Hi Emily, I think you look fabulous in purple. You glow! Very nice episode. Love how you put your knits in context. The last top will be perfect for Italy. Looking forward to seeing pictures. Heike
Lol i saw you too but you were busy chatting ok i was shy 😂. I had a lot of fun so i am so happy i watched your video on Friday to hear about it. @highfiberknits
Both lilacs look terrific on you, and the lace top is going to be fab for Italy in the summer! Though my first thought was… Rome, in August? 😮 😅 Would enjoy a styling video - those are always fun 😊.
I have loved Celine’s scribble top since she released her video - and your version is gorgeous good. It’s on my list. And so is the mixed rib top. The harmonizes well with your features :-)
I love your modesty. Thank you for that! I completely understand enjoying certain cuts for our own body and honor that in others, I also must say that your camisole #5 is quite flattering in that photo. I enjoy your content. Thank you.
If you make more tops that you're not comfy modeling on the internet, it would be helpful to put photos from the designer or the garment not on your body so we can see what you're talking about when you reference parts of the garment you didn't model. I hope that makes sense!
Absolutely! Again, there are certain parameters around subject matter that I can directly share on the channel, so whether or not I include photos from the designer in these situations will need to be done on a case by case basis. I always try to link to pattern pages or the designers’ instagrams for patterns in testing whenever possible, and more photos will be available there 😁
Lol I have the same problem. Love color and want to work with it but then hard to pair. Ah the kniting loft, a paradise to us knitters and crocheters. I was in Italy last year during the same time you are going this year but in Venezia, Milan, and it was hot. I am groing to Greece this year and I am looking for a knitted top to take it with me. Thank you for the idea
some cami patterns are just worth the wool tbh, I often prefer the way that wool or wool-dominant yarns block and wear so I'd rather be a little warmer and love the way the project ends up that be slightly chillier but not satisfied with the finished object 👌
Hi Emily, I am based in Florence, Italy. If you need any tips or any help for your trip to Italy I would be happy to help. And yes, August in Italy is extremely hot, be prepared.
I appreciate your modesty and integrity. Your tops look lovely.
Thank you!

Lacy summer knits for the win!!!

Such a fair point! I’m itching to get the ribbed cami done in time for a few comfortable days of wear!
