- There's no better way to start your new year than to review your style, purge, and organise your closet. Last year I shared a large purge where as this year Im trimming some excess. I will discuss how to find themes in your closet to redefine your style or if you want to start over how to define your style terms. Followed by a light purge and reveal.

Purging is vital for me Carolyn. My very narrow walk in closet has clothing items that fall on the floor. It is single file with a dash of claustrophobic tendencies.😮😅

One thing I’m doing to reset is to try a month or two with low buy or no buy. My closet looks a lot like yours and I’ve found I need to wear what I have and by not buying things it’s helping me see what I wear and what I can get rid of. I also wrote down everything in my closet that I need to wear and if I don’t I think that’s a sign it can probably go. It’s helpful.
I feel seen. I really to purge because there are some items that I love but can no longer wear. Also, I need to let go of some bags that I no longer reach for. I would love to look more polished and tailored, so I have to purge soon to make way for the shopping I need to do.

I definitely have some underwear I've had for twice as long 🙃 This is officially my intervention to let them go

Lmaooo i plead the 5th! Omg I don’t know what happened Sabrina! Don’t ask me questions I don’t know! Carlos has a whole close to hisself in the hallway to our bathroom 😂😂 which was probably meant to be a coat closet. And then he also has a closet at his office with his suits. Im going to focus on not shopping until spring. 😂
I keep my undies for longer than the recommended time limit... the quality of underwear today just isn't the same!

Where do you drop your clothes because your my size and I will definitely pick them up. I drop mine at the goodwill on 122nd 123 3rd Ave. They have big drop off bins right in the front..
That purge stressed me out a little bit lol. I was like give me that skims set. If you decide to sell anything on postmark or some other platform let me know. I am a thrifter and I am all for buying second hand.
Normally i would but honestly I don’t love the quality of most of the items I’m letting go. Usually i would resell but this time. Smh. I don’t want to, I even feel bad donating because i feel the items won’t last long. So i want to find another recycling alternative.
