Awesome story. As an ex-elite gymnast turned climber, I can definitely relate to Anna. Climbing has no rules and the rock never moves! Well done with the send!
Apart from the general awesomeness of the story, may I just thank you for mentioning ADHD and climbing - as someone recently come to bouldering I hadn't yet made that connection, but as soon as I heard your comment it just made so much sense to me.
Great battle Anna, and so glad you managed to send! Injuries suck, I think everyone that climbs, and watches this will sympathise - you have had more than your fair share! All the best
Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me. Anna's story and personality have inspired me so much. Not only to tell a beautiful story but also for myself to deal with my own injuries on repeat.
@@pimshaitosa5924 Youre welcome, and thank you for the great work! I would say if I had any critical feedback.... always more uninterrupted climbing! Other than that, this was an A+!!! And seriously, this is one of the most emotionally touching climbing stories I've watched. Not sure if it's the subject, your direction, or both. Either way it turned out wonderfully.
@@Mdjagg thank you so much. Hehe it's difficult to fit everything in a 10 minute slot. I could've made an hour long movie about Anna. Her mindset is astonishing and her personality very unique. But I had to cut down on so many things that I wanted to bring forwards. Thank you so much for the kind words. I will take it to heart and to my next projects as well. :)
Listening to her talk about injuries while climbing on the ladder like that was scary for me And how do you get a QuickDraw through a finger? Fall when clipping? I have never seen that one before
Fuck me thats some sick as climbing! Been following Anna on Instagram and cant be happier for her to finally send that route. Great story and well put together video, thanks!
Those Red River Gorge screen grabs looked amazing 😳 Now I’m about to look for footage of her killin it out in the hills on Kentucky Edit: I really admire her determination and self discipline. Mentally tough. Anyone know how to spell that word she said was synonymous with overcoming?

Same as Anna: climbing gave me a little more... "purpose" :)
I just watched this with my daughter who is 10 and a gymnast. It was so inspiring for us. Thank you for helping little girls dream big.
