Patrick Doyle's score for Thor is one of my favourites of all time. It's so bombastic, dramatic and heroic. Perfect for the character. In my opinion THE best Marvel movie score (followed by Alan Silvestri's score for the first Cap).
The first Thor movie will always be the best and my personal favourite. Because the first movie showed the world of the 9 realms in marvel’s universe perfectly, and this is Thor at his best. Kenneth Branagh had the right idea when writing this character and in directing this movie. And damn he is an excellent director.
I love the third version the most musically, it just fills me with hope and sounds very dramatic. The male choir at 3:45 is like the gods themselves are singing to Thor's glory. 4:05 and 4:21 sound so rousing as well as 4:36. Almost reminiscent of Doyle's score from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
yash nayak wrong, he is worthy due to his complex understanding that life should go on which is the opposite to that of ultron. He is without fault as he doesn't have human faults such as greed, deception or anger. As he has no bad aspects to his personality he is worthy
Have a LITTLE shame. The frustrating thing about Thor is how much better it could have been. The screenwriters, when writing dialogue, were aiming at Shakespeare and missed badly; the production design made Asgard look like a New Age gift shop; and the climactic scene -- Thor battling the Destroyer -- telescoped four story elements into a much-too-short sequence: self-sacrifice -- the man out of time, or the doofus, revealed as a king; the hero arming for battle; and the boss fight, all in what, three minutes? No time for the audience to process these huge events.
6:34 to the end might have been one of the most epic things I've heard in my life. O.o Truly amazing. They were all great but the last one was my favorite.
Thor is my all time favorite superhero movie! He's my favorite male hero from marvel :D he's the best! But in the movie's music made the whole story move like, it fit really well with the whole story & I really hope that the same music can be in most scenes in the 2nd movie :) yea I am a huge movie geek xD
Seriously awesome theme! Didn't they pretty much abandon it until the final moments of Thor 3? Seem to recall Thor 2's score being a dud, when what's needed is continuity in a hero's theme

I rank them Cap I then Thor I.
Patrick Doyle is the only one who's capable of giving that extra layer of epicness and passion.
DC’s Hans Zimmer : Well well😎
And a fV(kton of percussion, appropriate for the God of Thunder.
@@cluelessincalifornia9134 Thor is noble, which we can't really relate to; Cap is decent. I am Team Cap all the way.
This is the perfect music where that scene where Thor rises again in his godly glory, and you just want to shout: *He's back.*
He's back! Loki: Oh shi--- :P

Used King Lear, the struggle between siblings for a regal father's love, as his framework. First character in the MCU to sacrifice himself, also.
I think this is the best an most powerful song of the whole movie! My absolute favourite!
Lucarius1 Yeah, i feel somehow empowering everitime i hear this song it give me peace, it is so deep.
The final version should be in Love and Thunder, considering Jane and Thor will both be heroes in it. Would be a nice way to harken back to Thor 1.
Sad we somehow ended up with more Guns&Roses, not this majestic tune.

Add the humming of the gods to the movie version of Thor kills the destroyer and you have the perfect theme for THE MIGHTY THOR
Missing this majestic Thor!
Feeling robbed and deprived after seeing Thor 4!
Thor is the most underrated MCU movie
This is a treasure from Odin's Vault!!! Thanks for the upload!!!!
i didn't even know there were different versions of this till now
I love this. The first is my favorite though. I've always been a fan of music in movies. I feel like it tells a story outside of the story. Awesome!
Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor
sake Kuipers One question, how come Vision didnt receive Thor's power?
+Big Fat Whale because he possesses the Mind Stone, he's an android, and not disabled in anyway, like the comic book Thor.
yash nayak wrong, he is worthy due to his complex understanding that life should go on which is the opposite to that of ultron. He is without fault as he doesn't have human faults such as greed, deception or anger. As he has no bad aspects to his personality he is worthy
@yash nayak His worthy come from the mind stone
@@adriannaoki Is the mind stone makes him can hold Thor's hammer
i have no shame admitting i cried watching the end sequence .........the music just took me to another level........AMAZING

The last version is AMAAAZING!!!
The last version is damn SO good. Heavenly music is heavenly.
True that's why it's used in the revive scene
The film version was actually pitched higher for the credits
The movie version ( 4th) is just iconic!!
magnificent soundtrack, you feel like thor flying to heaven when listening that music, ;)
I love the first and the last version. Thank you very much!
6:34 to the end might have been one of the most epic things I've heard in my life. O.o Truly amazing. They were all great but the last one was my favorite.
When the hammer vibrated and burst off I tripped. When it streaked and landed into Thor's hand and a massive lightning came down, I died
Have a glorious Thor's Day everyone. Long live the legacy of the God of Thunder!!
Best music!

I'm so pissed that this awesome film gets so much backlash for no fucking reason.
Some people underestimate the og thor movie
@@greenthundergamer825 Since they got used to the Goofy Thor we have now
Oh, I love it! Thanks!
Love the music!
one word: AWESOME
EPIC!!
Thor is probably one of the most underrated Marvel movies, same for it's soundtrack.
The movie version is the best👍💪
I like all soundtrack that was composed by Patrick Doyle its very nice to hear for sound trip.
I love Thor 😄❤️⚡💪🏻
Seriously awesome theme! Didn't they pretty much abandon it until the final moments of Thor 3? Seem to recall Thor 2's score being a dud, when what's needed is continuity in a hero's theme
Waiittttttt, they used the forth version in the movie! Why didn't they put it in the soundtrack album???
Imagine this playing during
*SPOILER*
Cap's fight with Thanos
"Yeeesss!!!"
-Thor
Last one is the best
The last version was used in the movie
High Glory to Thor
Sehr schön!
Jane: Oh ... my ... god!
Dumbest line in the MCU
For Asgard 🌈For Midgard🌎Mjornir ⚒🌩
Thanks!
This theme suits on a king more than a god
God, I wish they played this for Thor's arrival in Wakanda in Infinity War
6:00 mark- BRING ME THANOS!
1st version is the best :D i believe 2nd version is actually used when thor is to be chosen as king :) but gets interrupted!
Excelente sonora 👌🌅👏👏
Imagine when Lord Ram killing ravana in the final war of Lanka , this song fits lord ram very well!!!!!
We in the US really do need the Mahabharata translated (image, not just language) into an epic series.
All of them are awesome, but none beat the final/movie version
I think that the 1st one is the best.
regain his strenght from the ashes like a phoenix bird
Version 3 is my favorite, even over the film version
Almost reminds me of the re-entry and splashdown score from Apollo 13 in a few spots
1:57 💙
I think all men want to have a moment in their lives worthy of this music; I know I do.
27 jotuns disliked this video cuz they got rekt after listening this 😂
3:29 to 5:03 is my favorite version.
Thor: yeah!!!!
Jane: oh..my..God
Me: this never gets old
This is what I'll play the next time I face a bigger bully with my hammer
Aeterna Glory ¡ Thank you
Isn't the second version from when they show the city in the first movie?
No, it's different than that.
Better than RagnaShit's score.
The Soundtrack Edit Man

Where did you get the other versions from?
Is it just me, or the 2nd and 3rd versions are the same?
Thor reaching 100 power in Marvel Snap after using Wong and Odin!
are you my twin O.O
God of Thunder
I like juggernaut and wolverine
The pitch is about 5% off.
The file used for this vid ws streamed by FSM courtesy of Patrick Doyle. I made no adjustments to pitch, tempo, or anything else.
SGTBizarro Patrick Doyle personally shared this with you? Kudos to you -- that's most impressive!
***** He said: "streamed by [Film Score Monthly] courtesy of Patrick Doyle".
Not "Patrick Doyle personally shared this with me".
Reading helps.
It is a hammer a freakin hammer could done like sword dagger gow jc a hammer ok
