Man I started tearing up on this episode......Was so awesome how they pulled this together and included the original guys. Story is awesome, really have fun watching this show, my son loves it too!
Them talking about Emilo Estevez is just amazing - he is just so down to earth as he was all those years ago. For a guy who left acting after Mighty Ducks 3 and Mission Impossible with Tom Cruise the same year to take up directing of small films and not to come back to movies or television until over 20 years later it must be pretty amazing to still have the appeal he has. Most amazing thing is this is the first time ever that Emilio Estevez has done a TV series; he had only done movies before this. So co-star Lauren Graham a veteran of many TV series has been helping guide him through the process not knowing what the script is going to be next week until they get to it as it has been a game changer for himself.
While in high school I was able to watch the taping of The Mighty Duck in Minneapolis with my classmates. I didn't get to meet any of the ducks or Emilio, I was able to get Paula Abdul's autograph when she showed up on set. I still have that autograph 30 years later.
Man...I’m 44 I remember being 15 and watching the first Ducks movie. This is sooo much of a tear jerker as the Ducks have all grown up with me. They’re around my age. Love this. To bad we couldn’t have both Bash Brothers. They were always my favorite. Along with Captain Duck Charlie.
I'm 43 and remember first seeing it in jr high and just loving the movie and then seeing familiar movie locations really made me love it more. But seeing this video with them back together put a smile back on my face. Loved them. Had a crush on a few of the cast members lol
I'm glad they set up a great reason as to why he didn't. Saying that Charlie was fed up with Bombay not taking time out of his life to be in theirs was a great reason why so many of the characters wouldn't return for him. But also sets up a personal moment if they choose to have a Charlie/Bombay episode

I’m going to watch the show straight up from how the OG cast was talking about it I feel it’s gonna be good I just hope it holds the torch like the movies did The Mighty Ducks will forever hold a special place in my heart

My love of ice hockey started with the Mighty Ducks films. I was thirteen when the first film came out so I was about the same age as the OG Ducks. This past year I bought a retro Mighty Ducks Anaheim Jersey. I live in Portland and now that Seattle has a NHL team they are the team that I support without a doubt. I just recently last weekend got a customize Kraken jersey with my name and number on it. Like I said though it was the Mighty Ducks the OG Mighty Ducks that got me into hockey. So seeing this cast back on TV really brings some wonderful memories back up growing up loving sports. Quack Quack cake eater for life

What I thought was odd is how Kenny Woo had an original Ducks uniform. But he never had the original green Ducks uniform, only the white one cause he joined during the second movie.
Pretty sure they wanted the OG Ducks to appear in the organization’s throwback uniforms even though Woo didn’t actually wear one when he played with the team.
One of my favorite details for episode 6 was that Kenny Wu had his jersey made with the original green and yellow. For me, this was a cool detail because when he's introduced in the second movie, he never wore those colors along with the new additions to the team. I feel that later, the original ducks made him the green and yellow jersey as a way of accepting him as a full Duck along with the others. Spoiler for Episode 10 that just dropped: (Click if you want to see) (*** ***) There was one other jersey that caught my eye. One of the Don't Bothers (couldn't really see who it was) was wearing a jersey that said "Gaffney" on the number 6. It was such a nice reference to Julie since she wasn't really mentioned in this series. I'm glad that they also made a green and yellow jersey for her and most likely for the new additions from D2.

It’s ashame that the show didn’t last. They had a lot of issues with their writing despite having a lot of great and positive messaging. The ep though when the Old Ducks came back was amazing and such a reliving of nostalgia moment for I think a lot of us fans was truly special.

I'm just sad that there were so few of the original cast involved. I've seen events with more of them. Really lessened the impact, especially since several of these actors/characters I had completely forgotten about since they were only in the sequels. ALSO, the whole crew should have come together to help Gordon Bombay save his ice rink facility. Would have been awesome.
