    Apologies for the tighter camera angle on this vid! I accidently had extra stabilization on which crops the view!! Normal service will be resumed in the next vid🙃

    Often speed can hide lack of skills, but I think you are actually making this harder for yourself than you need to because a little more speed and the bike will handle it better and it will become more smooth and confidence inspiring.
    But great progression and the trails do look fun.

      agreed, it's just getting the confidence to do the speed lol

      @@DownhillDesireMTB yes mate at Hamsterly. Went looking for a trail called Honey Badger, and at the very end of it I came off and hit the old knee off a rock. It was the slowest impact ever but dine me right in. I'll be up Chopwell Wednesday hopefully to shake off the rust. 🤣

    I like the video and your honesty. I ride Hamsterley quite a bit. I think you need a bit more speed to get through some of the tech. Especially Two wheels and a Troll. It lets you roll over the rocks and roots that will otherwise stop you dead. Hesitation, within limits, can stop you progressing to the next level. Good ridding. Stay safe.

    • @DownhillDesireMTB

      yea, i keep being told more momentum actually makes it easier, just got to build the confidence to actually do it lol😀

    Only visited Hamsterley once two years ago about 1 year after I started riding again, now I really want to go back and try the black trails...
    I did the bomb hole on special-K on my first visit but I was with guys who'd done it before and I just followed them, I went a bit slow and only just made it up the other side.

    • @DownhillDesireMTB
      @DownhillDesireMTB  2 роки тому +1

      defo worth having a go on the blacks, especially pikes teeth!!! yea i haven't had the courage to do the bomb hole yet, maybe next time lol

    Watching another video on TV.
    That entry bike with those forks is a death trap.
    It will put you off biking .
    I know. Been there .
    A 2013 lappierre zesty 26 inch wheels for less than a grand will be a big improvement but still not enduro.

    bit of advice for Adam no need to drop your peddle in berms only on flat turns and then only if your carrying lots of speed on loose stone. it will end in a bad crash at some point
    very good progression though well done
