Fallout 3 marks the beggining of Bethesda's Fallout era, in which the saga shifted from RPG to open world FPS, which got... mixed results from the fanbase, to put it mildly. In this video I try to dot the "i"s and give my two cents on the topic.

Fallout 3 gets way too much hate from the New Vegas stans. I’ve played both and prefer the DC wasteland over The Mojave. It feels more post-apocalyptic. The metro tunnels feel claustrophobic. The setting is brilliant. The gameplay could be better and the gun play is a little lacking, but I still prefer it over FNV.
I've played fallout 3 twice and it's not as bad as it's made out to be, sure the main quest is kinda shallow but the side content is pretty good and I think the world space is fun to explore.

@@villings There’s a lot of Fallout videos where they argue with you about your own opinions. Some even call you stupid. It’s really pathetic. F3 may not have the depth that NV has, but it’s still a great game.
@@derangedtangerine4731 The main storyline is weak. It’s like they wanted it to be more, but ran out of time and threw it together. I believe the side quests are better than NV. And I may be one of the only ones, but I love the metro tunnels.
