1/700 IJN Yamato - Fujimi

- Yamato (大和 "Great Harmony") was the lead ship of her class of battleships built for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) shortly before World War II. She and her sister ship, Musashi, were the heaviest and most powerfully armed battleships ever constructed, displacing 72,800 tonnes at full load and armed with nine 46 cm (18.1 in) Type 94 main guns, which were the largest guns ever mounted on a warship.

Hi Bradens Reviews 🙂 - Навчання та стиль
A very enjoyable video ! Regards Gav.
More and more editing :) your improving your work!
Thank you! :D
Very nice build! Will you make a 1/700 IJN carrier next? Will wonder how good it can look
Yup, I just finished!
Amazing!
Thank you very much!
great job i love the outcome
Thank you very much!
Excellent, can see myself making this particular model, not too big and not too small.
Thank you very much!
Really great work!! :) What specific model is it? 46000? 46056? or another? And PE parts are what brands? Thank you. :)
It's the 46000 model number. I'm using the Fujimi PE parts for the specific model.
Can you post a link to this ship? Also where do you find the wooden floors and decals?
www.hlj.com/1-700-scale-warship-next-ijn-battleship-yamato-fuj46056
(This is a newer version to the kit I have, I think only the base changed.)
For the wooden deck: www.hlj.com/1-700-scale-warship-next-ijn-battleship-yamato-wooden-deck-sticker-w-ship-name-plate-fuj46063
(It now comes with a nameplate, I'm not sure if they have a wooden deck only and no name plate version)
The decals came with the kit itself already!
wow, really nice built, and clever idea to use those copper wires, but i got a question, I bought the Fujimi Model 1/700 Ship Next Series Nº 01 Yamato, but I don't know if it does come with the Photoetch/Flyhawk/Eduard (whatever his name is really), because I'm aware that there is at least a Fujimi model that comes with the wooden deck and detailed, but I'm a little afraid that I bought the regular one
Thank you very much! If you have the kit number you can double check at scalemates. The kit number is on the side of the box. From what I can tell, it's kit No. 46073 that has the photoetched and wooden deck included.

You a Filipino? Nice model!!
Yup! Thank you very much!
Hey !, incredible build ! *-*
What did you use for the Rigging ? I‘ve never done it before and would like to try it with this model 🙏🏻
Thank you very much! I used Infini Models black lycra rigging the 40 denier size.
Wow that's what I called an art and also your filipino too😂
Thank you very much!
I'm thinking about getting the model but I'm not really experienced in modelling. I would like to know wether this requires special tools to make the undetailed version of the ship, e.g glue.
Fujimi NEXT kits are similar to Gundam Models where everything is snap built together. So a nipper and a hobby knife would be the necessary. You can also use liquid cement if some parts are too lose for you.Hope this helps!
@@KumaModels thanks.
Can you make the USS Arizona scale 1:700?
Hmm I’ll try!
Please tell me where you got the plate with the name of the ship? I also bought such a set. Thanks.
I bought it from Yellow Submarine in Radio Kaikan, Akihabara Japan.
@@KumaModels Can you order there?
@@KumaModels I went to the site, everything is in Japanese.
このキットはマストが気になる…
あと二一号電探間違えてない?
What did you use for the wash?
I used Tamiya Panel Line Accent color BLACK for the wash.
@@KumaModels thanks you, for one reason UA-cam doesn’t notify the replies some times
Did you buy it online? If so can I have a link to the shop?
No, I bought this when I was in Japan.
Awww
No armor is enough to protect from murder hornets. Battleship got blown to smitherins by aircraft, and not by another battleship, like an Iowa Class battleship.
Paint color code ???
I used Tamiya XF- 75 Kure Gray for the upper hull and a mix of XF- 9 (Hull Red) and XF - 7 (Flat Red) for the lower hull.
