Thanks for a great trip to a local fishing community on the Arabian sea! The friendly people remind me a little of being in smaller towns in Puerto Rico...always so eager to help one have a good time!
@@user-yt9yw6uf4m Thank you! Someday I would love to visit your area! At the moment I'm taking care of my mom and her landlady and I have no ability to travel...but perhaps in the future! =)

20:34 "eebeedibee dooba" 😂 oh Stew, at least you tried appreciate your effort man!❤ Malayalam is the toughest Indian language but equally good for your brain as it's challenging.. you can learn from foreign vloggers like InvertedCoconut, Learn Malayalam with Elikutty etc.. Since Kerala haa the highest literacy rate you can still manage with English.. Back2Life and LukeDamant are travel vloggers who also fell in love with the state❤
❤ I stumbled upon your travel vlog by accident Stew. You are so cool and down-to-earth, not afraid to step outside the beaten path that the western tourists normally take, mingle with the locals and, clearly, totally enjoy all of that, no trace of artificiality. I live in UK but hail from Kerala and been to Kochi this June. But ashamed to say, l didn't enjoy it half as much as you did, it is the mindset l suppose. As you say when you signoff "always remember, life is beautiful" ❤❤
True.... I am in Israel and had a small accident. Resting at home feeling bored and somehow bumped into your videos of Palluruthy, now I am fan of you Yaar. Good man... ❤❤❤
oh yah, for breaky (that dosa is a staple, a different type than the super crispy ones), appam and stew, and puttu and kadala curry and puri and potato curry or mash (all of them are normally aten for breaky in the south). Also Appam aka palappam (there's many types of appam, so palappam is the right one and chicken curry)
@stewthewanderer Hi Stew, only just come across your content, love it. Your so genuine and sincere, esp compared to some others lol. I'm going to Kerala for the first time in 4wks, late November. Just wanted to ask you, how was it riding a scooter around ? Do you need to have your wits about you the whole time or did you feel relatively safe. Thanks in advance.
Hi, it is not safe to drive with a scooter on the roads in kerala unless you are a local. It's difficult even for others from different states of India. The drivers in kerala are really talented and used to it. The vehicles generally go really fast and the roads have a lot of blind spots and turns
Mr.Stew, your vedio is very beautiful. Thank you so much dear Mr. Stew.Balangir, Odisha. ( India).
@@stewthewanderer that’s interesting. I have a strong constitution in other countries and have never gotten sick even from roadside vendors in Mexico (I’m originally from Canada). I was very worried about traveling alone to India. But after seeing your video about Kerala, I got interested in visiting there. Is Kerala (South India) safe for foreign tourists? Please help with information from Kerala residents regarding this matter. Honestly I'm afraid to visit a big city in North India which is very scary. There is no travel agent here who dares to offer tour packages to India because of a lack of interest.
Comparatively kerala is safe in india. Almost all people are educated and respect others, but dont belive people blindly.... But this man handling things so nicely.....

Pls avoid traveling to the Golden Triangle when first visiting India. Do explore the South starting with Kerala and then head on to the Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep, North East. Finally u'll be ready for the Northern states. By then u'll have enough exposure to the chaos in India.. India is pretty safe for tourists if u avoid the slums and super crowded places which even a lot of locals won't visit.
