Bro...I'm so SOOO happy I took the day off today. You literally made this the best day off ever. Thank you for EVERYTHING you do...the time and effort is insane, and if you didn't love doing this, you wouldn't be doing this. I hope you level up to over 1 million subscribers soon, and can make enough to do this full time to sustain your family and yourself comfortably. Thank you for sharing your passion and dreams with us.
Just finished the video finally, when I wrote my comment, that was at the beginning of it, knowing what you must have went through...did you throw a controller at the wall trying to get thr staff of reflection hahahaha, thank you to your wife and puppers. I watched this simultaneously as I played the moble version which is the snes updated one with the personality options too, which adds to the depth, but there is just something about the original witch is soooo much better and more charming. You have a life long subscriber here..I'll help you to add views and subscribers whenever I can I recommend you. No 90s kid or modern rpg player will be complete without you sir! Never change and when you feel your most frustration..please always remember the joy you are bringing into the world with all you do!
The most dreadful of all poltergeists. Behold: BOOB! 😂😊 Your work on all of your videos is absolutely splendid and I wish you continues success, UCBVG. This is some of the most enjoyable content I watch these days and always look forward to the detailed analyses on these gaming classics!
Congratulations on clearing the 100th game for the channel! The breakdown of you give for everything the first time is god-tier work! I hope success continue to head your way!
Congratulations on 100 completed games! Finally finished watching this; wanted to save it for a lazy Sunday. As always, you give enough running jokes and technical insight to make something potentially boring (like grinding) into pure entertainment. Long games, short games, whichever you can put out, we'll be here! Also, special thanks to all of your assistants for making this possible.
This by far was a big undertaking considering I didn't even realize this was the 100th game to tackle, so I can see why this was the game to make the 100th completed game. The amount of detail that you put over the near 12 hours and 3 part guide is by far the best video or online guide that I have ever seen, which is understandable why this took nearly a month of work to undertake. All this to say, I have followed this channel since pretty early on your existence thanks largely to karmajolt more than a year and a half ago from Castlevainia, and to see the evolution of this channel from there to now is something to behold because early on, it was simple yet easy games to cover, but to what has now evolved into much more today. Honestly can't wait when Dragon Warrior/Quest 4 is covered in the future to see how much more evolved this channel becomes. Anyhow congratulations on completing your 100th game with this mammoth undertaking, and continued success to your next 100, because I'll be here for that undertaking when you get there in a year or so 😉💖👍
I've only been following for a couple months, but I've watched so many of your videos, UCBVG. Most of the games are ones I've already played/beaten back when, but your content is just so good that I can't but be compelled to watch. I don't know how many times I've watched your Shadowgate/Macventure videos because I'm such a fan of those games in particular. Anyway, I know we're a month into 2024, but I just wanted to wish you continued success! This series on DQIII is MASSIVE! I hope you're proud of the work you've put in, friend.
Dude. I still can't believe you took on this game. This was absolutely incredible. DQ3 was easily my favorite of the OG DQ games. Still have my copy. Thank you for all of the effort you (and your wife) put into this!!
I found that putting the hero in the last spot in the formation helps alot. His higher DEF and HPs helps overcome the inability to use the parry/attack.
I agree, especially towards the end of the game when so many enemies use Magic or Breath attacks, having high HP and some armor pieces that reduce magic damage make the Hero especially good in the last slot. The only one better is a high level Soldier that was converted from a spell casting class and is wearing the Hades Armor which reduces magic damage by 75%.
@@UCanBeatVideoGames I always started with a Wizard and converted to a Soldier so he can Bikill himself. Early game, leaned on the poison needle for physical attacks and especially hunting metal slimes to get enough levels to cast Bikill, then swap out for Soldier to equip the big equipment. Since Fighter falls off, she gets turned into the Sage so the phenomenal AGI score means my healer always goes first for panic-healing.
Wild that you did this project. I am consistently impressed at how fresh your commentary stays despite having to almost constantly speak over hours of gameplay. I know you just finished a long RPG, but I’d like to make a suggestion - Shining Force and Shining Force 2 for the Genesis. There are tons of secret items and characters in those games and a lot to dissect, which seems right up your alley.
I would absolutely love to watch UCBVG do both of those two games. Those are some of my favorite games ever, especially SF2, which I go back and play through every couple years.
Baramos Bomus and Baramos Gonus are actually the dead remains of Baramos separated into a pile of meat and a pile of bones, then raised as undead by Zoma. That's pretty wicked and a little rad, actually!
I always interpreted it as his "ghost" and his "body," both having been forced by Zoma into one last-ditch effort to stop the hero. Your way is certainly more evil, and fitting for the archfiend, haha. Either way, it's a great piece of dialogue-free storytelling.
Zoma and the Dragonlord are still my favorite, sentient BBEGs from video games. The Dragonlord is said to be cunning and all that, sure, fine, whatever. But when you meet him, he actually tries to get you to submit to him! That's wild! And ot enforces all the stuff everyone in the game said about him: amazing little detail they threw in, even if it is so simple as a yes/no instant death. Zoma is powerful and alien, and he controls all the baddies in 2 different dimensions with the power of his will! That's insane to try and think about, but more than that, is how he actually feeds off the pain and despair he inflicts on those dimensions. Not some Ancient Magic, or Evil Artifact or anything, that's just how he works! He understands what can hurt him, and he eliminates it from being able to be used against him (breaking the original Sword of Kings) and sure, the Orb of Light is debilitating to him as well, but that's not a thing that he can interact with, or even really know because it is from a different plane of existence. They did so much storytelling without actually just smacking the players with a text wall like more modern games do.
The Epic journey continues. Been enjoying the playthrough. Hard to believe in first game you had to walk everywhere. When they introduced the ship you realize how massive these world's were in the 1980's.
I just want to express my gratitude for the incredible content that you put out. Your dedication and hard work are truly remarkable, and it shows in the quality of your content. Your videos are not only informative, but they are also engaging and entertaining. I appreciate the time and effort that you put into each video, as well as your friendly and approachable demeanor. It is clear that you are passionate about what you do, and it really shines through in your work. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. Your channel has undoubtedly helped many people (like me) improve their skills and knowledge about old school games, and I am grateful for the impact that you have made. Please keep up the fantastic work, and I look forward to watching more of your content in the future.
Congrats on 100 games here! BTW, I dunno if anyone else puts the closed captioning on, but I'm highly amused by you sailing to Olive Garden! 😁😁 ( 12:31 and on 🤣🤣🤣)
Over the past 25 years, I have always enjoyed talking with other people about this game - especially hearing how everyone pronounces the names of the towns differently! XD
Thank you so much for recognizing all of us that look up from our projects to see a game that looks really cool AND HAVING IDEA WHAT GAME IS so we have to rewind the video! Make this a regular feature fellas, or at least leave the game name on the screen while you talk about it. You guys are awesome
That ending hits me in the gut everytime. I absolutely love this game! I've been a fan of Dragon Quest since the first and your guide didn't disappoint. Very well done. Thank you for the adventure!
Congratulations! I have been watching this channel since the beginning and I can't thank you and your wife (in this instance) for all of the incredible content you have produced. I have shared your content not only with my wife, but friends and family as well. I look forward to watching you for years to come.
This was for many years my favorite game in the series. It's been overtaken by Dragon Quest XI, but I do still love it. Thank you for this incredibly comprehensive guide to a great game.
The spell that goes off when using the Sword of Kings as an item in battle is Infermost, not Firevolt. Thor's Sword (a rare drop from certain monsters) is the one that casts Firevolt.
Ahhh, this was so fun to alternately watch and listen to as I went about my day. Just want to say, I never knew about the Silver Harp trick or the little easter egg if you show that old man the Magic Key. So neat! And you really went above and beyond with all of that endgame content, wow! Thank you for continuing to be one of the best channels out there!
Interesting note, if you confuse an enemy and it strikes a metal babble, at least on the switch version, it isn't reduced to 1 damage, so the bears can actually one-shot the metal babbles. Can be done on first turn if you're fast and lucky enough.
It’s astounding how much detail you go into, really appreciate it. I actually enjoy how you repeat crucial info multiple times, it can seem redundant but it’s important.
Whaaaaaaat a mid-week upload? UCBVG, you *spoil* us! All jokes aside, thank you for doing this. This is the game that got me into the Dragon Quest series, and so I enormously appreciate seeing it explored, explained, and done justice.
Hello You Can Beat Video Games, thank you 🙏 for awesome content! The best retro gaming channel with tips guides and strategic advice in how to beat notorious Nintendo games!
So I've been picking away at this video (and the last 2) a little at a time, an hour here, a half hour there, and so am just now seeing this final video through to conclusion, six days after it was uploaded. This was a fantastic walkthrough and, as I commented on the first video of yours I ever watched on this channel, this is probably the most thorough, comprehensive video of this nature I've ever seen on this game. Dragon Warrior 3 is my favorite of the DW games and one of my favorite rpgs of all time. This channel is fantastic and you should have a million subscribers for the quality of content you put out and how well researched this walkthrough was.
I played this game so much as a kid, too. I didn't know about Final Fantasy; I knew about Dragon Warrior. One of my family friends played a lot of video games and he'd let me borrow them after he beat them. He had the Dragon Warrior games and I really enjoyed Dragon Warrior 2 and 3. I was very happy to find a game where even if I got stuck, I could still level and both games had a lot of help so you didn't get stuck that often. I definitely followed the guides strictly, though. The first party I beat the game with was the recommended party of Hero/Soldier/Pilgrim/Wizard with the Wizard converted into a sage. On my subsequent playthrough, I did Hero/Soldier/Pilgrim->Sage/Wizard->Pilgrim. I did try converting the casters to soldiers later so I'd have Hero/Soldier/Pilgrim->Sage->Soldier/Wizard->Pilgrim->Soldier, but I generally preferred not converting them to Soldiers. Once I was pretty experienced with the game, I'd do a bit more varied parties like Hero/Fighter/Fighter/Pilgrim->Sage or Hero/Fighter/Pilgrim->Sage/Wizard->Pilgrim and sometimes I'd convert the Fighter to a Soldier so I'd have a Soldier with agility. If I knew how the drop tables worked, I probably would've farmed strength, agility, and luck to 255 via seeds for the whole party, too.
Oh man im SO happy this is out!! Ive been craving the rest of this walkthrough, it reminds me of the days spent watching an older sibling/cousin play through classic rpgs. Thank you SO much for continuing this until the end, its a LONG game so I cant even begin to imagine the time it takes to put this together. Your are a youtube hero. This channel means a lot to me.
What a joy this was to watch all the way through. You do such a great job of filling air space. It was funny to hear you at the very end of the credits just give everything room and add little silences. Bravo. I kept thinking of all the behind-the-scenes work this must have taken to put together. I reckon I am only imagining part of it! Congratulations on the success!
You're the only person I can stand talking over while playing a game. You have a calm and soothing voice and what you say is informative and sometimes witty. Everyone else sounds annoying and they barely say anything informative.
This was an incredible comprehensive effort dude. i watched ALL of it, liked all the videos and tried to make comments when i could. i hope you get something tangible for your efforts. Thanks for doing this.
A staggering undertaking of over ten hours of viewing time, and untold dozens or hundreds of hours of development. UCBVG, I cannot begin to thank you for the amount of entertainment you have provided, and I have watched diligently from the very beginning. Here's to a continued future, and more amazing, cheesy, and great games.
I’m supposed to use words here to express how wonderful and fun this series has been, but I really don’t have them. Instead I’ll talk about what DQ means to me. DQ has always been my go to for RPGs. From the moment I laid eyes on Dragon Warrior as my friend John played it at his house, I knew this was the game series I wanted to play. I’ve played them all and never feel anything but wonder and joy at experiencing everything this series has to offer. I can’t adequately express what UCBVG does for me, but it fills my heart with happiness and excitement whenever I see it pop up in my feed. I always look forward to the next Archfiend who needs a beating and all the video games I can beat. Thank you for all 100 games and everything that will follow.
Thanks for the kind words, Casey! The first time I played Dragon Warrior, it also was at a friend's house. It was technically his dad's game, and when I jumped in, the hero was named "Dad". I hope his dad wasn't too mad that I totally hijacked his game and finished it.
Best guide for the best NES RPG, period. Give the doggos extra treats tonight; they earned their keep with this series! Love your work, man. Enjoy a fun, easy game next like Darkwing Duck or Snow Bros. And if you tackle DW4 later on, at least consider using the Game Genie code that disables the AI control in Ch 5. It makes the game a LOT more fun and allows you to reasonably use characters that under AI control become near worthless (glares in Nara and Cristo's direction).
This has been my favorite guide do far. I am a huge Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest fan. Dragon Warrior 4 is my favorite game of all time. I know it might be a while, but I can't wait for it!!
I played this game on a rented copy so I had zero instructions or strategy guide type stuff. When we went to Alfegard it absolutely blew my mind. It was one of the truly great moments I’ve ever had in all my years of gaming. Such a cool twist.
Been saving this last part for a rainy day - lol, car broke on me (new car, only a few years old off dealership), me and 3 of my kids have pneumonia and spent the better part of the week in the hospital, and i haven't slept in 3 days i've got a bag of doritoes, and you've got both my attention, and my thanks :)
Thank you sir for all that you do. I've been around since almost the beginning it amazing to see how not only the channel grow but how much more comfortable you have grown. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into the videos. It brings me joy to watch you crush the games. Congrats on 100 games beaten and here's to the next 100!!!
I was drinking from a bottle of Coke when I heard, "Can you imagine fighting a giant monster, and then you, like, throw a handful of Tylenol in his face, and watching it writhe in agony?" Sufficed to say, I am now wearing Coke on my shirt. I also can't believe I watched this entire series, especially when I never played any of the Dragon Warrior games, but your narration is so damn soothing to listen to! This guide is incredible. :D
Excellent series of videos. Recently played through this game after years of not playing it, and most of the memory I had of it (e.g. where to go and when) was gone. This walkthrough helped me greatly. These videos were evenly-paced with great explanations of abilities, items, enemies, etc. I only hope to see more and more of this series on classic RPGs for NES and SNES. Very nicely done!
I am so happy to have recently discovered this channel. Touring through your catalogue has been a wonderful blast of nostalgia and has me itching to replay - and introduce to my kids - some of these classics again today. Thanks so much for all your hard work and terrific presentation. I look forward to watching the many more of your videos I've yet to see, and especially those that await in the future!
Wow! I watched every minute of the three parts. Outstanding work! Thank you so much for doing this. Thou art a legend and worthy of the sword of Erdrick!
Just a little jest of gratitude for this work. I have been listening to these a number of time, just to study and learn from it even as I do my job during the week. It has turned into a story that I enjoy listening to. This is a far better subject then the vain easy tropes of games that are normally on this channel. This is quality content that is worth the wait for. Ghost Lion, Ultima, Dragon Quest (series), Wizardary, Breath of Fire, all are good replayable content that has staying power from my pov.
Congrats on 100 games! I love that a Dragon Quest/Warrior game made it as the milestone; this was always one of my favorite series. I was first introduced to it when I received a copy of Dragon Warrior free with my subscription to Nintendo Power magazine. Having received the D&D red box set a few years previously, I was already hooked on the sci-fi and fantasy genres. This just broke it open completely. My next door neighbor and I would spend hours and hours either playing a Dragon Warrior game or D&D. We even jotted down ideas for a future DQ installment (sadly never completed). Though my NES is long gone, I now have the mobile versions on my tablet, as well as a copy of XI S on my computer. The newer versions of Dragon Warrior III bring in the personality system, which added so much new content to an already beloved game. Over the last few years I had even been working on a 5e conversion for the Dragon Quest universe. It has been back-burnered as life has picked up steam, but every once in a while I pull it up and think on it for a bit.
Another amazing game in the books. And this time it is No. 100. How fitting. Congratulations. 🎉🎊 Thank you so much for your and your wifes work and effort. It is always enjoyable watching your videos. They always cheer me up. :)
I spend even MORE then that on the Remakes just grinding 3x Sages ASAP to like lv 40+ even against Metal Slime types can take hours and still take hours for 3x lv 80+ Thieves in order to run away from everything. So I spend almost DOUBLE those 30 hours on the remakes.
@@FourBudgies87 no I know. He speeds it up a few times grinding, I was just in awe i though the original final fantasy was long lol. Massive undertaking. Lmao.
@@veghesther3204 I never played any in the series except the second one thru the first episodes conclusion, then got bored waiting for the finale. I just never expected it to have so much left after this second episode. It’s gotta be one of the largest nes games.
@@veghesther3204 I just got done playing the GBC version & grinding for all the monster medals (Just enough to get through the Silver door). Only had to fight GranDragon twice, beat him in 17 turns the 1st time (got the Rubiss Sword), then in 15 turns the 2nd time, got his set of medals, then said I'm done with this game. Didn't have the patience to go for all the Gold medals (fuck that shit). I've also done a LP of the SNES version & did a solo run & defeated Baramos, Zoma & even Divinegon solo. Definitely one of the best old school RPGs out there.
Baramos Gonus has a higher Attack than weak Zoma..... +40 more actually. I never fought Strong Zoma so I didn't know he hit a ton harder! THANK YOU SO MUCH for this great trio of videos!
You're right about how the English release spoiled the twist. But they learned their lesson for the GBC remakes which came out when I was around 10-12. Getting to go into this amazing trilogy completely blind and have that slow realitization hit when I first saw the word "Tantegel" up to it all coming together is still one of the coolest video game experiences I've ever had.
Omg!!! That was such a triumphant finish!! Outstanding!!! Can't wait for a 100 more..so many childhood memories from this game & you brought them all back..truly excellent!! Never stop 🤙 I wish I could game with ya
I must thank you for introducing me to this absolute masteriece of a video game. I had so much fun playing this title, and it's many different versions (Super Famicom version turned out to be my all-time favourite), fun I would've missed, if it wasn't for your channel. You have a particular knack for making a game interesting. Massive kudos, for all the great job, that you do, keep up the fine work.
When I was growing up, one of the first games I ever had on the NES was the original dragon warrior. I actually never played II and III, and skipped straight to IV. To date IV remains one of my favorite NES games of all time. I had never realized until watching your play-through of this. That it had even more depth, and was separate trilogies. Looking forward to your play though of IV when you feel up to it. Such a great story.
Fantastic! Thank you for yet another fun series of videos, this time for my FAVORITE rpg of the NES era!! I always enjoy your wit towards the subject matter and lore, and greatly respect your efforts in complete strategy towards these beloved games (95% of which I actually remembered from years ago). The cool glitches and patterns were simply unattainable in my youth and are very interesting to me as an adult gamer. Keep up the great work
Top tier content as always dude. That's why I stay subbed to your channel. Your in-depth guides and especially the humor that gets snuck in here and there, they make my day man. I can't wait to see what you put out next.
I watched this video when you first put it out and decided to give a try to your build on the mobile version I have. I lost track of playing it, but since this series popped up in my feed I watched it again, and i feel compelled to play it again. Love these videos. Looking forward to DWIV.... when you are prepared to go through all this work on it.
Big congratulations on beating your 100th game. Seeing this was a huge undertaking without a doubt, let alone an influential RPG title. Keep on the great content. Hopefully I'll like to see you tackling these shorter games: Super Mario Land - Game Boy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan - Game Boy Streets of Rage - Genesis
Thank you so much for this UCBVG! Your Dragon Warrior videos encouraged me to check out the Dragon Quest series and I've become a HUGE fan now! I've been rewatching your whole DW series about 15 minutes at a time over the past few months when I do my stretches every morning, and I was really hoping you might get to DW4 before I reached the end, but I just finished this one this morning, so I might just go back and rewatch from the beginning haha Reminds me of when I was a kid watching Dragon Ball on Toonami, hoping they'd release new episodes after Goku arrived on Namek, only for them to start over from Raditz. Still loved it then and still love it now! Thank you again for these videos!
Great series. There is another quick level up in the underworld. With Goopies, let them live and cast a few increases and bikills on everyone. Then let the Goopies continue to summon Granite Titans. I've had 60,000+exp in one fight, very satisfying.
Correction: The Sword of Kings does not cast Firevolt when used, it casts Infermost. Thor's Sword is the one that casts Firevolt. Also, when fighting Metal Babbles with other enemies, you can Confuse the other enemies with either the Sword of Illusion/Seduce Sword, Bug Powder or the Chaos spell. In the GBC version, Wyverns can breathe fire. Confuse a Wyvern to get them to breathe fire on the Metal Babbles. This can be done way before learning BeDragon. Also, Swordedge Armor can reflect physical damage back to Metal Babbles as well.
What an incredible video series. I was so stoked to play this as a kid, but I wasn't patient enough then and never beat it. It is an incredibly long game. As an adult, I've revisited it 5-6 times and just love it each time. Hero, Fighter, Sage, Pilgrim (I'm boring...lol). This is my favorite DQ game because in the first two DQ games, all you hear about is Erdrick this, Erdrick that, Erdrick is so great, find Erdrick's stuff, etc...To actually learn where Erdrick came from and how he earned the name blew my mind in 91.
*hugs* Thank you and to your wife so much for covering this game. It took me a while to finish this one since I needed a break from RPGS. I love the long adventures with rpgs but at times I must take a break from these games even from many longplays or streams i watch. Can't wait to see you and your wife cover the 4th game. I've only beaten these games many many years ago via the remakes, only did the nes version of DQ1.
Very much enjoyed all the videos on this game. Very great work. 10+ hours shows real dedication. Looking forward to your next videos and waiting to see destiny of an emperor conquered by you
Dang. What a conclusion and what a trilogy. I can’t imagine the work that went into this. This has been really fun to watch and follow along with!
There's a part 4 on the NES too, still might be a while before we see it.

Super neat! Thanks for the info I did not know that!
Woo it's out!!!
I bet as for the twist in 1988 most players probably thought the hole lead to the final dungeon not an entirely different world!!
Not just a different world, the original world.
😁😁 ( 12:31 and on 🤣🤣🤣)
The conclusion! Time to sit back and "work" haha. You rock @U Can Beat Video Games!
Sup coi
@@nugboy420 Haha fancy seeing you here lol
Over the past 25 years, I have always enjoyed talking with other people about this game - especially hearing how everyone pronounces the names of the towns differently! XD
Thank you so much for recognizing all of us that look up from our projects to see a game that looks really cool AND HAVING IDEA WHAT GAME IS so we have to rewind the video! Make this a regular feature fellas, or at least leave the game name on the screen while you talk about it. You guys are awesome
I can’t get past the way he says “Alefguard” like “OliveGard”. I’m loving it.
Olive Garden lol.
I love the content, it is really well done. However, basic English pronunciation is not his strong suit.
You rock, UCBVG! Thanks for making my mornings and weekends such a treat when you drop a new guide! 👍🏻🤘🏻
Found my next UA-cam to watch while I chill. You never stumble in your commentary
This was for many years my favorite game in the series. It's been overtaken by Dragon Quest XI, but I do still love it. Thank you for this incredibly comprehensive guide to a great game.
Happy 100th game!!! Send Mrs. UCBVG our love and thanks for helping out! You may have noticed, we were all very much looking forward to this.
I will! She saved me a couple days worth of work for sure
These videos fill the void that my Nintendo Power and EGM subscriptions left me.
Thanks for all the hard work! We appreciate you❤️
"This is the world of darkness, also known as Olive Garden."
Excited to see you finish this one, got me motivated to finish my playthrough, love your hard work and all your vids.
Watching this made me play this game, again.
I haven't touched it since the 90s.
Thank you and please keep entertaining the masses!
The weekend comes early!!!!! yay!
I'm gonna watch this whole video. Brb
I'll have to watch this later! Thanks so much for your hard work!
I never thought you'd actually make this a 3-parter. I also never thought it'd be this long.
Looking forward to the SNES RPGs...
The RPGs are why I'm here, everything else is just a bonus. Great channel! Keep up the great work.
Fist thing i do when i come to work and its slow is to check on your channel. its like coffee to me or a bowl of cereal. well done
I played this game on a rented copy so I had zero instructions or strategy guide type stuff. When we went to Alfegard it absolutely blew my mind. It was one of the truly great moments I’ve ever had in all my years of gaming. Such a cool twist.
Been saving this last part for a rainy day - lol, car broke on me (new car, only a few years old off dealership), me and 3 of my kids have pneumonia and spent the better part of the week in the hospital, and i haven't slept in 3 days
i've got a bag of doritoes, and you've got both my attention, and my thanks :)
This is some quality content right here! Bravo!!
Congratulations on the 100th game on the channel! This was fantastic! I really enjoyed it!
Another amazing game in the books. And this time it is No. 100. How fitting. Congratulations. 🎉🎊
Thank you so much for your and your wifes work and effort.
It is always enjoyable watching your videos. They always cheer me up. :)
Holy crap I didn’t expect this was gonna be an 10+ hour game lmao.
It's actually closer to 30 hours sometimes. Amazing such a huge game is on the NES.
Your videos have become a mainstay in my life!
Thanks for all the hard work you put into this one! It was surely a big task. But this channel always hits it out of the park. 😊
Congrats on 100 games, man!!! I've recently got my brother watching this channel, and he loves it!
Looking forward to another 100 games with you.
This was such a great series. I'm really proud of the way your channel has been growing and how your content is becoming so fluid and entertaining.
Getting through a huge RPG series like Dragon Warrior/Quest is a hefty project. Congrats on beating 100 games!
Thanks so much for taking the time to make this awesome homage to my favorite game of all time!
Nice! I beat this game and your tips on your three part video on Dragon Quest 3 are really helpful. Thank you so much.
Omg!!! That was such a triumphant finish!! Outstanding!!! Can't wait for a 100 more..so many childhood memories from this game & you brought them all back..truly excellent!! Never stop 🤙 I wish I could game with ya
Thanks, Fram!
Wonderful to see the epic conclusion to this trilogy!
So much attention to detail. This was yet another fun watch. Dragon Quest always fascinated me. Happy 100th Game!!
I hope you enjoyed making this video as much as I enjoyed watching it. I am glad to see your channel growing you deserve it. 👏
Keep up the great work
Excellent job on this series, you do all of these games wonderful justice and homage. Thanks for what you do.
I love how your 100th game complete is a Dragon Quest game. Probably one of my favorite series of games no matter how silly or serious they get.
Big congratulations on beating your 100th game. Seeing this was a huge undertaking without a doubt, let alone an influential RPG title. Keep on the great content.
Hopefully I'll like to see you tackling these shorter games:
Super Mario Land - Game Boy
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan - Game Boy
Streets of Rage - Genesis
"They have a cave troll" - Fellowship of the Ring. The cover picture for the video reminded me of that one. Thanks again for your content!
Thank you so much for this UCBVG! Your Dragon Warrior videos encouraged me to check out the Dragon Quest series and I've become a HUGE fan now!
I've been rewatching your whole DW series about 15 minutes at a time over the past few months when I do my stretches every morning, and I was really hoping you might get to DW4 before I reached the end, but I just finished this one this morning, so I might just go back and rewatch from the beginning haha
Reminds me of when I was a kid watching Dragon Ball on Toonami, hoping they'd release new episodes after Goku arrived on Namek, only for them to start over from Raditz.
Best rpg of almost any generation. I'd love to see a full remaster like the new DQ games not just updated 2d.
Very much enjoyed all the videos on this game. Very great work. 10+ hours shows real dedication. Looking forward to your next videos and waiting to see destiny of an emperor conquered by you
