I love the time-lapse photos of you driving!
Thank you Tina x 🇦🇺💙
Great trip and video. Jasper is certainly growing up fast eh. Lovely kid.
Too fast 😅💙🙏
Love this series ! Jasper is a real character ! The characters you meet and the Fundraisers for the needs we don't hear about! Thankyou for the exposure !
😍
It’s so incredibly beautiful - the people and country 🇦🇺💙
This is the first test message from me on UA-cam . Hi from New Zealand, It is a great show. Keep it going, Is there a Feel Good Family New Zealand fan club. See you tomorrow.
Hello and welcome! Thank you for watching - we have a wonderful audience in NZ but don’t think there is a fan club 😊🙏
We could see the irritation in Paul’s face at the quarantine border Check point 🤣🤭. No words needed.
🤬😂👍🇦🇺💙
wow guys! epic video, you know more about the hill than i do 😂😂😍😍
Haha! So great 🙏 we love it 😍
Especially the grey nomads!! 😂😂
Seriously too funny!! He got that line from an episode of Bluey - worth a watch and very funny 😆
Haven't seen you guys for a while your all looking great
Cheers Peter! Hope you are travelling well 🇦🇺🍻🕺
Loving this series, such an enjoyable watch
Thank you 🙏 so much good content coming up 😊🇦🇺🍻
Talking of Ozzie milkshakes. I remembering 1966 in the Monterey cafe Leeton NSW. A spider called " Bodgies Blood" Coke, strawberry flavour and icecream. The best.
The ‘spider’ needs a re- introduction! Have you been to Bells Milk Bar in Broken Hill? 55 different shakes 👍👍
Yes I have had a Strawberry malted at bells milk bar and enjoyed it. I guess i am still a kid at heart.
I have to say I love your video's and your zone caravan has convinced me to upgrade to a Zone. I am at the other end of the life spectrum and have travelled the world plus a lot of Australia but mainly in small bites at holiday times.Hearing about your adventures has inspired me now that I am retired and still healthy. Just one question have you done a video relating to say weekly average costs eg diesel and van park or other accomodation costs.
Cheers.
Interesting time, thanks for sharing.😂
J is keeping us entertained 😅💙
When I heard you say “fresh produce” in Broken Hill I yelled “NO” and I had a giggle and saw your faces “Bugger”. That’s why I have frozen veg the freezer or cook everything eg spaghetti sauce and you have good meals when crossing the borders fresh that’s ok I have bought broccoli I blanche it a couple of days before and freeze and blueberries/berries in general freeze I tell em and they look at them and has long as they’re hard frozen no worries. I always download the quarantine guide and I call them if not sure and we have a big salad at Manna Hill 😂
I saw the S..box rally cars leaving Newcastle a week ago…seen the variety club one going across from Karumba on the Savannah Way to Cairns a couple of years back.
These are all great suggestions thank you 🙏 we just didn’t have our heads on 😅
Wife and I nearly cried laughing at Jasper’s comment “especially the grey nomads !” 😂
Oh my gosh, he got that line from ‘Bluey’… the episode is called ‘RoadTrip’ we’ll worth a watch for a great laugh 😂
Gotta luv the SA fruit and veg stops 😂 …. Gr8 ep guys as always🤙
We will hopefully learn (this time!)
spent an enjoyable hour touring Aus ❤ and again a trip down memory lane...100yrs ago - G/Pa from lush Devon, his wife ( maid big - house) and one year old first job - Railway Manna Hill - G/Ma never forgave him!! Safe travels - watch out for the wildlife Thank you Jan Adelaide
Such amazing history and beautiful memories 🇦🇺🙏💙
To get that nozzle out, you need the good old Tupperware Pickled Onion grabber LOL. I hope you are now tying that nozzle to the handle.
Haha! Yes definitely tying it… once I find the pickle grabber to retrieve it…. 😂
That’s awesome you got to see the s box rally. The charity road events are fantastic. We love the milk bar and the sculpture park. Bugger on the quarantine. Loving this road trip. 😊
Great effort to raise so much money!! Thanks as always guys x o
Jasper, get ahead of the grey nomads 😂😂. Safe travels, hope to meet u at Hanger O in June.
Hahaha!! I’m still laughing 😂 he got that from an episode of Bluey! Worth watching 💙😊
We drove all the way out to Kingaroy after that Bluey episode to see the big peanut and were a bit disappointed it’s not like the one in Bluey.
Fantastic episode thanks gives me inspiration for another road trip !
We’d love to follow the ‘Heritage Rail Trail’ Broken Hill NSW to Port Pirie SA - worth checking out this journey too 👍🇦🇺
What great timing your trip is, we are planning the same route from Brisbane to Peterborough. Picked up some good tips. Keep on travelling safe.
That’s great and you’ll have the best time 💙🇦🇺😊 travel safe and enjoy every moment 🏕️
Great episode team. I'm still catching up with episodes. Was too busy caravaning around the South Island for three months to watch regularly. You meet some interesting characters in your travels. Thanks guys. 😊
Great to see your comment and we hope your trip was incredible 💙🙏
We are grey nomads !
Paul is greying quicker than a greyhound at the moment 😅💙🍻
wott a luvley famale love the vid sorey im dislecit 😎
🇦🇺💙👍🍻 love it!
Beautiful station 😊 good weather and awesome drive 🚗 👍 those csrs are amazing 👏 good work for the cause 😀 👍 Awesome content legends 😀 you guys blow my socks off , great content 👍Greetings and cheers 🍻 mate from south africa 🇿🇦
So good thank you 🙏
Nice work guys. Love it.😊
Thank you Joel 🇦🇺🍻💙👍
Nice Vid, Thanks. Rule #1. always plan ahead for SA border. A couple of years back we forgot that we had a punnet of tomatoes in the fridge and when we crossed the border at Yamba. Lost our tomatoes and copped a $275.00 fine. Happy trails
We can’t do that again! And as you say the fine is another good reason to be more aware 😅👍🍻
Let's Go.
Woohoo! 🇦🇺🙏💙
ayers rock
The Best!
"Especially the Grey Nomads" - what is wrong with us, Jasper, my lad? As Canadians, we are doing Brisbane to Darwin for the month of June. Probably won't see you, but we'll do our best to not be 'one of those' Grey Nomads. ha ha
Oh my gosh, he has caused a stir!! This is a line from the most popular aussie kids cartoon show ‘Bluey’ the episode is called Road Trip and the cartoon family try to stay ‘in front’ on the grey nomads - you will get a big belly laugh from it we’re sure - hope to see you guys along the journey and safe travels 🙏💙🇦🇺
G'day Paul & Katie, we loved your content as usual. We also loved our time in the 'Hill' last year, popped in the Toyota dealership Saturday morning, and needed a battery for the LC key ,no stock the guy drove Downtown found a battery no extra charge..real service. The quarantine in S.A.... same deal, a large bag of fresh fruit & vegetables. I put the produce in the bin provided watched by Old Mate, we were asked to look in the van the first draw I opened for the inspector one orange missed during the clean out ...quite an interrogation and a $403 fine in the mail .my facial expressions were worse than yours , there were adjectives used. Safe travels..
Whoa! That’s a decent fine and pretty crappy really 🤬 well we think this will be our last (repeated) mistake on quarantine (hopefully) 😅💙😊
Yes it was lousy really, the wife accidentally missed the orange she ended up in tears ,but we learnt a lesson to check twice ✔️
Who said eating fruit and veggies was good for you 😅
Lol. As frustrating as it is we constantly get caught out on boards, I’m
Sure you guys had a good laugh back when editing 😂😎
Happy travels, stay safe.
😅😜 I’m good… Katie’s still annoyed 😬😅 seriously though we should know better it’s our 3rd time through that exact checkpoint!! Oh well, onward and upward toward the next woolies 😂
We did the same thing in April with a big bag of grapes😢 I would add Sufi Bakery best sour dough. Opposite the tourist information centre. Great pies 🥧 too. .
Great tip and thank you 🙏 we will add to next visit 💙🇦🇺😊
So sorry about your freshly bought fruit and veggies . We travel to SA from WA and back occasionally and am always stressed about quarantine both ways . Have learnt over the years to take nothing through quarantine into SA or WA and either cook up or cut up and freeze solid anything fruit or veg . We felt your pain at forgetting this time . Safe travel to the NT .
Great advice thank you 🙏 😊
@@TheFeelGoodFamily I forgot to mention honey . No honey at all regardless of where you bought it ,can be brought into WA but store bought honey ie, processed honey is ok to be taken into SA . SA do not accept raw honey and we were told by quarantine at Pinnaroo quarantine a few weeks back that people try to get away with putting raw honey into empty containers bought in the supermarket but they can tell the difference . There is also aQuarantine booklet that gives all details for each state’s quarantine dos and don’ts from each state. Good luck next time .
Hi guys... loving watching the 3 of you, travel.
We have a question for you? How do you do the Star map, video or time-lapse.
Thank you 🙏 we use GoPro 9,10 or 11 (we have one of each from over the years). It has Timelapse and Nightlapse options to shoot still or video content very simple to use 🙏💙🇦🇺 we also use a power bank connected to the GoPro so we can shoot 10-12 hours continuously- this is then fixed to a tripod to keep still and occasionally we add a small LED LIGHT to ‘paint’ the subject so that it has light while the sky stays dark 😅🍻💙
As soon as you said you were going to buy fruit and vegetables in Broken Hill we both looked at each other and said aren’t they crossing into SA today.
Rookie mistake right!! Katie is still a little 🤬😬😅
That’s so funny we were thinking the same!
She’s so cranky still 😬😅
My thoughts too. Poor Katie.
We said the same thing. Oh well it is what it is 😊
It is absolutely ridiculous the quarantine check points as they are not manned 24/7. It seems to be hit and miss. Used to do 2 up trips from Brisbane to Perth every week and a lot of the times there wasn't even anyone there.
We wondered if the produce confiscated that we purchased in BH had actually arrived by truck from SA!! Crazy 😜
Just a note of WARNING: The AusPost Parcel Lockers & Parcel Collect are for 'Parcels' only, not letters or envelopes. We have fallen foul of having a letter sent to a Parcel Locker address which was returned to the sender as it was not a Parcel....!!
Very good advice and we’ll mention in next update thank you 🙏 😊
By the way have just noticed your car wheels and love the design of them
They are new from ROH - we had to upgrade with the GVM etc 💙
You will have to talk about that in the upgrade video
Are you regularly emptying your Catch Can? Don’t neglect that job. A full catch can will cause very expensive problems.
Thank you and yes 👍
ohhhhh & i asked you last week about your dash organiser, where is this from its amazing! also your car seat covers please x
Hi Marni, yes…. Sorry for the delayed response… I think we replied but maybe it isn’t showing on your end? All good and the organiser and seat covers are from MSA 4x4 accessories 👍👍🇦🇺 you can visit their website www.msa4x4.com.au 🍻💙🏕️
@@TheFeelGoodFamily thank you guys, love your work xx
The checkpoint!!! We had commented that it must be different rules from NSW to SA than Vic to SA. Then next minute!!! Did you get fined? Friends of ours last year copped a $400 fine for their bag of grapes!!!
Very fortunately no fine! 😅
A webber pizza yummy!!!
Same tonight… so good!!
Hi Paul, we’ve just started watching your video’s. In the clip for the Living Desert Starview Primitive Campground (where we have also booked for a few nights at the beginning of September) you mentioned that you got permission to use your drone out there to take some photo's/video's. Can I please ask who you had to write to for permission. We'll be doing a trip at the end of August leaving from Brisbane heading down through Lightning Ridge, Bourke, Tibooburra, Broken Hill, Peterborough (and everywhere in between), up through the Flinders Ranges and Birdville Track to Birdsville before heading back out along the way to home and we would love to take some of those awesome aerial photos while we are out there as well. Safe travels to you, Katie and Jasper and we look forward to seeing more of your video’s.
That sounds like a fantastic trip! You could try contacting the BH Council - we worked with them a couple of years ago in our last visit and produced content for our tv show. I do not think they give permission for personal drone photography unfortunately. Safe travels guys
@@TheFeelGoodFamily Thank you very much for replying. We are definitely looking forward to an amazing holiday. Will look into the drone use for a few quick pics and see how we go.
Just remember you will be grey nomads one day 😂
Paul’s already there!! The line Jasper says is from a ‘Bluey’ episode called ‘Road Trip’ - worth a watch for a great laugh 😂
Katie, Paul and Jasper great video as always
Quick question how do you fly your drone in areas of limited internet and where you haven’t set up star link (ie when you’re driving)
Hi Barry, we have a DJI Mini Pro 3 - we don’t use the internet to fly it at all… so no issues when no service - hope this helps?
I would have thought that experienced travellers like yourselves would have known you can’t take fresh produce into South Australia.
Right!! 😂
Can you please tell me what pizza base you use. We went to Broken Hill after watching your episode last time.
The packet is green and says - ‘2 Pizza Bases - Thin Crust’ Woolworths brand - Coles do the same also 🙌💙
Hi there, I've used my phone hyperlapse for forward facing videos but it uses so much space on the phone. How do you do your filming?
90% is in GoPro cameras 😊💙🙏
We booked 2 nights in Broken Hill and ended up staying 10😂
So true!! How easy to do to make the most of it 💙🇦🇺
Awesomely fun video
Just curious, did somebody drop a fart at 7:02??
HahahA!! Not that we know of …. 😂😬
Hey Jasper - check Dad's hair carefully... there might be greys...😅
Jasper! Just spotted your Z tracks!
Ayeeeee..... you can't fool me - I saw the broccoli on the pizza 😂
So true… don’t tell him 😂
It’s his lighting bolt… totally convinced it makes him run faster!! 🤩
Same dinner tonight and no broccoli cause they took it at the border 😂
Hope you donated a house brick
We donated cash 💰
