I don't like a lot of the changes past version 0.5 or so in SSF2 though, like for example, the stupidly long stun times and gravity. A character which has "normal" gravity is considered "very light" such as black mage.

Yes! :) The thing I like about ssf2 it's updates were fast!
And the thing I like about ssbc it has a final smash meter! :)
I played ssbc more, because it's more smoother so it won't be laggy.

Looks nice I've taken a break from SSF2 to play this and I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes Smash Bros.
SSF2 just updated today too, by the way. At least if you're an insider.
I can tell you that the game now has All-Star mode. Not spoiling how it ends, you really need to see it for yourself.
Oh yeah, and Luffy has a home stage now.

In all seriousness tho this new update looks really amazing! The new stages look really gorgeous and all the resprites fit in perfectly to the game! Plus, Ganondorf now has a Doriyah. That...that does put a smile on my face.

SSF2 vs Crusade really is just becoming less and less of a contest at this point. SSF2 releases tons of balance changes, new maps and a huge new gamemode and Crusade goes "okay three more characters now have new sprites, even if nearly the entire roster still has sprites ripped from other games"

They still don't look half as crisp as the SSF2 ones. The gameplay looks fun, yes, but the experience is ruined when your characters have 2 frames of animation lol
I can get lag spikes when in a match and the sprites in SSF2 feel like they took the models from brawl and made sprites out of them. and SSBC is good but I just can't figure out my up and jump buttons so I just put my jump button in the same place as my up button(this works perfectly fine in SSF2) which prevents me from doing up-smash ,so I changed its position ,but it didn't work putting it in different places felt weird and when I was thrown of the stage I offten forget were it is,it's like the only way to play the game is with a wired controler, I hope they fix this.

I'm just amazed how pretty these resprites are, like Yoshi for instance, my goodness it looks like Ultimate Yoshi with the color of brawl Yoshi. I hope one day every one gets a resprite like that, but if you do resprite every one take your time and don't get stressed if people keep asking, as long as you keep making this stuff we will always be grateful. Thank you for this update I am enjoying myself already!

It's not fair to compare the two anyway, SSF2 gets funding from McLeodgaming merch, ads, and donations. He can afford to work on the game. Both are fine games and it's really shit to be arguing about which one is the best like they're full AAA releases.

but when i saw the download: i was not expecting that,but i expected not to expect something so it doesn't count.

@@janmarcoperezbatres2203 I think it was mainly just improvements to the speed/power of his moves. But, they did let you see how much evidence you have above your character portrait so that's good. Honestly, I would've taken anything as long as it made him even slightly better.
@@janmarcoperezbatres2203 hello lead balancer here, we buffed his evidence gimmick. Instead of getting 20 evidence to reach the maximum, you only have to collect 10. All of his moves have been reworked to accommodate the change. Side b also breaks shields on full charge or it can kill characters around 100 or so percent depending on the weight

This is looking so well polished and well done.
I hope in future updates there will be added modes like a sprite version of subspace of smash bros melees adventure mode etc.

1.Add Spyro, Sora,Max, King Dedede, Bandanna Waddle Dee,Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank
2. Redo Bomberman sprites with more appearance based on Super Smash Flash 2
3. Don’t add sanic
4. Add stage of Tower of Heaven with music tracks of indignatint Divinity and Luna Ascension

I know I’m a bit late, but I just wanted to thank the people who made this game. This is my favorite Smash fan game. I started playing this a few years back because I thought it had a lot of potential and seeing it show how much it can improve makes me proud that I supported it even when some people were acting like it was the inferior Smash Flash 2. I hope this game gains even more popularity going forward. You guys have created something great.

I actually love The stages and Remodels plus this is what I was wanting for a long time
Remodels? Those are sprites not models, they are completely different. Sure, cursade does have some models like the cubes in the main menu or the earth in the online mode, but they haven't got remodels as far as I am aware
