Legendary drifter from Big Bang in Yokohama may have been one of those touge racers back in the 90s clips that you still see today in reels that’s why he’s so good 😹.

drifting in big bang circuit is super super hard the cars are so slippery and when i was there i met the old guy of the “legend” and he was dusting me 😅
15:00 FYI those sleeves look like the same kind welders use sometimes. I've used them before and it actually saved me a few times, so I imagine it actually would work beautifuly on a hot kart engine haha

The reason you can "feel" more when pushing than pulling is you don't need to death grip the steering wheel as much when pushing. So, with a lighter grip, you're able to better "feel" the resistance level changes of the front tyres.

Also Japan: Sticks a pole on a go-kart, no runoff on circuit, you mess up you're dying or at best just breaking a leg.

using gopro loses roughly .045 seconds on the straight and dunks are chunky. i’d recommend going barefoot and no helmet 👍

if someone ever talked to me about maintaining tire temperature on a rental kart id probably scream

@@CameronDasRacing They're rock hard, trash tires 99% of the time, and temps only came into play if it was insanely cold or insanely hot. I worked at an outdoor track for a while and the last thing that ever really made a difference was tire temp. I just have had too many people making excuses for their crashes and bad driving and blaming it on tire temp, when in my opinion it never mattered at all (at 99.9% of rental tracks I've driven indoor or outdoor. There are far too many other variables going on in those karts, and yes first lap getting them a little warmer you'll notice but maintaining tire temp does nothing in most rentals
