Huion Kamvas 13 - Unboxing and Driver Installation Guide

One of my friends purchased a #huion #kamvas13. So I borrowed it to do a quick review!
In this video I will unbox the Huion Kamvas 13 and look at what comes in the box. I will also talk guide you through the process of installing the #driver software and the initial setting up that is needed.
I ran into a small issue of pressure sensitivity not working after installing for the first time. So in this video I will show how to diagnose any issues you might get. After diagnosis I was able to remedy the problem by reinstalling the driver software.
I was able to setup everything and get the pen display working well with Krita which is my go-to drawing app on windows.

At 3:24, it doesn't open the same tab that opens up for you.
Hi can anyone help me, when I open an app it does not display on the tablet it just stays on desktop but in my computer the app window is displayed.
You have to drag the app to the right. Open display settings to see both monitors

@@Kalartistry the problem was the driver format i had to use the tar format driver otherwise the pen keys did not work.

I can only get one working screen and it doesn't feel the 13.3 screen size of tablet. Can someone help?

Hey I'm having major problems with where to out the hdmi because my screen already is plugged in a hdmi plug any recommendations also I'm struggling to get anything on my screen

Hi I really need help installing the drives and downloading....I do exactly what you do I input the model : kamvas13

I download the latest file and when I click to download a window pops up and it reads as follows:
" The app you're trying to install isn't a Microsoft - verified app..and it advices me to get the app from the app store but they don't have the app the app store ....idk what to do!!!
You should install anyway, you can ignore the warning and proceed with the installation
does it need to be connected to pc or laptop or we can just use it as tablet?
is it good for programs like blender or AE?

The tablet shows the pc screem and everything but when i open the driver it says device disconnected ??? I tried reconnecting the wires there working fine
Mm did you sounds like some hardware issue. I suggest you to try again with the wires and uninstall the driver and try installing it back. Let me know if that works🙂
Hi, can I reassign the keys again if I am not satisfied with it?
Of course you can, just have to open the setup interface and change it the way you prefer 😇

My working area only shows one option, how do i get it to show the tablet option ?
Go to the driver interface and from there you can select the working area.

I haven’t tried it with Mac but it says to use the power adapter and USB power cable. Have you tried that way?
Do you know what i can do if i dont have an HDMI plug on the side to plug the big cord in? im using an adapter but its not working and i dunno what to do :(
An adapter should work normally. Would you be able to change the adapter and check?
@@Kalartistry im gonna try using the adapter on my mom's computer just to see if i need a different adapter or if its just my computer. Also, i cant remember but do i need to plug the red cord into my computer aswell?
Huion official site didn't ship to India so i got it from Amazon. Am i going to face any trouble in setting it up???

Plz help me if you can. While I'm opening any drawing software and trying to draw lines , it's just creating dots wnd scratches. Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver again and again.. but nothing fruitful came out.
Contacted huion service, they mailed me to install huion tabletQC software which my windows 10 not allowing to install.
I'm really frustrated 😢
I’m sorry you had to faced this issue 🙁 does this happened to all the drawing softwares? Have you tried adjusting the pen pressure graph?
You can try connecting this to another computer and see if the issue is with your computer.
@@Kalartistry I haven't tried other pcs but did all the other things.
so Huion doesn't have an official software or app for drawing so you just gotta pick different apps for you to draw on because the Huron app you were using was only adjusting the settings of your tablet?
Huion does have an app called Huion sketch. I haven’t tried it yet. Let me know I can try and let you know😊
So it looks like you need a computer with two hdmi inputs to see monitor and tablet??
Yes for a desktop PC you need two hdmi if you need both monitor and tablet
not necessarily, you can buy an adapter
My canvas 13 just has a black screen and said no signal
You can Check if the cables are attached properly and then try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it again.

did you ever find a fix for this? I have installed everything and i cant get anything other than my desktop to display on the tablet

I have had mine since last Christmas and I still can't get this to work, when I try to open the website to get the drivers it says it cant reach the page, someone please help. :(
try getting a VPN to switch your location or look for the drivers in a another site

Yes, this is just like a monitor. It does not have its own software
For any digital tablet, you will need a drawing software ("drawing app").

The background music is a little too high and sometimes obscures your voice. you speak too fast at times.
