Hi painless 360 I've followed your instructions 😊 & all went perfectly well you gave a lot of time up to help me so thank you. There is a problem with tandem x20s using flight modes you can set up in flight modes with same results the issue flying a helicopter is the first bank of 3 way switches work perfectly so "back" position normal mode..middle position flight mode 1...forward position flight mode 2.. now shifting to second bank of switches the "middle " position will be flight mode 3...(forward position flight mode 4) ... now switch transition from flight mode 2 to flight mode 3 should be just that ... but using "flight modes or your logic set up" 🤔 that's the problem it isn't you have to send 1st bank of switches to back position first before you can move to 2nd bank of switch to engage flight mode 3 & flying helicopters makes this very difficult because your in some complex manoeuvre . The radiomastertx16 & futaba 14 & 18 fluently just flow back & forth fluently ethos x20s needs there engineers to update there software or explain how to program their x20s to achieve this I've contacted them & the last 3 emails I've received nothing back . The only thing I've learnt with logic switches is that you explained it very clearly how they work so thankyou for that i dont doubt you will look at my problem again like a ferret down a rabbit hole i just hope ive explained the issue clearly 🤔 thanks painless 360 for your help.
I don’t know if you can do this with Ethos, but with EdgeTX and OpenTX you can set a momentary switch to adjust a global variable and then use that for channel value. If you disable trims, you can use a trim switch to adjust values up and down. You can make the virtual switch act like it’s any number of positions you want.
Indeed! Edge/OpenTX is a lot more powerful in some areas than ETHOS. ua-cam.com/video/ZnHjA20dMrU/v-deo.html shows the trim trick. Thanks for the comment!
Excellent tutorial, Lee! Thanks! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Best of luck with it. If you find a bug in ETHOS then let FrSky know. Happy flying!
