  • Video covers use of Peugeot's Cruise Control that has been used on multiple models over the years. The video was done with Peugeot 5008. It should be applicable to others like Rifter, Partner Tepee, Toyota Proace, Peugeot 208, 2008, 308, 3008, and others.
At a high level, the steps are:
    1) Turn cruise control or speed limiter on by moving the wheel button down (Cruise) or up (Limiter).
    2) Set cruise / limit speed with buttons at the back of the controller. The first press sets the value to the current speed. Then you can increase (upper button) or decrease (lower button).
    3) Pausing and resuming is done with the "pause" button on the left side of the controller.

I wish this system was used by Citroen, it's way easier.

Thank you for commenting. And what do you find worse on Citroen?

@@kookoo111222 Generally, apart from load space, I find the Citroen C4 III to be far superior to my Peugeot 307SW but it is 14 years younger so that is to be expected. The Adaptive Cruise Control on the Citroen though is frustrating. It does what it is supposed to do but although it reduces speed very well behind other cars, it is very slow to regain speed when traffic speeds up again. It will continue to drop to sometimes 4mph (6.4km/h) below external traffic speed before going back to the set speed. The problem being that you can't switch off the 'Adaptive' function and use a basic control like the Peugeot setup. In my 307SW, I used the CC just like the accelerator pedal by touching the + and - button on the back, as necessary.
