Really love this channel; for whatever reason I find a lot of piano UA-camrs (and UA-camrs in general) profoundly annoying 😛 but not this one, it's great stuff
I’m a beginner, been teaching myself for 1 year and wanted to work on chords a bit more. I got to level 4 tonight and will try to continue tomorrow! Thank you for this!
This was fun…I extended your level 5 by adding a stride left hand…meaning full octave before hitting the chord…level 7 is the most challenging for me….tks and Happy Holidays!
Level 7 reminds me the easy version of "comptine d'un autre été" of Yann Tiersen i've learned recently. Thanks for this exercises, very helpful for improvisation
Wow What a good lesson. All these cord I can play also the inversion. Think im about level 5, and thank you for Your piano cause, Im so happy. Thanks Oluf Denmark
I love it when the left hand do bass-chord, but playing the bass an octave bellow, holding the pedal and jumping the hand to play staccato chord. It's kinda tricky but so useful.
Thank you, Maestro Jazer....and very HAPPY and PROSPER (and funy) 2025 for you and your family. We will continue learning piano with you. Un abrazo desde la isla de La Palma.
Great video as always! I love watching your content whenever I'm feeling a bit burnt out from playing or just feel stuck in general. I'm 17 years old, so when I say I have 11 years of piano experience, that means absolutely nothing. 😅 Even though I loved piano dearly and had weekly 30 minute lessons for these 11 years, I can't say I'm really all that great of a pianist. Most of it's my fault, some my teachers fault, I suppose. I never really practiced properly and took piano seriously in general until maybe 2-3 years ago. Even now, I struggle to read sheet music and though I play moderately difficult pieces, it's nothing in the scale of what other pianists of 10 years can do. I'm truly hoping that I'm not the only one in this boat, haha. I think many people can relate to being a kid and hating practicing anything that is even remotely boring. Hopefully this doesn't seem so strange to be lackluster after so many years! I'm doing my best to try and improve with proper technique and learn how to truly master the piano now. Your videos are super helpful and keep me centered :)
yes. The inversion may change the lowest note to something else than the actual chord but when all 3 notes are played "together" theyre still the same notes, just in different order
I want to understand Chord's progression, but can never find it anywhere on UA-cam and google. That romanic numericals, how do I know which is which? I'm new to music so no matter how much I read it's of no use to me. Help this rookie out a little, please.
Hello, your videos are great, but they cannot be set to Slovak subtitles. Can you please add them as a setting option - Slovak subtitles? I will be very grateful to you.
Level 1 , you could of slowed it down a bit for the people who are trying to master their positioning and what chord is which. The part where you said "2 steps down". ,
How many levels did you complete? 😁
Level 4🥹
All of them (I learnt the alberti bass from Czerny and it was a revelation)
level 4 🙂
I'm in level 7 now, dealing with some hand coordination issues.. one of my hands is misbehaving 😅
I'm a cheater.. I did exercises from this video "4 Epic Piano Exercises You'll Play Over and Over Again!" so I've started from level 5 =)
Really love how you carefully explain everything
thank you

Happy New Year! :)
Nice, will practice 5-7 😅
It would be useful if you could have accompanied this fruitful lesson with a sheet music of the 7 chord levels.❤❤❤❤
Hi! Happy Holidays! I'm a beginner, I hope you make a video about how to remember family chords
Thanks Jazer. Level 5 my left hand came up and slapped me for making it do something new 😂. Cheers from Ireland
Nice work! 🎉
Hi Jazer, could please show us, how one can add a melody line on top of this progression? Thanx in advance 😊
Morning thanks alot for your great job you are doing am learning much from you be blep

1. Block chords
2. Arpeggiated chord
3. Chord inversions
4. Block chord in LH, arpeggiated inversion in RH
You are amazing
Actually I started this exercises yesterday and can now do the 6th exercise easily 😊
Chord progression style reminds me of “Truman Sleeps” by Phillip Glass. In a different key of course.
Done all 7 levels successfully 🎉

pls do to level 15 😅 or do a rythm exercise i struggle with those
Hi Jazer, what is your outro music? It's so pretty! :)
What progression would work best for minor keys?
I want to learn
I did all of them
❤❤❤
This is so sweetie
Level 7 is challenging. Specially with staccato on one hand
So for base-chord, base-chord, you're playing the pinky as the base, even when it's an inverted chord?
yes. The inversion may change the lowest note to something else than the actual chord but when all 3 notes are played "together" theyre still the same notes, just in different order

Level 3 has massive “The Scientist” by Coldplay vibes.
should we be peddling them?
Please we need some Nigerian praise and worship chord progression 🙏🏽😭

All da best to you. Happy prosperous 2025....

What about fingering?
Idk why I thought this was a beginner one lol, I made it to level 5 before my fingers and wrists combust into flames and fell off.

I can only do up to level 5
Lvl 8 publish the song😁
Level 3 sounds like The Scientist by Coldplay
This is so good when just playing chords. But applying it to a song is harder. Having to keep the beat etc.
that level 7, very very Golden Hour...i failed that one...lolololol
♡🙏■💟🎄💟■🍃🎄🎄💜🖼🎆🎹 ♡ THANK YOU , Jazer □💜☆🎹🌈🎇🎹🐚■🎹🎄🎄🎄☆🎼🎹■♡🍃🎄💝🎄
Logging off at level 5
Why isn't this progression called 1-6-3-7?
You take the c major scale and it is the chord of the 6th, 4th, 1st, and 5th note, thats why its called VI, IV, I, V
vi-IV-I-V hmmm
Beato? :D
"How to play some Einaudi style músic"
I couldn’t go past level 4
Level 1 , you could of slowed it down a bit for the people who are trying to master their positioning and what chord is which. The part where you said "2 steps down". ,
