Farcry 6 has really fluid water effect and fire effect (and the rain actually puts it out) the devs really did an amazing job.
A beautiful world wasted in an awful story and dumb AI. Typical ubisoft.

While I always found it stupid GTA’s trees were invincible, Far Cry’s exploding trees even when you’re driving slowly without any impact to the car seems even sillier.

The reason Deni starts coughing blood is because of her body violently reacting to the process of salt water drowning. She is badly wanting oxygen and is being forced to actually partially breathe underwater, which is fatal and dangerous, and also because the contents of the water on Yara are mostly of salt water in the ocean, so therefore, it goes into the lungs, thickens her blood, and you can see where this goes.

I mean, if they like this much to fill their games with such details, no wonder why it's taking them so long.

Having GTA Online still up does not mean that they can not work on anything else. Instead, they probably got a very low number of people working on GTA Online, just not to completely abandon it.

Driving through obstacles: definitely an area where GTA V needs a lot of improvement. For a game that has increasingly become about going faster, there are hundreds of things across the map that will bring you instantly to a stop - great fun on missions in an already slow vehicle, or when being tailed by an Oppressor...

Yeah no theres a reason why these obsticles exsist. Your supposed to control your speed not mindlessley hold accelerate. If you do you need to be punished aka instantly stopped.

Even though FarCry 6 was better than GTA V in some aspects, we have to remember that GTA V was made in 2013. The amount of detail that GTA V has for a game that was released almost a decade ago is very impressive, just imagine how it would’ve been if they had released it this year🤯

"Trees are invincible monstrosities in GTA 5". Bruh have you heard about Cayo Perico in GTA Online? At least in story mode, you can drive through the bushes. In Cayo Perico, even the tiniest bushes and branches are made out of Titanium!
I compare those bushes to WW2 anti tank spikes

Every rockstar I have played, Reddead, GTA, Midnight Club, each game I will never forget, as Rockstar just adds the extra time and dedication in my opinion, just can’t be copied. The quality of their games are immaculate. They have never failed me.

I think 6:49 is a good detail in Farcry 6 that npc come back to the work they were doing after some time instead of forgetting about it and roaming free around the map like in GTA.

I actually think trees stopping cars, even small ones, is more realistic than snapping them like twigs in far cry
I still love how it looks in farcry 6, surprising how good tbh
In real life, trees would uproot and fall over, not just snap unless the car is driving very fast

95 times out of 100 the tree will win... unfortunately.
one game has invincible trees the other game has weak trees, sweet spot would be somewhere in the middle.
It's not even close to being real, look at the first crysis game it still beats tree physics of any game by a looooong shot
I love how the GTA V is still giving tough competition to the latest games kudos to the rockstar team
Honestly, I wish the devs of these open world games like Far Cry (and etc) would focus on more important details such as their NPC AI and physics logic such as molotov's
extinguishing when hitting the water, NPCs evading gunfire, glass breaking only where it is shot (or hit) and only fully shattering if hit in the right places (so on). This is why GTA V and Rockstar's games have always appealed more to people bc they actually put the time and effort in to think about these logistics and, although sometimes subtle, they undoubtedly make a world of a difference to the immersion and general quality of the game.
Rockstar want their games to last as long as possible.. That's why they push that generation hardware to it's limits to give their games a lasting affect on it's customers/players..

Grand Theft Auto games and the Far Cry series have been far ahead of their time of release so it's nice to see a comparison between them
clearly gta is much farther ahead than far cry 6. GTA 5 is 8 years old now yet still won to a current gen game.

I think it makes sense for them NPCs to not react while you aim your gun in FC6 because they know who Dani is and they respect him/her for the revolution.

You know what I have noticed in Far Cry 4. If you burn up some vegetation in a dry area it will spread vastly but if you do that in half snowy area vegetations bearly catch fire and goes out immediately. Nice little detail
What truly fascinates me about GTA 5 is that an 8-year old game constantly manages to compete with current AAA titles. Kudos to the devs at Rockstar!

Just the fact that we are comparing next gen games to a game that's almost 10 years old speaks volumes to how damn good a company rockstar is. By far the best in the business
I beg to disagree. They've been milking GTA 5 for 3 console generations now and also completely neglect red dead online for GTA online, which despite being what they put time into is still a really unbalanced game with a lot of grinding, which bled through to red dead online, basically begging you to swipe your card to simply enjoy the game, assuming you haven't started grinding.
If we're talking story games, R* is absolutely the best, but they seriously need to just let off of GTA ffs
