Vongon £900 Sounds alright but most videos getting decent sound out of it have it hooked up to 2 x £350 pedals, absolute tosh at that price, epecially as they have compromised functional ease of use and clarity for hipster quirkiness
If it's going to be a "Round Robin" style, there should be a circle of musicians with you in the centre. P.s. I still owe you some beers - that coffee is just not enough!
I had to strongly control my desire to ask who made the ferro fluid display on the upper left shelf (purchased or DIY?) .. but after being distracted by it for an entire hour of Robins monthly video, well Ok.. where did you get that thing Robin?
molten get the second big screen for the disting,.....very very important. try out spectral freez! ( among tons of other FANTASTIC algos )!! but hey dont sell your endless processor....even if you esialy could. i didn't sell mine either. alltho the spectral freez algo is 5 times more powerful than your fav piece of gear 23! DONT FORGET THE BIG SCREEN THO!!! and you will understand this module under couple of weeks. promise you that. but you need to watch OS's fantastic videos. the big screen will cost you 20 pounds and for you diy guy absolutely zero problem!!! i needed to search my ass off to find a built one. in the mean time disting is my fav module #2 after morphagene which will always be #1 csuse it got me into eurorack. Ostler did lieterally a gemius work with the EX!! stay patient is my device and enjoy this lil beast!

You are probably right... 400 quid versus 899 dollars....er yep, not really the same is it - i guess i was seeing it more similar in function and i could have sworn the Nymphes was 600. It is slightly weird this synth... and the lovely respectful people who are making videos on it, whom I believe, so i'm willing to give it some slack, but... and I really want a polyphrase :D

What format is that big front panel please? Is that a standard size as I've made a big synth (bigger than euro rack format) and would be nice to make the panel to a known standard
@@MoltenMusicTech Well I do love the Poly FM and the Wavetable and Multisample oscillator on the EX. It has a decent implementation of Plaits (Macro Osc 2) once you work out the parameters. For straight Disting algos I use the fader (H-1) a lot and the chaos (m-8) and turing machine (F-6) came in handy too. And a bunch of other algos I've used once. It really is the most amazing little thing. If OS came out with a 12 HP (or bigger) version of the Disting EX with a screen and more I/O I would buy it no matter what. The secret is the software which is solid and just works.
The new "Blossom" alternate firmware someone released for Qu-Bit Bloom also looks interesting, and might be up your alley.

It's the Kosmo standard which Sam called Metric 5U - make of that what you will. More detaisl on the Lookmumnocomputer website.
