Great project.! I’m about to do the same, take a beautiful made old riser and put some new fast limbs on. Love the "Wife tips" You really understand the trials about archery... Hälsningar från Stockholms Bågjägare!
Nice bow. I like that you personalize all your equipment and you always do a great job. That Dryad riser has very little deflex, almost flat. Not a good idea for big recurves but great for a longbow. Looks like the Mohawk is a 19" riser so going to the 17" Dryad lost you the 2" bow length not removing the extra limb butt. Border are selling off a few risers at discount at the moment, I picked up a 19" Covert Hunter but a few are ILF. Would be quite funny using Morrison limbs on it though haha.
That was a brilliant video well done 👍 very interesting I have a mandarin duck with longbow limbs I am going to look for some carbon fibre longbow limbs and see if I can't copy what you dead. Thank you very much. 👍🏹🏹
Jeg sladrer! :D Fin Video Peter. Min største frygt er, når jeg engang dør, at min hustru sælger mine buer for den pris, jeg har sagt jeg har givet for dem!
Love it, it's great to feel you have rescued a bow, you could have sold the limbs and riser, but where is the fun 8n that? And it looks and shoots fine. Great vid
Hi Pete. I have a 21” riser and a friend gave me 68” limbs after I damaged my shorter limbs. Is it safe to use this mix with great discrepancy in length meantime?
It’s difficult for me to say what is safe or not. I’ll only recommend doing something like this with caution and of course at ones own risk. But it should be possible.
Om end det liiiige var som lyden af en gaffel i en tallerken...sløv hobbykniv i flamingo...negle på tavle - i overført betydning, da du skar i benene, så ligner det da et fuldstændigt forrygende resultat👍👍👍
Hey Peter, I have a question. My fieldpoints that I practice with are 150 gr and the broadhead that I would like to hunt with are 145 gr. Does that make a big difference if I only shoot up to 15 meters? Btw love ur vids and keep up the good work.
Thats the way you do it my friend and the bow looks nice
I did the same thing!!! Bought mohawk hybrid limbs on sale and modified the blackhunter 15 inch riser to fit the limbs!!! Great video!!!!

Thank you
As usual a very nice video. Awsome bow 👍
Thanks!
What kind of paint do you use on the limbs?
It’s name is Luxi and it’s a spray paint for indoor and outdoor use, very flexible on stretch too

Great shooting beautiful bow Peter, I need to get lighter limbs for my Assenhiemir recurve, their 63# at 28in now, to much for me anymore

Really enjoyed this Video, how did the Tiller measurements work out after the modification and how much did the poundage change?
The tiller was right on! And it gave a pound or two, because the riser is a 17” and the Mohawk is a 19”
@@peterjuulsgaard Thanks Peter, super quick reply 👍
Good Job 🏹
Thanks
Sejt gjort!
Tak Klaes!
Purty slick, Peter. But if you keep bringing in the grrocerys with your shooting the wife wouldn't complain too much anyway. Beautiful bow.
Haha
Great project Peter, don’t get more hybrid than that🤠
You can't have enough bows or knives 👍😉😎👌
And a good way to avoid trouble with your wife!
Happy hunting 🙋
Haha Thanks!

Bonito el bow!! Distancia de la diana?
¡Gracias! la distancia es de aprox. 16 metros

No that will not make a difference! Not in my world. Most of this stuff is Only in our heads
@@peterjuulsgaard OK thanks for the reply
Normally it takes around 50 grain to change spine number on a shaft, so 5 grains is not much
Hoo nicesot
I wont tell your wife, but great job
Thanks😉
