GOOD MORNING AMERICA'S HOMEPAGE:
gma.yahoo.com/
You can pretty much guarantee your pizza is going to arrive cold.
Pizza time!
You can guarantee your pizza would have gone old by the time you get it!
5 years later and it’s around the corner
Yeah man 😅
Advertised arrival time, 3-5 business days or less.
This is an example of what a car centric city looks like in its terminal stage.
Terminal stage? What other options would people have if they don’t have their own vehicles. Nobody can fly to work on a helicopter.
@@RealNiggaBob That is the problem. People don't have other options, because the city is poorly designed. Good cities have walkable neighbourhoods and efficient public transportation. None of those things are given in American cities and everything is build to car scale, not human scale. Search for urban channels talking about this problem. There's plenty of those.
@@RealNiggaBob Hey genius, great question. Ever heard of public transportation that can efficiently take multiple people in a single trip? Imagine being pro car focused cities and having no clue about what realistic solutions are..... its so obvious
@@LS-Moto Yep, think about the fact that all the passengers in the cars you saw in this video could fit in one or two metro train.
Cars are highly inneficient to transport people.
It’s actually kind of cool how the lanes align perfectly for a solid red and white
Watch it and play Christmas music in the background
@@bigchris9213 damn nigga that's cool😁
@@lonzojr3149 lol corny asf dude 😎
Why red and white alignment though?
this is how it looked at 5 AM when i was leaving for LAX! it was really dark, but so beautiful seeing both sides of the road, white and red.
if only there was some sort of way of transporting masses of the public without needing cars...
I'm talking about this often but think of busses instead of cars. the average car has 1.3 passengers so a bus could be used instead of 76 cars or a big bus instead of 123 cars. If all those people in the videos traffic would drive in a bus they would just drive a nearly empty road that's relaxed and faster anyways. and to that u could use trains for additional transportation. But all that didn't serve the rich oil king America is sucking on so hey...
Al they need is two out of 26 lanes to be bus exclusive, and maybe some space for a bike. But hey that would be a sensible thing to do. We don't do that here
p u b l i c t r a n s p o r t a t i o n
@@mvptryme7688cough cough.. trains
If it wasn't for all the pollution and people suffering, its a beautiful thing to look at.
Existential comment
And being stuck in traffic for hours.
What suffering
That looks... legitimately unbearable.
The 405 in LA when the traffic is flowing
I was driving home once on Friday from LA to SD and it was right after traffic like this lightened up but the people were in a rush to get home and it was still packed but everyone was going 80+ on a windey 5+ lane freeway. I’m a decent driver but I was amazed how nobody was crashing. I could hardly change lanes and worst of all they have old freeway lines which are still slightly visible and the new lines don’t follow the old ones and if you’re not careful you will accidentally go into the other lane.
80? Thats it? But i know what your talking about with the old and new lines, my cars lane assist will act funky and i have to turn it off
At some point, LA is just not going to work anymore. It‘s too inefficient, too sprawled out, too wasteful, too expensive, too dehumanizing and too antisocial.
Within the next ten years I think people will start to realize living in big cities isn't "it"
@@catsforhire9116 the big urban centres -yes, I agree. Smaller cities can work. Often do.
Car centric urban design destroyed the cities.
I lived in LA and often found alternative routes through the hills or made sure I left before or after traffic.
So you left before or after you lived there?
portland trail blazers logo
You are right!!
But reversed
@@charliszedelossantos5546 yeah that's because the helicopter is looking up from south to north, but if it were looking from north to south than yes.
I never get to see it from this perspective, but yeah, we're used to it.
Must be a pretty life
@@daWizard. it’s not I fucking hate this town lol
It might just be me but I LOVE driving the day before thanksgiving. Even tho it’s insane and chaotic and super delayed, it really makes me feel like I’m a part of the holiday hustle and bustle. Sets the mood for me completely
I feel, but I only like it for the first time, after that it's a slugfest.
lmao you need a life bruh
@@nirvanic3610 exactly lmao… especially if you went for a quick errand and now you gotta suffer 2hrs
Clown. I'm pretty sure you're the only one who feels that way.

"Just add more lanes"
Just need a lane with blue lights now!
For now its Polish flag xD

So u had to stay? XD

HOLY SHIT! I never ever saw that many cars in a traffic!
Ten o clock at night and its six lanes bumper to bumper 75-80 mph. Loved it!
In San Diego its like this daily for 1 or 2 hours at most (4-6PM) on Some freeways so its not that bad.
And in L.A its like this for 4-8 hours(1PM-7PM) EVERYWHERE.
ok so... you close 3 lanes from both sides and build a railway... and you add bicycle paths and walkways and stuff so people don't have to drive
They have those in LA. The big paths have been commandeered by heroin addicts. Everything is covered in grafitti, worst corruption in America. Let those that stay suffer in traffic forever.
LA isn't dense enough for Netherlands tier public transport. NYC is though.
But what about the massive profits of the automobile industry?? 🤣🤣
@@lacku2677 North America cities were much denser before the 50s when they were redesigned for the cars. The only way to solve traffic and have liveable cities is to design them for people again, removing street lanes, parking spots and improving public transport and urban density.
@@MrJohn-kb1eu They have those.... yeah but barely..... also yeah its complicated by the poor urban planning of american cities.....
On a positive note, I notice there's not many gappers. You know, those people that drive in bumper to bumper traffic not daring to get any closer than 50 feet to the person in front of them and then slam on the brakes when someone changes lanes 25 feet in front of them. Gappers are extremely prevalent in Atlanta. Somehow I always wind up behind them.
i see this vid in my recommendation while i’m stuck in traffic in la😭
"surely adding lanes will mean better transit"
This is practically everyday in LA
That is normal for Los Angeles
Big deal, this is a normal day in LA.
THAT GIRL IS A REAL CROWD PLEASER
Black Salami what?
please leave rap music out of this..
I live in LA and the traffic is always this way. It sucks.
Why don't you fight for train or bus lanes
Or bikes
Show that to Saudi Arabia, they would ❤️LOVE❤️ it !!!
why?
lool
⛽️
And in 30 years time the world will have twice the amount of vehicles on the road. The fun is only beginning!
People are important
Coronavirus
They’ll have to eventually restructure all city highways. Make them 10 lanes each way. Something they should’ve initially executed
That's the most insane mannequin challenge I've ever seen.
we're still stuck in it 6 years later, whelp!
In L A you must need a car
Motorcycles ok ?
@@user-mm4hx2ds2y Mehhh, wouldn't risk it with all the retarded drivers over here.
@@Thatmattdoe But theyre allowed to lane split out there.
@@DaddysFastestSwimmer Yeah but it takes one jackass to be texting & driving to swerve into another lane and potentially hurt an innocent motorcyclist. It goes both ways, just depends on how you look at it. IMO not worth it.
Ngl, its beautiful. Imagine taking a smoke of Marlboro on the roof of your apartment, overlooking the highway.
What's new, it's always traffic in LA! 😂
I've lived there and it does get horrible! 😖
Come back beautiful
Where are u now? Vegas? GBTC
Sadly there was no footage this year because of Covid :( Looking at this traffic was a yearly tradition for me lol.
Geez! Be safe everyone, Happy New Year🎉
Jesus, and I'm pretty sure that bus I saw is going to be off schedule! :D
Yay. Some unintended overtime lol
And thats the problem, everybody is in cars because its a 2 hour traffic jam whether youre in a car or a bus. If busses had their own lanes (or better yet, there were trains) then less people would be on the road and there would be way less traffic.
Man that lasts 4 or 5 hours to get out of this traffic😳
Reminds me of those sour strawberry candy belt
That's Los Angeles for you one thing I hate about my city is 5:00pm traffic
Amazing footage appreciate la weather never has shame
I would go insane if I had to drive through that traffic every day. I know a lot of people live out in the mountains and so they have to deal with it every morning and evening. If I had to live in LA I would live as close to my work as possible.
Most people do try to live as close to work as possible, but it doesn't always work out. In LA, they have many super commuters, as they're called, who face traffic daily because they drive over 100 miles each way to get to work in the city from where they live. I personally know a woman who doesn't live with her husband Monday through Friday, but shares an apartment with a friend near where she works in Torrance. After work on Friday, she drives out to her home in Lancaster to be with her husband on weekends. It's that crazy. the Even if you could live 10 minutes from work, you'd still be affected by traffic jams on the weekend, going to see friends, meeting at entertainment venues, etc. You can somewhat minimize the impact of the traffic on your life to a certain extent, but you simply cannot avoid it altogether.
@@L1623VP I live in San Antonio Texas and traffic is mild compared to that. Sometimes I get stuck in traffic going to the store but nothing like the video.
I live in LA and I've always made sure to live close to my job, the furthest I've commuted was 30 minutes. I'm now lucky to work from home!
why would you travel during busy times. you like stress?
Sexy Max I like them too but I don't want to spend them for two hours after work.
Sexy Max . You like it when cars unexpectedly cut in front of you disrespecting you.
dude when nearly everyone use private car to commute IT`S ALWAYS A BUSY TIME)
imagine a 12 lane highway being bumper to bumper for hours...
If american cities keep developing that way, i dont doubt itll happen some day
I'm glad I live in San Diego
This is child's play compared to highway 401 in Toronto, the busiest highway in North America.
You can see it from space most likely.
Have a bus lane, where it's illegal for cars to drive in and that can force people to take public transport and get through the traffic quicker. Also having cameras that take photos of the bus lane/police that patrol it can ensure that no cars are driving in it.
lmao not that simple. The city of LA has been trying to figure out how to fix the traffic for decades, it’s not a matter of transit like buses but rather the bad highway system.
@@PiratedProd. The more roads they build, the more people buy and use personal vehicles. Similarly, the more public transport they create, the more it will be used. Have a look at this vid: ua-cam.com/video/2z7o3sRxA5g/v-deo.html They have over 10 lanes of highway that they could be using for public transport.
@@PiratedProd. the vaccine will solve this issue
@@PiratedProd. No, it is quite frankly a matter of alternative modes of transportation to cars. You're insane if you disagree after watching this video and decades of thinking that an extra lane would solve the issue. Obviously not. Buses are way more efficient and so would a better metro system. Even rail is a good solution. Go find your brain
@@PiratedProd. So tell us how to solve the bad highway system... what is bad about it anyways? You couldnt be more wrong here buddy.
In chandigarh,India... Here if we are stuck in traffic for a couple of minutes...!!! We call that INSANE TRAFFIC...
That's why having a hovercraft to fly is a helluva lot better than driving
Kobe got me here rip kobe....
Literally hell
Bet NYC was similar both places and of course Chicago have very busy freeways
Nyc only has 3 lane highways though
That's incredible
Now imagine your EV is showing a low charge warning and traffic stops. Sounds like GREEN IS GOOD. 😂😅
Holy Moly, You could leave your car, grab a hot dog, come back, and nap in your car.
I love my lil Delaware 😮❤😂
I thought that was Nashville for a minute
Merry Christmas!
Imagine if EMS can’t get to the hospital fast enough in this traffic before the person dies all of a sudden.
Yes, and I said for years when I lived there that if there was ever an emergency where large numbers of people had to be evacuated from LA, it wouldn't be possible; millions of people would perish. They're literally trapped by their own presence, their congestion. It would be like those stories we hear about from concerts where hundreds of fans rush the stage and people get crushed and die.
Just don’t take the highway☠️
I've seen some traffic cut not that kind of traffic...I wonder if it would be faster to get to the destination using smaller roads.
Is that the 405?
Just one more lane bro! And we'll fix traffic forever! Granted 300%!
Holy fuck, why is there 7 lines in each side of the road....that is insane
BUT WE NEED WIDER ROADS RIGHT?!
It looks so futuristic it's kinda scary lol
Rush hour Traffic in Los Angeles, California RIGHT ABOUT Now
i miss home
Wonder if you can see this from space this is mad!
Is it the 405 fwy??
Is this live?

Beijing is worse than this everyday. At least they are moving.
maybe need a drink buttle
thejeffinvade im sorry but LA has the worst traffic in the world
Yeah moving 3 feet every 5 minutes they don't call it the parking lot for no reason.
💫High speed trains/rail needed💫
It's worse now. They say more people than ever are working from home since the pandemic, but I sure can't tell when I get on L.A. area freeways, or even just city streets. Where is everybody driving to?
Looks like an american flag
Canada is waiting
No, they're probably taking Trumps idea for a wall and running with it. They want to keep us from immigrating there! LOL! #PlotTwist
imagine a evacuation. no thanks I'll stay out on the boonies.
Wanna solve traffic?
SO SIMPLY BUILD RAILWAY LINES AND REMOVE HIGHWAYS
That would be a bad idea a really bad idea
Imagine running out of gas
Oh my god
It looks like flood
Why do ppl even live in L.A? at this point
ohh my god what is this kind trapic happend in india
Why isn’t there a subway trains in LA
