This is such an underrated song and as someone who knows every song with The Weeknd, whether it is by him or he is featured, it is one of my personal favorites
He's such an extraordinary singer.
I first discovered him by the song, 'Pray For Me.' and suddenly he became one of my favourite singers.

I think this video is about a girl being fascinated/enticed into a dark world of partying, the forbidden, etc.. and coming out of it traumatized/ruined.. the video touches on the fact that what traumatizes us is often what we remember most. what thrills us, is what terrifies us. It's the loss of control/familiarity.. these are the things that often mark our memory. Basically the singer/author of this song wants to "break" whomever enters his world... make it memorable for him (by letting him exploit her: you see a room of what appears to be prostitutes and a pimp, a girl bent over backwards and "broken," main girl being photographed as she is crying), the way he knows it will be memorable for her. The girl reflected from wiz's sunglasses, running away at the end of the video is probably a memory.. of some girl running for her life, out of terror. (you can read between the lines).
