Absolutely gutted to be out but Northampton had the bit between their teeth today. Better team won today no doubt, I’ve a ticket for the final so if no Irish team makes it I’ll back the Saints!

The winning try by Northampton is thanks to some dreadful shocking defending by Munster, I think Zebo was amongst those missed tackles. You can lose but that was gutless
Zebo carrying an injury in second half. Munster depleted.
Zebo was most energetic leading chants of his name. Less interested in tackling.
He's definitely got a gut alright.
I was at the game and Munster were all over us for 30 minutes. N’pton worked very hard but didn’t do anything other than run fast and straight from deep. Hendy hand off was nice to see.
Game was gone before then with the try from Saints 22. The last try was just proof of that. Well done Saints

@@EOINFO2K9 it’s the question on all of our minds lad. Obviously not one of Zebo’s strengths, I was more surprised with Seán O’Brien. That left wing paid lots of dividends for Northampton and we just didn’t have the fight or the quality by the looks of it, I’m sorry to say.

Munster need a few significant signings
Brilliant watch from a (semi) neutral point of view. Munster fought hard, but they really needed to go into the sheds with a lead. English clubs are producing a lot of young players with promise, it feels like we are on the edge of something.
What a crowd, what a team !
Mitchell and Augustus made a big difference when they came on. I like the look of Hendy. He is one to watch for a future international spot IMO.

All season, teams against Northampton are looking gassed in the second half, even the backs. I think it must be their tempo.
I'm happy with the win but Northampton are going to have to tighten up their 3rd quarter play a lot if they want to beat the Bulls next week, Munster looked out of it after half time but Northampton kept giving them sloppy turnovers and cheap penalties.
Munster have made no progress under Rowntree and Prendergast. Zebo is finished and most of them just not good enough but we knew that already. Munsters defence was shocking for a so called professional team. Zebo has been bluffing for a long time

Just watched this, normally when munster lose a game to familiar opposition they bounce back but not this current team, too many 30 + players on board and simply not good enough at this level, clean out needed and quickly and will include management in that, munster won't win in Europe under rowntree and too many average players in the province, time to bring home o gara.
O'Gara is too smart to go to Munster ATM. They are in disarray at board level. It would be a massive step down for him, regardless of his history with them, he's not a fool either.
Munster have lots of injuries too and this is a serious Northampton side.

The fact Northampton only scrapped home when the bench came on at home against such a poor team is more damning on the premiership.

Saints’ team was 2nd/3rd string. Stormers lost yesterday anyway so Saints don’t need to worry about playing them again anytime soon.
