Thanks for the review Kris. I have not used the Bernat Baby Sport Ombré only the Lion Brand Ombré which I love. It says it’s a 4 wt but I think it’s more of a 3 or very light 4. I do adore the Irish Stitch blanket but at the moment no little ones but my great grandson Levi he’s almost 5 months.
You are so welcome! I agree...lion brand mandala ombre is close to a 3...Bernat Baby Sport Ombre is a solid 3. It doesn't even come close to a 4. I bet that great grandbaby is so sweet! I hope you get lots of time with him.
My ONLY problem is with Acrylic/plastic- I KNOW I KNOW- it is just me so I am going to have to stick with cotton or something else natural. Have you done any reviews on natural yarn? I just worry about acrylic/plastic if a fire and melting. It terrifies me. Do you know if acrylic yarn has any fire melting prevention? What natural yarn would you recommend for babies as you seem honest and I am just an older Nana getting back into crochet again after too long. Thank you kindly.
I love to use Caron Cotton Angel Cakes, but it's a blend. Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton Yarn is nice and it is similar to a 3 or DK weight. It is actually softer before you wash it.
Incredibly helpful and thorough review
Glad it was helpful! Thank you!
