It's always fun to see Americans react to the magazines like they are the best thing ever, when over here they have become a normal part of Lego fan experience. Like, I'm pretty sure half of Polish Lego UA-cam consist of magazine reviews.

In Poland, they cost only about $4 (of course, earnings are also different, but it's still a good price). Currently, hardly anyone buys sets for figures here, because they will appear in magazines later anyway. When the 212th clone figure was added to the lego star wars magazine, some people bought 40 of these and built their own armies
I can’t imagine my lego collection without the magazines.
I have so many figures that I got cheap in the magazines.

As an european, these magazines are awesome, but realistically I don't buy them for the magazine itself but rather just for the cheap minifigure, the magazine is just a cool bonus with the minifigure
i am proud to be able to just go down to the local shop and get one of these , just got the core one that comes in the tin, costed me £7 😭

2:55 The trading cards used to come in the English magazines but as the trading cards weren’t as successful in England as they were elsewhere they stoped making English versions
for me the German magazines are normal because i live in Austria (Austria is a neighboring country of Germany where they also speak German) fortunately we have Ninjago cards 😅
Now the magazines already cost 6 euros

Not all of the magazines are £5/$5/5 euro, for example, the Ninjago legacy ones can be £7 sometimes, but then normal Ninjago ones might be £4.75, it's very weird pricing, and I'm guessing it depends on if the minifigure is hard to make or has a lot of pieces. Good video though!

You literally just described my vacation that I just got back from yesterday 😅
I forgotten how there were Lego Magazines that come with minifigures/minibuilds until I travelled to Europe two weeks ago. I was at a train station in Kiel when I saw a giant advertisement for Lego Ninjago at the window of a bookstore inside the said train station. Curious, I went inside, and lo and behold, I found an abundance of Lego Magazines. The sight was glorious.
I ultimately got 2 German magazines and 3 British ones(I later went to an airport in London, where there's a curious sight of "The Harry Potter Shop"), and I can confirm that the German ones are indeed superior; The German Ninjago magazines in particular included cards for a Ninjago card game instead of...off-topic Harry Potter ones that are in the UK magazine.
I now have General Aspheera, Oni Garmadon, Merge Kai, and a metal tin containing Dojo Lloyd and a Bone Warrior. I also got a Star Wars magazine with a Scout Trooper minifigure.
Germany also had these "extra large" packs where you could get two or three of six possible magazines, which would be randomized in a giant blind bag for just another euro or so(it might even cost the same price as just one magazine!). I got a Lego Ninjago "Feuer-Pack" and a Lego Batman "Super Batman-Power" pack. I haven't opened them yet, so here's hoping I get Scuba Nya and Shazam from them! (edit: I didn't watch the entirety of your video and just found out that you already talked about this with your Lego City magazine

In the uk in most stores they have so many lego magazines omg like near the newspapers ,today I got a magazine with a collectors tin and 2 minifigs and also an avengers one with 2 minifigs

In indonesia,there is an annual book sale called big bad wolf,and one time i went there. I saw so much lego magazines and comics it was at a point i had the full collection of chima comics and an exclusive batman figure

I love these magazines, the English magazines are the ones that get imported to my country and I am happy about that but the thing is I usually take some of the ninjago figures to make new figures that resemble me and my friends
Hi Bricks by mind, I normally don’t comment to much on videos but when I saw this video, I knew I had to. This is a great and interesting video may I say it perfectly illustrates why I love where I live, I live in EU Denmark, so almost every month I get to go to my local kiosk in my supermarkets to pick up a Lego magazine, I don’t know how many I have now but I have SO many, they are great, for me they cost 7 dollars or 50 kr for me, i started getting them back in 2014 and then missed 2015 but got back in 2016, and so almost ever since that time I got one, I just wanted to leave this comment telling my story for these magazines, they are truly amazing and nostalgic, I still have ever single one🤟🏼
At one point, there actually were ninjago magazines in US stores, I remember seeing them. But they weren’t the most recent issues and were very infrequent, im guessing most stores just sadly didn’t care enough to push them properly.

Once I went to a store and bought a double pack of magazines (like the city one, but I could see the figures inside it). And one of the magazines came with DOTD Kai and the other one came with S.O.G Cole. Last year I aso found one that came with Island Jay and the 2 headed keeper, but since I already had them I didnt buy it.
Gorgeous card! I am happy that other countries get to enjoy all this Ninjago content, especially with all these add-ons. But looking at the detail in some of these, if they sold these in the states it would be as simple as they could get away with.
We actually used to get cards here with the magazines in the UK but I don't think we get them anymore
Fun fact: there was a trading card game in the UK magazines, there were 3 series of it between 2016 and 2018, and you could get gold cards in magazines, both ninjago and nexo knight magazines!
Despite what BricksByMind said, I live in southern England and I have had a couple of magazines with the trading cards. Sometimes they would be for different themes
I’ve been collecting the English version for 3 years and never received cards (except for the most recent issue, which had a Harry Potter card), maybe the ones you have are from older magazines?
Here in Finland we do have some of the magazines, but only for a few themes, and even then they're always at least a month behind everywhere else (by design)
Hey Mind, if you want to learn more about the Ninjago card game, this other Lego UA-camr I watch called DuckBricks did a full video explaining it. Just look up DuckBricks Ninjago card game & it should pop right up as the 1st result. As an American I never heard of the card game either before he explained it. I’d definitely recommend looking it up.

I was able to find a bunch in my hometown in Canada , I got the pink joker ,a hairy potter character , Poe dameron, lex Luther, Batman with his jet , lego city fire helicopter with pilot , off road police atv, lego ninjago came with Kai an bone king , also aspheera, cole golden dragon
The dragon Kai kart is actually rare and it could be worth around 20€

this video reminded me i have stacks of ninjago cards from when lego used to do them i have a lot from TOE and possession, sadly they stopped these packs at least where I'm from

Id recommend potentially getting the legacy magazine from the uk which has Lloyd and one of the bone warriors. Instead of that blister pack they’re now in cool metal tins on the front

Just FYI, Canada Sells the Ninjago, Batman, City, and Jurrasic World Magazines in Walmarts as well as Indigo's/Chapters
in my country every magazine comes out 7 months later than the english versions witch is annoying because i dont get any figs at the time the shows air in english
I bought a bag of blue ocean magazines for 8€ and it had 3 magazines with 4 mini lego sets and 5 ninjago cards, 5 Jurrasic World stickers.
He fun thing is I'm always complaining about the fact that there's soo many Lego ninjago magazins with sometimes 2 minifigures in one Magazin or that the Marvel one (which I love) always have minifigures but the the star wars one (although it's nice) sometimes don't even have a minifigure, I mean why does the ninjago one has 2 figures in one Magazin and sometimes the figures come in a tin box and the star wars one be like "nahh let's make another At-At 😂" but then I realize some countries don't have the Magazin at all 😂

The reason why the Ninjago Magazines don't come with the trading cards in the UK is simply because the game doesn't work. It is incredibly badly designed and I assume some kind of policies mean they can't be sold to kids that maybe doesn't exist elsewhere in Europe.

Sometimes living in Europe has its perks.
England did used to have ninjago cards,but after SOG they stopped for some reason.I am unsure as to why,as from my experience they sold out quite fast and were pretty marketable.

I never knew that they were still doing trading cards because in the UK, I stopped seeing them since 2019
In Quebec their is magasines only in one store in the old town

If anyone is interested in just getting the minifigure packs look for a Bricks and Minifigs store in your area. They’re a third party Lego store that sells used, sealed, minifigures and bulk parts. #notsponsored lol

Canada would have been a much closer journey. We’ve got Lego magazines in Walmart, Shoppers, and Indigo here, although they do tend to be months behind. The current Ninjago one has Dragon Cole.

In the netherlands You can get 2 lego magizines for 5,99 euro's

I absolutely love the lego magazines, because they were my childhood in a nutshell, going to the lego store, getting a free magazine whether I purchased something or not, it all just made my day.

i have al the ninja in dragon form minifigure from the lego megazines. thats €24 for 4 megazines and al 4 dragon form ninja's (best deal ever)
As a Serbian its wierd to sve magazine seling for 5 euro here they are sold for 1 euro a d 50 cents or 2 euro
One of the legacy magazines I saw once had RONIN (from the gardens) in it. Because I was at a public place I couldn't get myself to buy it and I heavily regret it
