With all due respect, I truly believe this is the best slingshot you guys have produced. The weight is perfect, the size is perfect, its shootability is amazing. The bands don't slip. I have nothing bad to say about this frame. Thank you Nathan for bringing Zac's frame to market and adding your own touch to it. So pleased, I bought 4 of them :D
I got mine yesterday and after the first shots I was lost. It's absolutly stunning. Don't get me wrong I love the Ocularis after I installed bigger mountig balls, I love the Scout LT its wonderful but the Sparrow 🤷🏼♂️ it feels like a part of the body, so natural. Now I wanna say to everybody try the Sparrow! Try the Sparrow! 😂
Ordered mine a week ago from Australia. Thought it would take 2 months but it arrived in 10 days. Probably explained the hexy postage. I didn't care cause in Australia you can get this kind of thing. Very happy with the product and service from simpleshot. And even better are these how to videos. Makes life so easy. Happy shooting people
Received mine about an hour ago. Got it all set up and slinging 3/8" balls at spinners in my back woods. Love it. Great feel and position in the hand especially for an intuitive shooter like me. Thank you!!
I'll have to say the tie material that is included with the sparrow is not enough length. Even with incredible stretch and using a pencil (instead of my thumb) and some tweezers I was still like 3-4 wraps short from the amount that is suggested in the user manual. Great slingshot never the less. Fits my wife's smaller hands perfectly. Just buy some amberbelt tie material (if you don't already have some sitting around) if you plan on using it right off the bat. The tie material that is included with the slingshot is only about 7in long.
I’ve tried to do this several times and either the bands included aren’t long enough to tie in this fashion, or I’m doing something horrifically wrong... you’ve got no business making it look that easy sir!
It's reported that Nathan actually ties bands in his sleep. It may just take some practice. Stretch out the tie in material as you wrap and it'll be plenty long! 👊
I just got my Sparrow and had the same issue. I stretched it as much as i could but still had reduce the number of wraps. Hopefully that's strong enough.
Hi Nathan Any change in future the Sparrow come with band clips I found out that the Wasp Uniphoxx clips is just right size for the Sparrow tip. If i drill the Sparrow to fit those clips, will it loose it strength ??
What can I use as an alternative to the tie-ins you guys send with the slingshot? My tie-ins were loose in the package so I didn't realize they were used for attaching the bands and tossed them...
I get mine from Amazon or Simpleshot sells it too, on Amazon it's called crystal string on Simpleshot I believed it's called "Amberbelt" hope this helps you out..
It happens, unfortunately. Sometimes it's completely natural (latex has an actual lifespan and they break), and sometimes it's just a bad piece of latex (there's a 1-2% fail rate even with excellent bandsets, if we're all honest). Hit us up at the chat at simple-shot.com and well absolutely make it right!
@@simpleshot thank you. I love your slingshot quality. Your bands are made with great quality. however, as you said, the bands do snap. I can understand why and thank you for responding. I appreciate it
I have had my sparrow 2 weeks now and have spent the entire time trying to install the bands. No way, no how. The ties need to be twice as long, at least. The set up video mentions multiple ways of installing and multiple instructional videos. Can't find them. A little help?
@@simpleshot I was looking for a little more help. Are there other videos I can watch? Other options for installing the bands? My 66 year old fingers just can't perform the gyrations required. I have had the sparrow for two weeks and have yet to shoot it. Can't get the bands installed!
So the sparrow uses tie ins, not clips. But the sparrow will accommodate whatever and you throw at it. No problem. Make sure you follow the instructions clearly on how to tie in.
It takes some practice (especially to get to the point of Nathan in this video). Keep trying and you WILL get it. Just keeping everything tight and in place takes some practice. Once you get it, you'll never forget it! And knowing Wrap and Tuck is a skill worth knowing! 👊 Keep at it!
Thanks for over “teching” one of the simplest devices known to mankind... If your too stupid to assemble a fully functional slingshot from scavenged materials... Then you shouldn’t be playing with one at all due to the attendant thinkings and responsibilities involved. ..I was a city born kid who made slingshots that were deadly accurate when I was 10yrs old...Sorry if I appear critical... But it ain’t rocket surgery... 😒
He's just explaining how to wrap a band set in place......just because we needed to scavenge inner tubes and sticks as kids does not mean we can't dive down the rabbit hole and learn some of the subtleties and choices involved in modern slingshottery...

I just purchased the sparrow and I’m totally psyched about it. Can’t wait to get it. Thanks for this tutorial!
Thank you taking the time for the setup. I always learn something from your vids.

Lovely video
I got mine last week. I like it ! Someone needs to do a video on how to shoot butterfly style. I wanna try it.
Thanks to Zac and Nathan for bringing this awesome sling shot to Amazon. It’s cheap to purchase and fun to shoot

I just ordered a sparrow slingshot. I am excited to try it. When did the sparrow slingshot hit the market?
Hi Nathan
Any change in future the Sparrow come with band clips
I found out that the Wasp Uniphoxx clips is just right size for the Sparrow tip.
If i drill the Sparrow to fit those clips, will it loose it strength ??
Good idea. 👍
Yes, it will compromise the fork tip strength.
Thank you
Let's try a test trial. This sparrow with the new quick clip system 🤔🤔🤔🤯🤯🤯
Nice one, indeed. Nathan, I would like to know if the clips on the Scout XT are made of metal. Thank you.
Absolutely! They are aluminum and will grab even fat bands!
SimpleShot Thank you!
What can I use as an alternative to the tie-ins you guys send with the slingshot? My tie-ins were loose in the package so I didn't realize they were used for attaching the bands and tossed them...
Old band latex cut into strips works great. We also sell rolls of the Amberbelt tie on material.
Sir do a shooting video with it
Make vedio about tappered flatband vs straightband performance sir
where can i get more of the tie in material?
I get mine from Amazon or Simpleshot sells it too, on Amazon it's called crystal string on Simpleshot I believed it's called "Amberbelt" hope this helps you out..
hey, if you get the bands, buy a couple of extra pairs. one snaped at the ears. i don't know if it was me or if this set was just made wrong.

😃👍 good 🥰
Ocean of skills.

I use 0,75, 0,80, 0,90 mm bands, and I just want to be sure the clips can provide a tight grip. Thank you.

What materials used ? Is it polycarbonate?
The axiom ocular has been removed from amazons listing
Hey simpleshot! I was wondering how you figure out what your draw length is. Do you have a video recommendation?
Yeah! Search our channel for active band length, draw length, and matching bands to ammo..
I'm having trouble getting my bands on... 😥😖😭😡🤬

We did this and it wasn't working can you tell us what we're doing wrong please
What is happening? What exactly isn't working?
Woohoo!!!
what are the dimensions for butterfly shooting and tape thickness thank you friend
This will be different for every shooter. It will vary by draw length and the weight of the ammo that is being used.
what are the "foundation wraps" for?
Those foundation wraps just get the surface prepared (nice and grippy)!
What are the sparrow dimensions
Slingshot by slingshot
There are photos on our website showing the sparrow with a ruler.
Do you ship world wide
Yep. Sure do.
What ammo do the bands shoot ?
The stock bandsets that come with it shoot 3/8 or 7/16 steel with a vengeance.
Nice designed slingshot Made by: sachary fowler
Simple shot pls give me one of your product plss
Do you ship to the netherlands (Europe)
Unfortunately, the Netherlands is one of the very few locations to which we do not ship.
They love to confiscate or return Slingshot shipments at the border. We just cannot get enough through customs to make it worth sending them.
@@simpleshot thats sad
