Go to harbor freight and get a table top bandsaw. It’s a hundred bucks and you cut up enough shoes that it’s worth it. Can cut a shoe into 1/4s in seconds

If you want to try an insole made out of NB's ABZORB foam, get a pair of their 22 shoes. They have a thicker insole made completely out of that stuff.
These do look more slimmer than the 1010. If the FuelCell product was in the 1010 before then that orange foam may be just an updated version for skating. Hybrid of a better c-cap construct cause the 508 and the 288s' do not have FuelCell, N-2 reinforcing, or RevLite but are C-caps like the 808, 508, 288s'.
