I learned to bead in the 70’s and I was always taught to do 1 half hitch knot and then weave in two different directions then repeat at least 2 times. Then weave up to where you want it to come out. When you’re trying to weave in your ends at the end of the project you weave in at least 2 different directions (not beads) then do a half hitch knot, repeat at least 2 times. A half hitch knot is you put your needle under a thread between beads and pull until your thread has a loop on one side then you go back through the loop once(1time) then weave again. You don’t see any thread at all if your beading is tight enough. Today a lot of people are actually tying real big knots in their work. They are unsightly and/or clog your beads. I’m happy to see that you teach people correctly instead of tying big knots in their finished jewelry that they expect people to buy. These videos are a Great idea!!! Thank you for your help in teaching the correct methods. You’re awesome! Take care of each other. 💝🥰🤗

I prefer to use a John James short beading needle. Even if your preference is a long beading keep some short needles in various sizes to end and weave thread and to add new thread. I have stitched flat chenille before but never with cubes. The bracelet with cubes really caught my attention.

@@bocajean Thank you for that tip Jean 🤓 I never thought of short needles. Brilliant 🤯 I'll be doing a video showing the cubes. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
