no, not yet, I'm thinking, of getting a second pair, Im afraid if I sharpen them the sound will be off, I've sharpened scissors before and they were never the same after 😅 glad you like the video ☺️
that is such a nice haircut!!! Thank you so much for posting this haircut videos! I watch them every night before I go to bed and these videos really help me to calm down and go to sleep. Keep up the good work!!!🙂✂😴
I’ll never forgive the fates for taking my hair while I was still young. I miss this experience more than just about anything. These videos are the closest I can get to experiencing a great scissor cut again..
Just a suggestion! Personally i prefer higher sensitivity of the mic that way you can hear more sounds and you get a bit of the relaxing white noise in the background
I just stumbled upon this video having been a Haircut Hairy follower for some time. I love the sound of haircuts but i really do not like the trimmers, theyre too loud! this video was perfect! Lots of scissors not too much trimmers, and your trimmer seemed much more quiet than some of the other vodeos i have seen. Immediately subscribed!!!
Awesome! Thank you! I try to focus on scissor cuts lately and I lower down the sound of clippers as I don't like them my self to loud and a few people suggested that I make the clipper more silent also, I think this will be a mostly scissor cut channel in the future, glad you like the videos ☺️
Just curious if you livestreamed at all while cutting. (though it might not be as ASMR)....idea just popped into my head. Thank you, btw, for these. I watch them to calm down.
I was thinking of doing it in the future tho ☺️ will need a different setup tho, but I am considering it, just need to plan it out better and have a good concept for it ☺️ glad you find the videos helpful ☺️
The scissors seem to be upside down, (thumb in wrong hole) and I have never seen the thumb as the main driving force, and the ring finger in the other hole (vs index) are outside my norm. But the sounds are right (back of neck and sides), so thanks.
I think that's how most hairdressers do it, supposed to be better for the wrist, but I can't say if its and different from other ways because that's the only way I ever done it ☺️
@@whisperinghaircutsasmr Perhaps. But that would raise the question if you ever went to a barber school (which is unimportant.) I suppose methods depend upon what is comfortable and how one is taught. I have seen people holding a pen/pencil like Chinese chop-stick and also like an ice pick with a death-grip. (Amish, but they live in 1699) I have also seen (and practice) taking 3 squares of toilet paper and folding it twice, verses (vs) bunching up enough to clog the toilet in one shot for each wipe. BTW, 70% of the USA uses the bunch up method which is why we have to get TP from Canada; They have more trees. It is not Mom's fault, it IS Grandmothers for teaching it wrong..LOL Thank you for the reply. I will be back to watch (listen) again.
lol im surprised now at the 70 percent, seems rather unpractical lol but I've been to Spain and Portugal the toilet paper there is super thin, you need a lot of squares, with German one you only need 2, every country is different I guess 😁 in my country there is no separation between barbering and hairdressing, so you learn both, but I think most European hairdressers hold scissors like this, I've seen some barbers from India hold it with their thumb and index finger, but I guess every countries education is a little bit different ☺️ glad you like the video ☺️
I'm gonna get so much hate for this, but oh well. First, let me say that as an ASMR sound video, this is up there with the best of them, including Switchscissors!! However, and here's where I'm gonna get roasted, if I walked into a barbershop/salon and seen a barber/stylist that thought the haircut this one has was a good idea, they would not get anywhere near my hair. Sorry. Just being honest. I will gladly keep watching your videos just for the great ASMR. I just won't be able to make myself watch it in case there's those mirror shots OK. Blast away.
Very skilled hair cutting and gorgeous video, though the sound of the GoPro strap moving around and the intense breathing kills it a little for me. Would be immeasurably better with a lavalier mic attach to your wrist I think!
I haven't figured out the go pro problem yet, but if I attach a mic to the wrist I can't do it with go pro, so would have to change the whole setup, but I'm working on it, just haven't found a good solution 😅
@@whisperinghaircutsasmr why do you have to change the whole setup? I’ve never used a GoPro before so I don’t know. But you could do the professional way… record audio and video on two separate devices and then match them in editing software after the fact! Either way I’m enjoying watching your hair cutting skills! : )
@@thegoodgeneral glad you like it ☺ if I do it the other way arroundit would take me couple more hours to edit it, im not very good with technology, but im keeping my eyes out on how to improve it ☺
I wish asmr videos were wrought when I was a kid I always hated going for my hair cut because it always used to hurt and strain my neck in the chair to get my hair washed or they either wouldn’t blow dry it all the way so it got me soaked the entire time or they used to blow dry my hair to the point of which it felt like my head was on fire the rest of the night
oh im sorry to hear that 🥺 I try to give a good experience to kids in my chair, because if they don't they will have trauma when they are adults and won't be able to go to a hairdresser and actually enjoy it, so many people don't like to go to the hairdresser because of how they were treated there when they were little 🥺 after the haircut with me kids also get little bag of gummy candy ☺️
I have been a barber for 50 years. I have never seen any barber make such a meal over a normal trim. They went over the same place 8 or 9 times. Not the way to make money. End result was good, but the time was over the top.
The sounds of scissor meet the plastic thing, so relaxing
glad you like it ☺️
Very underrated channel. I'm here before the thousands arrive. 😊Keep it up!
thank you 🥺 you are very welcome here ☺️
I love the sounds of your scissors! Very relaxing.
thank you ☺️
Very Nice! A shampoo is always a beautiful way to start! Love it!!!
Thank you! Glad you love it 😊
27:38-28:18 This is the type of meticulousness that gives the tingles and hits all the ASMR triggers Irina! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
that is very good to know, ill work on it ☺️ glad you like it ☺️
@@whisperinghaircutsasmr Doesn’t have to be this particular cutting, anything meticulous like this has that effect. 👍🏻
@@frankeppenridge2027 ill see if I can improve it so ☺
Hello Irina! Great video as always! Was waiting for a new one, glad you’re still rolling them out! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I was away for a bit, I need to get my self a bit more organised with the models 😅 glad you like the video ☺️
I literally just found this channel, great work, my favorite part is the sound made when the scissors comb! New subscriber:)
Thanks for subbing! glad you like it ☺️
How am I just now finding this channel? Excellent cut.
thank you! glad you like it ☺️
The skill of those hands is impressive to say the very least. 😮
thank you, but im just a normal barber ☺️
Underrated? She just STARTED, lol! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️
I think Im doing well for how often I post ☺️
The little snips trimming the edges are the best
thank you ☺️
Hermoso tu canal, tus videos súper relajantes. Un saludo desde Argentina🇦🇷
Gracias ☺️
So quiet in the shop you could hear a pin drop. Another stellar vid, Irina. Have you had to sharpen skully (your scissors) yet?

you can also get a very short scissor cut if you don't have much hair ☺️
Have you watched videos of asmr bald head massage? Some people stay bald just for that
100% sure that you will reach 100k subs at the end of the year❤
would have been nice, but I don't think so 😅 but thank you for believing in me ☺️
Super relaxant

It's just a normal mens scissor cut 😊 glad you like the video 😊
