Wholesale changes required, selling deadwood is vital to bringing in the level of players we need in the future. A lot of players left over from the old regime with bad habits that inevitably resurface. I really hope arteta gets the players he needs this window and the board make the tough decisions with current players to get us challenging again. If not #KroenkeOut

AMN IS a beast. He pocketed Zaha traore mahrez Reece James martial and rashford. We haven't had a person as good at 1v1 defending for quite some time

Abdoulaye Doucoure for me and i have said for a while is an absolute no brainer. He is exactly the type of midfield player that we do not have and absolutely do need. The rumour is 25 million will get him and for me that would be a bargain.

Buy- Malacia (young back up to Tierney. Cheaper than Lewis)
Midfield- sell- Xhaka, Elneny, Guendouzi.
Buy from - Partey, Doucoure (not that good but okay to sit and win it back and is realistic) or Weston McKennie ( to win the ball back and is younger and better at it). Grealish (don't think we will get him), Szoboszlai ( young box to box goalscorer), Milinkovic-Savic (to create), . Ihatteren + Aarronson (young 10's to be back ups for now and hopefully progress to starting in the future).
I like that you're being realistic with you're transfers and buying talent that can develop and help get us back where we should be.
Personally I'd sign, Mckennie 20m, Szoboszlai 25m release clause, Milinkovic-Savic 40-50m, Tapsoba 30m, Dest 20-25m, Tah 20m, Fofana 20m euros and Ihatteren 12-15m.
I would get Partey and Grealish but don't think we will so went with more realistic ones.
Around 170m - Xhaka 30m, Elneny 5m, Sokratis 7m, Holding 12m, Chambers 10m, Kolasinac 12m so 76m together.
so 203 on in comings (worst case) and around 76m on outgoings.
127m close to what we spent last summer.
Add Aouar to the list of Midfielders I would go for. Forgot about him.

I think we can do a lot worse than bringing in Santi Cazorla who has just played himself back into the Spanish set up for one season as he’s better than all of our midfielders combined. This would save us money for the level of quality we desire in the middle of the park as you know these Americans are not going to fund us adequately so we need to play it smart.

Maitland Niles is a baller, he has power, pace and composure. Can he not have an opinion or preference? You don't need to sell someone because he's mentioned that he likes to play in midfield and then his most recent comment was he just wants to play, no matter the position.

So, far it looks like we resign Auba to a 3-year deal worth €250,000 per week and according to multiple reports we are close to signing Gabriel from Lille and it will be announced this week; let's wait and see if Napoli will pull back their bid... For me our weakest part in our team is our spine our central players are not good enough going forward or defensive that's why we can't control games or hold on to games we are leading. I would rather sell Guendouzi, Torreira, Xhaka and get Partey, Aouar, Soumore, and loan in Ceballos. With Soumore and Partey we get strength defensive shield and balance. With Aour and Ceballos they will give ous creativity and feed the attack with runs and good balls. If we don't get Aouar Szoboszlai is a cheaper option. That is 3 players out i would add Sokratis, Holding Bellerin Kolasniac and Lacca and Elneny. It's also 8 out but different players. Give amn a last chance he is 22 and from our academy. Buy Gabriel and Edouard. 6 players in maybe Sarr on free our squad depth if any other cb will leave. Aouar, Soumore Ceballos Partey Gabriel Edouard. We will have a strong first eleven good balanced age and technicall ability plus strength. We could start the season with Martinez amn Luiz Gabriel Tierney

The remaining speak with emotions without understanding that this is professional football not amateur football where you can be given time to learn. A Surgeon (Doctor) cannot be given time to keep making mistakes on his trade nor even a professional driver driving recklessly (taking passengers to wrong address for instance) and expect to keep pardoned whilst making money at the expense of his passengers. HOLDING, AINSLEY, BELLERIN, SOKRATIS, WILLOCK, MUSTAFI, KOLASINAC, NKETIAH, TORREIRA AND THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL OZIL. I will even sell Xhaka and buy a more mobile central midfielder.

Holding lost his pace and became slower after his last injury and just like the other defenders Mustafi, Luiz he is too inconsistent also makes some errors as he plays.

Although I agree with most of your assessment I think you've judged the market incorrectly. We aren't getting £100mil for all those listed and we certainly aren't spending £100mil with no match day revenue and still losing 20mil for the pepe deal.
Market value for Max Aaron's would be more than 20mil, British premium and being young, he's likely going to be above 20mil.
I wouldn't sell AMN and Bellerin, a utility player is good to have and with 3yrs to go, we don't need to sell. Midfield next season for Europa and cups would be Willock, ESR, Torreira and AMN.
Lacazette again is unlikely to be sold because Nketiah doesn't have the link up play and neither does Auba. So you must replace lacazette because the cover is not adequate in Martinelli and Nketiah.
Bellerin? Who needs a RB currently that will spend 20-30mil for him? Market value aside if he's not great for arsenal, who is going to buy him for that with the finances available to clubs? Iwobi went because a fee we can't turn down came in, otherwise he'd be here now. I don't see that happening for Bellerin especially given how much he likes where he is.
Dacoure would still cost us 30mil plus. There is a misconception now on the health of smaller clubs finances I feel as we have seen Villa Bournemouth command what we would deem stupid fees for their players.
This summer I can only see us really selling Elneny, Mhiki, Kolasinac, Sokratis and either holding or Chambers. Guendouzi is a possibility but no club is paying 40mil for a player who seems to have disciplinary issues. Are we going to take less money for him? I think the club is in a better position to keep him, see if he comes around and make a decision next season if he doesn't go.
Next year we have the shackles off in terms of wages which allows us to really be expansive in the market. This one I'm afraid is tricky as a lot of the players like what Arteta is doing and staying will greatly improve them anyway for their moves next summer or January. Arteta has made the club feel good again and if I'm in my last year, why leave a place where people are happy and I can improve as a player hopefully and maybe win something
No way you expecting Arsenal to spend £100m outright during this coronavirus issue, we would be lucky to spend £50m personally outright, but the player sales should be enough (hoping we can sell them and dont damage that by asking too much) to then have Magalhaes and Partey, Amadou Diawara and a ball playing creative mid like a Cebellos and that would be a decent window, getting those Norwich full backs would be good but thats too much negotiations to get over the line, I think we will sell more than we buy, if we can get rid of the dead wood, def would keep AMN

How is Cedric better than niles? Putting bias aside. We've only seen Cedric play a few games for arsenal and they were pretty underwhelming. He had to be subbed off on 2 occasions. The same argument of Cedric being able to cover at left back could be used for Niles and Niles is younger and covers more positions. Also he looks a better footballer, and has more pace. I don't get that logic at all.
Cedric was subbed off because he wasn’t match fit. An injury and lack of playing time does that to you. How you can say AMN is better than a man who has started consistently as a RB in this league and won the Euro’s is beyond me, AMN hasn’t achieved anything yet and also failed to hold down a starting spot in this team.
@@TurkishLDN fair enough but you're holding something he said in the past against him when he's come out and cleared it after the FA cup win when he said he's happy to play in any position as long as he's helping the team. He was a midfielder, unai changed his postion, and of course if interviewers ask him his fav position he's allowed to have an opinion. Even on that interview he didn't say he doesn't want to play at RB. He said he's not a RB so he's still learning the position. I'm sure if you ask Auba where he'd like to play he'd have a favoured position too. Same as Ozil said in the past that he likes the middle more. This is his first time really in a new position and ever since Arteta it looks like he's getting the hang of it. He nullified Mahrez, one of the most tricky right wingers in the game so hard they had to sub him off. Came on against Wloves and did a solid job on Adama. It looks to me like he's beginning to get the defensive aspect of it and given his age and versatility i would like to keep him. Just my opinion.
