Yeah I thought Disney+ was going to be putting all of their adult films on Hulu in the US. I think he have a section for them on Disney+ international.
Such an amazing retrospective of a long forgotten movie studio that spawned so many classics that also launched so many careers for a lot of iconic actors such as tom hanks in splash, and John candy in the same movie.a few favorites are stakeout, one of the best buddy cop movies of the 80s that nobody talks about, three fugitives who framed roger rabbit and shoot to kill, ruthless people and down and out in Beverly Hills are some of my favorites
I've never even heard of most of these movies, this is the best channel to find out about good movies from the 80s and 90s that you didn't know about or forgot about
A great time for movies from this company which gave us classics like Sister Act, Sister Act 2, Down And Out In Beverly Hills, Steakout, Good Morning, Vietnam, Three Men And A Baby, Splash, Adventurs In Babysitting, Turner And Hooch, The Ref, My Science Project, Off Beat, Ruthless People, Tough Guys, The color Of Money, Outrageous Fortune, Tin Man, Ernest Goes To Camp, Ernest Saves Christmas, Can't Buy Me Love, Hello Again, Shoot To Kill, D.O.A. Big Business, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cocktail, The Rescue, Heartbreak Hotel, The Good Mother, Beaches, Three Fugitives, New York Stories, Disorganized Crime, Dead Poets Society, An Innocent Man, Gross Anatomy, Blaze, Stella, Where The Heart Is, Pretty Woman, Ernest Goes To Jail, Spaced Invaders, Fire Birds, Dick Tracey, Betsys Wedding, Mr. Destiny, Three Men And A Little Lady, Green Card, Scenes From A Mall, Oscar, What About Bob? The Doctor, The Rocketeer, True Identity, Paradise, Decieved, Enerest Scared Stupid, Billy Bathgate, Father Of The Bride, Father Of the Bride part II, Noises Off... 3 Ninjas, The Gun In Betsy Lou's Handbag, Captain Ron, Alive, The Cemetary Club, Indian Summer. 🎥🍿🎬😎
My Science Project and Tough Guys are a couple of my Nostalgic Favorites! As well.... c'mon The Color Of Money you can smell the poolhalls as watching.
Haha you can smell the poolhalls when watching, love the atmosphere of it. Tough Guys was a blast I actually just watched it all the way through for this video and it was amusing.
Having a Hot Dr. Pepper...while watching this video! It is from the YT channel Weird History and also a reoccuring drink on the movie Blast From The Past!
My Science Project was an HBO favorite for me. Most memorable quote "OK, Sawyer. What's going on? Distributor caps don't just pop off. unless you want 'em to. OK. It's confession time." Splash was a repeat watch, too.
I watched My Science Project a ton as well growing up. Cable was the place to be on the rainy weekends for me which was a LOT given I grew up in Seattle.
It was an interesting film for sure well-acted just had the misfortune of coming out against extremely hard competition at the theater sometimes it's all about luck and timing.
x 5:00 My aunt was an extra for themovie Terms of Endearment x I added all of the movies to my April Watchlist, will create a couple of Touchstone Movie Marathons at some point.
Completely agree - outside of Down and Out and Ruthless People. Tough Guys, Baby, Splash, etc. were all super sanitized. 1987 would be the year Touchstone separated itself. To me anyway. Thanks for watching.
All you UA-cam creators decided to put out the same videos at the same time, I literally watched a video on Touchstone pictures yesterday and one the day before 😂
just wonder why people of younger generation are so obsessed with running channels about the times they never even experienced. Maybe it`s better to make your own life
Cause Nostalgia has always been catnip going back to the 70's with Happy Days and Grease, invoking a simpler time and every generation there's always a Retro Boom , in the late 90s there was an 80s Nostalgia, in the early 2000s there was a 90s boom and also Movies based on old TV shows were hot (Mission Impossible, Charlie's Angel's, The Brady Bunch etc) Retro done well is Money
In my opinion under the Touchstone Pictures titles many great films were made. Since Disney took over I feel their catalogue hasn't been fresh just remakes for a woke audience.
@@MoviesNeverSayDie I felt that Touchstone had more hits than Disney. The majority films produced by Touchstone were innovative. Whereas Disney I feel hasn't been innovative
Hollywood acts like it's living paycheck to paycheck, any profits go to executives and not back into the art. So it means every movie needs to make a payday so no more chances are taken.
Wow the memories. Showtime played Touchstone films all day long. Good list.
That's where I watched a majority of these growing up.
Ruthless People got rented over and over when I was kid loved that movie . Wish they would put it on Disney +

Thank you very much for the kind words! I loved Shoot to Kill - such a great flick! Also love Stakeout!
I've never even heard of most of these movies, this is the best channel to find out about good movies from the 80s and 90s that you didn't know about or forgot about
I really appreciate that!
Kind of off topic....but you're the only channel I've heard even mention "Band of the Hand ."
Great content though. Love the story behind the stories.
I appreciate that I always try to bring something new to this space which isn't always easy.
AWESOME Nostalgia for me!
Can't wait for part 2!
Thanks Anthony!
Touchstone Pictures. Helped keep Bette Midler and Shelly Long's lights on in the 80s.
100%

How do people like you find the time for all that?
One of the all-time great studios for 80s and 90s gems!
I’ve seen most of these, just watched captain ron with my kids!
You can take a breath every now and then.
Great video! I love the way it was all put together.
Thanks so much!
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is the crown jewel of Touchstone.
Yeah that was a hit, and Pretty Woman I believe. That movie made a ton of money.
A+ video!
LOVE IT! Fascinating and very helpful history of Touchstone Pictures!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I remember Tough Guys slam dancing 👊
Great video!
Thanks!
@MoviesNeverSayDie no problem man!
Those early Touchstone films are pre pixar era Disney films
I always liked My Science Project with Dennis Hopper and Turner and Hooch!!!
I love Turner & Hooch
Love your Rocky 4 attire
Thanks dude!

Never tried it! Haha I may have to!
@@MoviesNeverSayDie It's great! It's also considered a Holiday drink.

That's an awesome memory to have. I bet it was fun!
We need them all on Disney plus
That's would be cool!
Overall, Touchstone films were TV movies with a bit of adult content thrown in.
Summer camp nightmare
Those Touchstone films are Disney studio films made for young adult, teenages & adults.
Completely agree - outside of Down and Out and Ruthless People. Tough Guys, Baby, Splash, etc. were all super sanitized. 1987 would be the year Touchstone separated itself. To me anyway. Thanks for watching.
Hey movies never say die
Hey back at ya!
All you UA-cam creators decided to put out the same videos at the same time, I literally watched a video on Touchstone pictures yesterday and one the day before 😂
Funny how that works, I was going back and forth between Carolco, Cannon or Touchstone and the latter got the pick.
just wonder why people of younger generation are so obsessed with running channels about the times they never even experienced. Maybe it`s better to make your own life
Never really understood that myself.

Sadly, Hollywood is NOT creative anymore like it used to be! Only about remaking movies of the past!!!!

audio narraration is better
