection because his mind was actively protecting itself by ignoring the obvious. Somebody as paranoid and well armed as Dale would have absolutely 💯 gone after Redcorn if he believed there was some weirdness like that going on. He just refused to see it.
It really falls on his wife, she might be getting "massages" and working out her "migraines" but it doesn't seem to make her happy, it's just a pattern she got into, and that episode where she "accidently" sleeps with her own husband shows a lot. One of the dirty little secrets of human sexuality is that women want 2 types of man at the same time, a stable provider as a husband and a big beefy bull as a sperm donor. They've dug up old cemeteries in Europe and tested the DNA, something like 25 percent of the kids turned out to have the wrong dude listed as their dad.
I know Dale's obliviousness is kind of the joke, but if you want my fan theory, that's what it is. He knows the truth on a deep level but he won't allow those thoughts to come into the front of his mind... because if it did, a guy like him might snap and take out all 3 of them, the kid, the wife, and the boyfriend.
He does seem to legitimately care about Joseph
@@booqueefious2230 I'm kinda glad the show decided to keep Dale in the dark, because it keeps us wondering what he'd do. From the writer's perspective, they probably felt that it would change his character too much if he ever found out, or acknowledged it
Just how his character is written it’s the ultimate irony of how paranoid And he believes all these conspiracy yet could never connect the dots about his son and Nancy even though it’s blatantly obvious.
@@buttermellow6667 I always thought it was saying we all live in our own realities. So much that we can each deny things to ourselves that are obvious to others. I knew my ex was cheating, but I convinced myself it wasn't true for years.
He's dumb
He's not retarded. He knew
My uncle had a friend who had never seen the show that talked like him, he recently passed on. He was such a nice guy but you could never understand him.
dang 'ole.. rest in peace man.
That man was my uncle! Helluva guy. Quit school to go to work drilling oil. Went to Korea. Stated his own business. Was a fixture in the small town. Worked every day. Loved animals more than a lot of people. Always made sure my mother's family had food and shoes when they were still in school.
Yeah, I knew a guy in Louisiana for about 11 or 12 years that had those same speech patterns, and he was real tough to understand. Imagine the same kind of delivery but with a Cajun accent in there, too. Man, it was hard to figure out what he was saying a lot of times.
Dang ol' sittin next to God man...
I knew a guy from Ballymena who not only sounded like the Northern Ireland version of Boomhauer, he looked like him too! And yes, you couldn't understand him. You would have needed a Universal translator from Star Trek to understand him!!
I love Mike Judge's humor. Very understated and witty
This is why Mike Judge is such a comic genius. He can do so much with the everyday and mundane. Many would just make fun of the voicemail, few would base a whole character off it like that.
Mike Judge NEEDS to release that voice message.
With Cancel culture everywhere now....don't know if that would be a good call lol. Funny to see the evolution of cancel culture in this clip, going back to the porkys bunghole days.

Zach has the kind of laughter where you don't even need to know what he's laughing at, you just automatically laugh along.
Chabba
Nah that shit was annoying af. He was completely drowning out Mike Judge.
Actually it's the opposite, that laugh was never funny to begin with and neither is he.

Oh shut up
Do you know what underrated means
Why did it take me this long to realize that the show wasn't called Porkys Butthole.
We found the original Boomhauer 😳 the chosen one
Zak be laughin so hard he sound like a dentist's drill
I hate that drill but love this comment.🤣🤣🤣🤣
He sounded like a man being stretched on a torture rack
More like a dying horse that let out it's final cry for help!

I love how at the very end all you can hear is Zach’s wheeze trailing off as the screen fades to black. 😂
His normal voice is butthead
yup. and its so funny.
Not quite, but almost. When he said "that would all make sense now" at 0:37, it's spot on.
Whenever Zach laughs that hard he's living his best life.
I'd loved to hear that voice mail.
We had a dude in the ARMY who sounded identical to Boomhauer on the radio and it was hilarious to listen to.
1:20 my man is RED
I’ve spent over 200 minutes of my life watching this clip and it’s been worth every second … this is just hilarious to me … the story is great but Zach’s reacting to the story is everything 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mike Judge is a genius. Idiocracy was meant to be a satire and now its become a documentary.
Its crazy that movie isnt referenced or talked about much considering the state of the world.
@@erikcarrillo7378 thats a very interesting thing to think about...i am seriously as baffled as you as we CLEARLY have diminished down to Idiocracy currently

How original 👌
Seeing Boomhauer's voice coming out of an actual human being is something else 🤣
Mike Judge is great. He's hilarious without trying to make it into a joke
Yes 😂 and the best thing is he doesn't need to put curses in KOTH unlike Family Guy and other cartoons
His inspiration came from a real person. I keep telling people that my hometown has people talking like that all the time. It is hilarious!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've heard people talk that way around here too lol. Literally have no idea what they're saying
I've definitely heard it around here lol
Im from the Richardson/Garland area. Where "Arlen" is suppose to be. When that show came on I understood everything Boomhauer said and didn't think anything of it.
King of the Hill came out when I was in junior high. I thought it was boring and gave it no second thought. I found the show later in life and, folks, Hank Hill is my hero. I love that show.
I'm 34 and just now wanting to start it from the beginning. I've only ever seen an episode here and there. Never watched a full season.
It came out when I was 5. I watched one here and there but never found the appeal, and I usually just changed the channel until Simpsons came back on. Now I’m 30 and it make me HOWL.
Sometimes a "boring" or slow paced show is exactly what we need
@@PengwinTamer

You all do realize that the rest of us sound like Boomhauer to people who talk like Boomhauer? It was in an episode of KOTH and funny as hell.
I liked your comment but I don't sound like Boomhauer to anyone.
Huh?
@Cody Moe There was an episode of KOTH, in it, you saw things in first person through the eyes of Boomhauer. To him, all his buddies sound like "yalldaggonman...datolHankHillman...daggontellyouwhat". But when his family talk to each other, they sound "perrfectly normal and sloowwww talking."

@@thatguy3968 Yes! Love it!!
Calling a TV show “Porky’s Butthole” is probably the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.
Zach Galifianakis cracking up next to him makes this 100 times better
The main reason i used to watch King of the Hill was for the 10 seconds of Boomhauer rant once a show.
I moved to Florida from Ohio in 1980, following my parents who had moved here three years earlier. There's a fellow from another southern state who still lives in their old neighborhood who had such a thick southern accent that I could barely understand him, almost a Boomhauer. After all these years, either through me becoming accustomed to his and other southern accents, his accent being influenced by the huge number of northerners here, or probably a combination of both, I understand him perfectly.
I had an uncle that sounded EXACTLY like Boomhauer.
Zach gets a big laugh from that well-timed tag on Judge’s story, and then gives Judge an even bigger laugh when he continues. Dang ol’ class act of a comedian right there.
I love it when Zach Galifianakis loses his grip on his laughter for real.
Worked with a guy who talked exactly like Boomhauer, and at first I couldn’t understand a single thing he said. Then after meeting him a few times, it just clicked, and I felt like I learnt a new language.
When you make Zak bust up laughing you are hillarious.
Galifinakis’s whistle made this 8/10 segment a solid 10/10 for me
i love zachs wheeze at the end
This is genuinely one of the funniest videos I have ever seen
King of the hill is so underrated. I used to watch it as a kid but never disliked it but being young I didn't get the adult jokes. I rewatched it all in 2018. Love it
Never realized how he looks like a top version of Joseph Gordon Levitt lol
Zack’s delivery is so spot on.
Mike Judge make a King of the Hill movie. Yes, please. I hope it is in Theaters and everyone can watch it.
I really want a KOTH movie. Love that show
Luann and Lucky are dead.
They're receiving the series
Mike Judge represents the way I picture Bill as a real person
Not even ten seconds in, and I instantly recognize him by his laugh
Don't even realize the impact these shows have on you until years later...
Where ever he is, I would like to thank that "deranged hillbilly guy" for inspiring the voice of one of my favorite characters ever.
I don't even know how anyone can make their voice do that. Mad props to this man.
I keep coming back to this video every now and then over the years. Still hilarious! It’s strange though that this one has only been on UA-cam for 3 years. There must be another one on a different channel.
YOU BROKE ZACH THATS AMAZING
When Mike Judge talks all I hear is butthead lmfao
Can someone please make a 10 hour loop of Zach laughing
Idk what's funnier, Zach's teapot laugh or Mike trying to tell the story

Zach Galifinakis has the absolute best laugh ever
It's nice to see Mike getting fame for all his talent. Zack is killing me. Turning red from laughing so hard. The audience and myself are just laughing so hard at Zacks reaction. I have to watch it again lol
I wish you had posted the whole interview.
I cant believe that show is coming back
Gawd Zach are you sure you are getting enough camara time?! Lord stop the ridiculous forced laughter with wheezing
This is one of the funniest clips on youtube and Im not kidding haha I watch it every time I need a laugh.
Bruh that pink bar at the end made me thing my brand new phone had a dying screen
When he launches into the impression it's like hearing the sputter and whine of a turbocharged car taking off
zach's wheezing gives me life
I didn't know he was the voice but wow....HE IS HOT!
Zach is wheezing in the fade-out😂😂😂
My mother went to Baylor University in Texas, where she knew this one girl who talked just like Boomhauer.
I have seen this like 5 times, and only to hear Zach laugh. Zach was born and raised in North Carolina so he gets this "Southern Observational Comedy".It's not just a laugh but an instant moment of bonding between two guys that know, life in the South and why some mundane things are just hilirious!
I love the Arianna Grande high note Zach hits as the clip fades.
man exists: WHEEZE
Mike just telling the story as Zach is dying is so funny
“Unkah Hank, are we going to be
mahr-durrd?”
Imagine being the guy that inspired boomhauer's voice
The legend himself behind the voice!
Mike Judge is quietly the most talented and funny guy in Hollywood
I could not agree with you more!!!!
I love Zach’s tea kettle laugh 😂
Mike Judge, writer/director of 'Idiocracy' and part-time prophet.
Probably one of the funniest moments on late night interviews I am just now seeing. I’m right there with ya Zach
The guy bedside him wheezing the whole time is the best part 😄
He looks so different than he did in Spy Kids 2
These 2 have some phenomenal chemistry.
Zach's laugh was all of us.
Tales from the Tour Bus is an underrated work from Mike Judge, especially the series on Funk artists.
Hes so naturally funny man
Mike judge sounds like a mix between Johnny Depp and Johnny knoxvilles voices.
Zak Galifinalis being there was a pleasant surprise 🤣
Zak's laugh though. Jeez man, when is the noise gonna come out? He's all wheeze.
I'd be honored to become a character. This was damn hilarious.
From Chotchkie's manager manager to super famous producer.
That is the funniest video I have ever watched by far!!!!!
I pissed my pants!!!!!!!!!!
Fucking hell, I had forgotten about the whole "Porky's Butthole" thing! I almost choked on the Skittles I was eating when Mike said it cause it caught me so off guard,
Zach Galafanikis' reaction is priceless.
Zack is lucky for finishing that drink of water before the shoe dropped
Mike judge needs to consider on bringing back those iconics original beavis and butthead in 2022
I'll never forget a kid getting mad at me for laughing at the way he talked. He was a black kid and he sounded like Mike Tyson and that little black lady in the movie Police Academy if they had a baby. I could not stop hysterically laughing every time he started to talk, to the point other kids and the teacher were either laughing with me or getting as mad as the kid was. I had to go to the bathroom to calm myself, but as soon as I heard his voice when I got back, I laughed so hard I cried. It was a magical experience
That guy is probably traumatized for life.
