Now that I’m able to watch this, I don’t hate vanilla persay, I hate when vanilla is prominent or synthetic. I also don’t appreciate smelling like a cupcake. I enjoy vanilla as a basenote as a compliment to a white florals to just make it creamy, not sweet. Not into gourmands.

Vanilla is my favorite fragrance note. It's so versatile and just adds the complete finish to fragrances. I agree with you about Hugo Boss it's so good and underrated! Green top is your color, You look gorgeous ! I love this vid on Vanilla . La Belle JPG is such a win fragrance for me. I love it’s pear juicy opening too and then how pear evolves into it sweetness just how u say a “poached “sort of pear-peach vanilla beauty . I get a peach with the pear 🧡🧡

I love vanilla scents on ladies. Black orchidee vanille, Mon Guerlain, shalimar and Lune Feline from Atelier des ors are my favorites so far

Deep Red! I loved that one in high school too! For some reason, back then I felt it kinda smelled a little similar to my high schoolex bf's cologne but with a feminine twist (what I now know as unisex lol). I bought a bottle to keep for the nostalgia, it's very underrated.

That 3 note thing is just insulting - also explains why so many things I try end up having notes I hate that we’re not listed on any site. Thanks for sharing that information, and for your recommendations! I have to be careful with vanilla because it can go really stale on me. I do like a few from Comptoir Sud Pacifique because they stay sweet and true on my skin rather than turning on me. Also Manifesto and Mont Blanc Signature are really nice, IMO. Thanks again!

I used to think I hated all vanilla because I equated it with cheap vanilla bean scent like from bath and body works, and if a fragrance goes anywhere near that then I can’t stand it. But sometimes Vanilla can be nice, like in This Is Her or if it’s gets very bourbon vanilla like, so I agree!

I don't think I'm a vanilla hater because I love many containing it but they do have to be different and not plain or obviously vanilla. You mentioned some of my favorite edgy vanillas. I also love Givenchy L'Interdit edp, L De Lolita Lempicka, Burberry Brit Red and JPG Classique Essence, plus others I'm sure I'm forgetting.
Vanilla is so ubiquitous that finding a one you love is #tough, I reckon my favourite vanilla atm is 34 saint Germain by diptyque edt. Beautiful signature scent for a man

I know you didn't mention this scent in this video but I wanted to tell you I finally got the BR Black platinum one I'd been wanting ever since you mentioned it being similar to NR for her. I also got the Pure white one. They had them at the BR factory store and I got them 50%off for the 3.4oz tall clear bottles. I really feel the black platinum will be a sweater weather type scent for me this fall and I'm so excited to wear it, that one and rosewood I'm super excited to wear in fall. My fave vanillas are Brit EDP, Libre, D&G the one L'eau, Burberry signature, V. Beckham intimately beckham & NR Narciso rouge(I don't wear this often however). I have few more but those are the top ones. Another good vanilla that I had but swapped was Armani mania. Loved that one. Great video!!
I'm glad you like Black Platinum! It's definitely a sweater weather scent, I'll be reaching for it a lot now that it's cooling down. I want to get Pure White as well but I heard the longevity is really bad on that one
@@TheScented Yes it's not the best in regards to longevity but it's also more of a summer or non-cold weather scent so it's good for just throwing on. It actually smells exactly like another scent to me. It smells like JPG "Classique X". A lighter version of that one.

I love vanilla, it's my favorite fragrance note, will actually have a video coming out soon on favorite vanillas. Have you tried YSL Cinema which has a very gentle vanilla and a tea vibe? I feel like someone who doesn't like vanilla would still like this one. 😍
I love Cinema! It’s discontinued so I also have a back-up bottle. It’s a cozy vanilla, so wonderful. Why do they always discontinue the beauties???

Vanilla is one of those notes that can come across sooo cheap and gross. Eau Duelle by Diptyque is beautiful. Awesome choice.

I bought La Belle. It smells like Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss mixed with Katy Perry Purr. I have those two and layer together. La Belle reminds me of it.

Another good one that has vanilla and that no one talks about is Emporio Armani She (Lei). To me, I smell the most the vanilla and the sexy musk 😉 It lasts at least 5-6 hours on me 😊
You probably would enjoy Ani by Nishane. Eau Duelle was my fav vanilla until I got my nose on Ani. Maxmroma has the line on sale right now.
Eau Duelle is a terrific vanilla.
Also enjoy Regliesse Noir by 1000 Flowers - the vanilla is not so in your face.

Other countries have much more notes listed for La Belle. I have read that there is pear, apple, bergamot, cinnamon, roses, vanilla orchid, vanilla, vetiver, and labdanum. Other simple notes listed are pear, bergamot, and vanilla pod. If vanilla smells more like caramel it can be sickly to me.
Histoires de Parfums is my jam. If you haven't checked out the rest of the house do it... So many good fragrances. Amber 114... 1740 ... 1725.... 1969... The blue line is interesting too. Have a good day Yana ♥️

I am not a vanilla lover either. 😣 I do enjoy Hanae Mori Butterfly, Olympia by PR and This is her even if the longevity is poor on me. Anyway, I could become a vanilla convert. 😜

A unisex vanilla that I love- Nishane Ani. I'm picky about my vanillas, they have to be really well done for me to like them, but when I love them, I really love them. I hate cheap smelling vanillas and ones from bath and body shops, and I hate vanilla candles.

I can so relate to you. I like “some” vanilla but i dont like most vanilla fragrance becAuse I learned that I am allergic to strong vanilla scents almost always give me migraine- NOT headache but migraine that lasts for a couple of days 😭😭😭 i love Paco Rabanne Olympea but I just cant wear in the Philippines - I wore it in winter in Japan and it was great! Btw have you tried Aquolina Pink Sugar? Im so curious how you find it. I recently reviewed it and my viewers all seem to love it. So I wonder if it is just me that doesnt appreciate it. My favourite is Micallef’s Note Vanillée but apparently it’s been discontinued .
If you look at the JPG website the notes are Bergamont, Pear and Vanilla for La Belle and no vetiver. I guess fragrentica is wrong lol

I 🧡 vanilla as long as it doesn’t smell cheap. One of my friends doesn’t like it, but only if it smells like typical cooking vanilla. Wish I could smell all of those I haven’t smelled, which is most of them.

How can you not like vanilla? I don’t understand. It’s okay everyone has their preferences but I just don’t understand. But I still loved the video. Do you have a mornings or meditation 🧘♀️ fragrance list? Something that is morning-like or uplifting, almost divine, reminds you of Jesus or God or Buddha or Shiva or something. Idk that holy vibe. I LOVE vanilla but sometimes I want the vanilla to be a little more complex and complimented. Sometimes just straight up vanilla is boring =/ I REALLY wanted to love "this is her" but it wound up smelling straight up like baby spit up on me. I was SO disappointed
What is it about Sandlewood fragrances and the Dill pickle note? 😂 After the 3rd time of being told I smelled like dill pickles, I sold my bottle of Killian Sacred Wood. I love pickles but don’t want to smell like on. 😂
