actually the V8 is one of the best engines out there, it doesn't have the weight of those "impressive" V12's so it reaches its power-band faster, and its cylinder size can be larger than V12's to produce more horsepower realitive to its weight/size as-well, also, its fucking cheaper...so

Lotus's 4 banger's are Toyota engines. And v8's can be heavy it depends. But the new generation of Chevy&Ford engines weigh very little for there size.For example the 2zz-gt engine you were talking about weights 246lbs; and the Ls1 v8 weighs 385. At the end of the day i guess its just an opinion.

The "fastest" production car is actually the Corvette zr1. Not acceleration wise, but track wise. And Id love to see something other than an American v8 run the quarter in 3-4 seconds and make 8-10,000 Horse power.Why do you have to get so hostile? You have your opinions I have mine.
