Great ! Though have to say that the bass and piano you used in this one gives it a lot more of impact. It's a shame it sounds a little bit distorted in the short.
The structure of music is a very emotional thing, every note is connotated with an emotion, F# and A flat are notes affiliated with fear, anxiety, and existentialism. The music for this movie is perfectly formated in a way to make you feel sad and scared, it gives unto you the emotions of Oppenheimer when he gave humanity the ability to destroy itself
I feel like the craziest thing is that the song was composed with an orchestra, no computers, even the synth was played back inside the room, all of the violinists had to keep up this tempo together and nobody went off rythm, actually insane.
They literally had headphones on that played a click track, preempting the tempo of the upcoming bar. And it was recorded into a computer. You’re talking out of your arse
i love that music composers literally consider EVERYTHING when it comes to movie playlists. especially ludwig, his music is so beautiful and touches everyone emotionally. he really considers what the movies about and composes the music in a way to achieve the desired effect
The structure is basic at first but aftetr all the instruments kick in with the temp change, it feels terrifying beautiful, like a bomb going off, like a grand prix car finalling working the day before, like the anxiety of a first love, like the addreine of climbing a mountain, like the finally momonts before death as everything flashes back. 10/10
The absolute look of concentration of the violinists’ faces. As a violinist myself, the changes in tempo would throw me off but they did it so perfectly! But the fact they had to give that death stare to the sheet music to pull it off. 😂💙 Amazing job guys!
@@Bretaxy lol who are we showing our strength to? to each other right, the use of this 'power' is limited to humans only and it will be unleashed one day
This is why I hate when ppl argue about orchestra over band or the other way around because they both are just so amazing and beautiful especially when they come together
the tempo doesn’t actually increase on the way back down the pattern it’s just played in triplets so seems faster. I think Ludwig even says this in one of his videos

I want to cry, the structure of tempo changes is predictable after the first seconds, but together with the notes, makes this something sublime.
Me too

Ludwig Goransson is such an insane music composer.
He did The Mandalorian as well.
Yeah and book of boba fett
yep him, hans zimmer, Ramin Djawadi are super talented and compose such mind blowing pieces
And tenet soundtrack
That bpm switch is crazy. I can hear the music, i can see the music and i can feel the music
i can feel the music coming inside of me
the music really comes in deep, doesn't it?

It’s gradually speeding up, like a fission reaction.
Edit: well it's blatantly obvious, I ain't a nuclear physicist

It sometimes slows down in the video though
I'm happy I'm not the only one who caught that.

It's like a weird mish-mosh of every cinematic technique Christopher Nolan could think of lol.
I love it
Wow, that’s beautiful! 🥰 I’m excited to watch it when I’m older
Joy, sadness, curiosity and at last acceptance.
Hermoso simplemente hermoso!

This is so beautiful, an absolute joy for my ears. Thanks for this ❤
I like how you can mold this song into how radioactive particles react to materials

If nostalgia was a song:
Beauty expanded to horror-oppenheimer
If the violin had a soul, it would definitely hypnotize human kind😂😂😂
This music feels like a warning!! Warning to not repeat humanity's past mistakes.

Yeah, i can definitely hear the music
I wonder how they were able to keep everybody on the new and changing BPM each shift. Truly amazing.
That's amazing. Well-composed music really evokes awesome feelings out of you. Bravo Oppenheimer soundtrack composer 👏👏
absolutely magnifying!
So much more full on a violin than a piano.
Absolutely stunning amazing
I wanna re-watch Oppenheimer again in cinemas
One word. Incredible.

Beautiful song
BEAUTIFUL!❤
That’s why it’s so beautiful and unique!
I was so nervous it wasn’t gonna be Hans Zimmer, left with a new Hans Zimmer
I think Ludwig is in his own lane

Really cool to see it played
This song is actually amazing, my first time hearing it my brain as a musician broke
At this point i can see the music
I can feel the music ❤❤❤
The set musicians needed click tracks that started at the new tempo two bars ahead of time in order to get the recording right.
i love it🫶
I like the idea that the tempo change kind of aligned with the creation of the nuke two steps forward one step back
I got goosebumps 😮
Beautiful ❤
Now its proven that having ludwig as a name increases by 80% the chances of being a great musician
I thought bpm means blood pressure per minute but it's beat per minute
Feels fitting for the music of a chain reaction
