Hello! I'm a Japanese TRPG player. "Crimson letters" are also popular in Japanese official scenarios. I used your material to play "crimson letters". Thanks to you, the game was very exciting, thank you very much
Going to run this tomorrow. Long time DnD Dm, but it will be my first time running a CoC game(have played a couple of times) wish me luck, this vide has been a great help
Great work, thank you. I will be running this for the first time this week and using your excellent handouts. Would love to see more handouts for other scenarios in the future!
Here is a list of a few i know of, there will be many more. Paper Chase (Ghoul) - its ok. The Auction (Ghoul) - not played Dark Carnival (Ghoul) - not played Stillwaters (heavyily modified, witches) - Needs work but good Wail of the Witch (witch and Ghoul) - Very good Season of the Witch (witch and ghoul) - Good but long Pickman's Model (Ghoul) - not played The Condemned ( Witch) - not played From SOYS: Coven of Cannish (Witch) - good The Warren (Ghouls) - good but basic Monolith (Ghouls) - not played Also I've got my own scenario where you join a ghoul cult - Autopsy: www.drivethrurpg.com/product/367070/Autopsy
You will have tons of subscribers with this quality content. Thanks a lot, this really seems like a scenario worth directing (which i dont say a lot) Cheers!
Hey, thanks for the rundown of the scenario. I'm going to run this next week myself. I have several things planned, but was wondering, if i can contact you to ask for some tips for the finale. Nicely done and keep up the work!
Great video and the dropbox content is perfect. We are streaming our play of Crimson Letters. May we use your handouts, maps and whatnot? We'll definitely give attribution. Is there anything else you require?
I'm really enjoying the series, but your chalk board that outlines the various scenarios, I have a very hard time reading. Even on my largest screen, in full screen mode, the smaller text is illegible. The chalk board font is evocative, but for smaller writing (especially timelines which I've NEVER been able to make out), a larger, easier to read, font would be welcome. Thanks for working on this series! Warm regards, Rick.
Glad you like the videos. All of the chalkboards are linked in the descriptions, so you can follow along, in the newer videos i zoom into areas as well on screen.
This is amazing work! Thank you so much! We're actually going to be running Crimson Letters on Twitch this coming Friday -- would you mind if we utilized this for our session? We'll be glad to credit you online!
@@RPGNook real quick -- the handouts are amazing! There's a handout that's a train ticket that says "Atlanta City, GA" but I think you meant to put in Atlantic City, NJ (that's where Shaunessy and Oaks come from). Any chance you could update and put it in for us to use?
@@SlicesnDices No problem, the updated download is in the description. I took the opportunity to update a few other errors that have been found and hadn't addressed yet, mostly calling Arkham Sanitarium, Arkham Asylum. and Abner's missing name tag.
I ran this scenario, and it took my players 7 sessions to finish it. They got the scenario default Abner Wick assisted finale, but they really loved the whole experience. Is there another scenario of similar non-structure as The Crimson Letters?
Glad you had fun with it! I'd recommend checking out The Code, and to a lesser extent The House of Memphis, both are in Mansions of Madness Vol. 1. I have a video on The Code, and it is a lot of fun, and it will stretch your GMing chops. If you run it let us know how you get on!

Great to hear! Nice to see it getting some love, it is my absolute favourite still even after playing so many more.

Thanks for this and the handouts, top quality. The audio really adds to it too, have left a donation. Keep doing what you do.
Awesome glad you liked it, much appreciated!
I am really enjoying these videos. Thank you so much for breaking scenarios down like this as it will prove invaluable when i start running games.
Glad you like them! Let us know how you get on.
Amazing handouts! Thanks for putting them together and making them avaiable.
Thank you so much for making these videos. You are my lifeline when I get confused by plot points
Happy to help!

More to come for sure, next up for a handout pack is likely Mr Corbitt.
Great video and fun ideas. You seem like a fun Keeper. Keep up the great work!
Thanks. Pretty sure my players would call it cruel and twisted, but i have fun :D
Could i ask what witch and ghoul themed modules you used? Im trying to make a good witch themed mini campaign before i tackle masks of nyarlathotep.

@@RPGNook Thanks! Check us out on twitch.tv/slicesndices at 915PM ET on April 10, or on VOD here on UA-cam a day after.

what program do you use to create those handouts? Photoshop? They're pretty good
yea, photoshop. I'll be doing a series showing how to create a scenario from scratch that will cover the basics of handout and map creation too.
