They really set a high bar to reach for all their upcoming releases. But what can I say, maybe they just did reach that! You probably are already aware of it but Spiritbox just dropped a new single "Jaded" today and announced their upcoming EP called "The Fear Of Fear"! Belcarra, absolute classic and it was the second song I've heard of Spiritbox about 4 years ago. Man, you definitely need more Spiritbox in your life! i miss proggybox. ryan loerke was their best drummer, idc i was lucky because when i first saw spiritbox (it was my first ever time at a live show), they ended the set with an encore of belcarra. SO lucky to have witnessed that, as it's no longer a part of their sets.
he was definitely a great drummer but rarely played with them live as they hadn’t played a lot of live shows. all of the drums up until rotoscope are programmed drums so he never actually played them during tracking and very rarely performing live. zev, their permanent drummer, has played this live several times and he kills it. I saw them this year and they didn’t play belcarra but I also saw them last year and they did. i’ve seen them play it at a few recent festivals as well. I think it’s safe to say it’s definitely not off of their list.
Eternal Blue album by Spiritbox is my favorite album of all time next to Gojiras Way of All Flesh album. My favorite song on the album is Constance an Halcyon
